The battle for Sparta has begun.

Logan Brannigan has taken back his father’s name and now he and Wholesale Slaughter fight to reclaim his father’s throne.

But deposing the traitor, Rhianna Hale, without bringing all of Sparta into a bloody and divisive civil war won't be easy. And while the Spartans fight among themselves, vultures circle, waiting for their chance to claim what’s left.

When former allies are forced into opposing sides, who can Logan trust to have his back…and who will deliver the Judas kiss?

Betrayal, of course

As you can surmise from the title, there are several different betrayals involved with the story. Logan is still trying to come up with a solution for his multiple problems that don’t cancel each other out. With Katy expecting their baby she’s of course extremely frustrated that she can no longer be the hottest pilot in their fleet, pulling heavy G’s at random.
Then the book ends with a cliffhanger of course. I’m not certain how the series can wrap up all the different storylines in just one book, so we’ll see…

A great continuation of the series.

This book did a great job of continuing the series with a few unexpected twists and turns. I found the ending interesting and unexpected. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
I would like to thank the author for making his books available on Kindle Unlimited. It makes it feasible for me to immerse myself in his various book series.

Well, Logan is finally going to get his position as Guardian of Sparta back, but at what cost? While he was on a planet meeting with Anders and Hale, the Jeuta nuked Logan's homeworld where his pregnant wife, Katy, waited for him.

Now, to see what happens in the last book of the series.

No romance and the F-bomb was used34 times.

As for the narration: Marc Vietor continued with his awesome narration in this book, too.

All six books in the series now read.
An interesting story and characters. Set far into the future, yet so many interesting things that seem right out of this time frame. While fast paced, and indeed, creative...Many of the little things common to this time slip into the writing. The creativness seems only big picture items. Fun, but not completely fictional world far into the future.

Great series

Just when i think i have things figured out they swing away in another direction. It is syfi so take as that an enjoy it. Don't try to pick it apart. I am downloading book 6 as i write this i will give Rick a solid 10 of 10 on this series. And i normally do not read futuristic syfi.

Lotta Action

I'm reading the whole series and enjoying the books. The author is a very good storyteller, although I could do without the long, long descriptions of battles.

If you like battletech

This is a good continuation of the saga of Logan Brannigan, take the mecha of battletech and throw it in a new fallen universe and you have the world of wholesale slaughter. This is a hearty good read

Another solid book in this series. I'm enjoying the story progression as some events (partly) resolve while new threats come into play. If you've liked the series thus far this book will not disappoint.
