Ultimate Course Formula is for coaches, authors, speakers, and consultants (often referred to as “experts”) who want to make a difference in the world. This book is for people who are sharing their knowledge and expertise and want to make money by selling their content. As Iman Aghay expertly teaches audiences around the world how to create a vital impact on our world, expand their reach and touch the lives of those who want and need to hear the message only they are meant to share, he provides a system that has led to many of his student's to incredible success.
He teaches how to write their Harmonized Business Model, how to do a specific type of market research, asking Eight Golden Questions. He then teaches his students how to structure their content structure, how to record that content and then place it on a membership platform for ease of accessibility. Then Iman goes deeper. In this book, and on his stages, he teaches his proven strategies:
The three types of business models to follow
How to create an irresistible offer
How to create the content
How to structure the content
Course Guidelines
Recording the content
What membership platform to use
How to create a sales funnel
Effective Webinar funnels, and
How to get traffic into that sales funnel
To become an influencer in our world it is important to take a close look at how we can spread our message and expertise without the burnout and frustration. No one can be all places nor all things to all people, but when you learn the effectiveness of the training Iman provides, your reach becomes far more effective. Follow the proven formula Iman provides in this book, or to his audiences both small and large and you will not only save valuable time, but you will remove the frustration and disappointment due to the lack of know-how.
Most of this book is repeated fluff, self promotion, and self justification (author is extremely conceded). There's about 5% of usable content in the whole book. The author gives poor to horrible recommendations for tools, audio and video equipment as well as software and websites recommendations.
The ending 3-4 chapters are plagiarized and paraphrased from another author. I don't agree with this practice. I'm glad I didn't waste money on the Audible copy and am only out $.99 USD for the ebook.
The Ultimate Course Formula contains a lot of very good information about setting up an online course. I found it very useful and practical in many ways. I especially liked the method Iman Aghay suggests for doing market research of potential clients. I implemented that as I set up my own business, and it was incredibly helpful. I also really like his thorough explanation and plan about naming courses. Both these items were excellent!
Yet, I did find that I still didn’t understand all the parts about running an online course after reading this book. So that was a missing piece I would like to have know more about.
Still, it’s a good read and well worth your time if you want to know more about setting up this kind of service.
More about sales than content, learning, or helping others
The key focus of this book is on getting money and getting people to give you more of theirs. Content creation and learning theory take a back seat to that focus.
A fantastic book for the people who would like to share their experiences and make it into a course and market it. Iman Aghay spells out each activity in simple steps and also follows it up as a review in each of the next modules so that we understand the importance of it.
I bought this book some months ago and stored it. In this while, I read 2 or 3 books on the sane subject. Every one taught me a lot but I think, Iman's book put all elements together. It is , certainly, a very good book. Easy to read, easy to understand, and easy to act, if you want.
I do recommend this book to anyone whose want skyrocket his experience in a successful course career.
