Livin’ on the Edge was the sixth book in the Kings of Vengeance series by Winter Travers. The storylines carried over throughout the series so best read in order.

Zephyr was a patched member of the MC with the typical single one night only, no commitment philosophy. Until Lynn. Lynn was a therapist that was introduced to the Kings through Queenie, book four, Midnight Wreckage. She had just enough crazy and drama within her to fit perfectly with the Kings Ol’ Ladies.

Livin’ on the Edge picked up exactly where the previous book ended and Travers merged the ongoing MC plot with Lynn’s family mess for a combined storyline. The plot was solid and entertaining but there were numerous editing errors such as incorrect words, misplaced words, incorrect tense, etc. Aside from the errors, the plot was enjoyable, suspenseful and entertaining.

All in all, it was a quick and fun afternoon read and a great segue into the next book, Blacktop Freedom.

Loved This Book!!

The Kings of Vengeance MC series just keeps getting better and better. Zephyr and Lynn really complement each other because Zephyr is there to help Lynn take a load off and Lynn tries to carry everyone else’s load. You definitely have some steam in this book between the two of them once Lynn finally lets him in and of course The Book Club is always hilarious. I can’t get enough of them ladies!!

Ms. Travers always knows how to bring the MC world front and center mixing everything so well. I cannot wait to see what comes next in this series!!

Loved loved loved Zephyr and Lynn!!! I love when the man who thinks he needs no woman falls hard. With this one it went both ways and Lynn was a stubborn match for Zephyr. I was so happy to see Zephyr finally get his HEA!

Livin' on the Edge is book six to the Kings of Vengance MC series. I'd classify this book as an instant love romance that focuses on Zephyr and Lynn. Their story was original, unpredictable, short, sweet, and of course sprinkled with corky humor that Travers is known for.

Zephyr was not what I expected. In previous books he came off like he could be a selfish player who wanted nothing to do with children. But he is actually really caring, attentive, helpful, and empathetic. He seems to be a natural caregiver, so if he ever does decide to have children he would be an amazing dad.

Lynn has the weight of the world on her shoulders. She's really hard on herself and hasn't had the opportunity to enjoy life. This stems from her past. She had to grow up quickly and never really had a proper childhood. She always took care of her family and never had anyone take care of her. She struggles to shut off that control and allow others to help her. Often times this leads her to being negative, but Zephyr has a way of opening her up and gives her the nudge she needs to start living a happier, carefree life.

Although I enjoyed this book, there wasn't a whole lot of action. I do feel this story is leading to something good in Bricks' book. And I'm going to guess we may see some of the characters from RBMC series as well. They seem to cross over a tad. Also, I always love the camaraderie and fun between the women in Travers' books. I need my own group of gal pals to have book club with.

If you're new to the series I advise starting at book 1 so you understand everything that is happening and who the other characters are. These stories pick up where the previous one ended and the plots continue to thicken throughout the series. I'm looking forward to the next book and what's in store for Bricks.

Livin’ on the Edge is the 6th book in the Kings of Vengeance MC series. Winter Travers is a wonderful author, and this book is just her latest in a long list of great books. Zephyr and Lynn’s story is a world wind. After a party, Lynn finds herself having a one-night stand with Zephyr, (not a spoiler if you read the last book) or at least that’s what it was supposed to be. Zephyr is relentless in his drive to lighten Lynn’s load, but Lynn is hell bent on ditching him and carrying the world on her shoulders by herself. If you’ve been reading this series, this is a must. If you haven’t been reading this series, well, what are you waiting for? Go grab book one and get to it, you wont regret it!! 4.5 stars!!

Sorry it took so long to get to but family health issues have kept me from reading as much as I used to.
I loved see Lynn get her happy ending. Zephyr is a good guy and he really shows her how men aren't necessarily what you think they are.
As usual the author has a way of making you love the characters even if at times you just want to shake them. You become so invested into the series you always have at least a little smile pasted on your face by the time you read The End. And boy are things gonna heat up. Brick is up next. Poor guy, he just can't catch a break.

Zephyr is a player and can take or leave a relationship until he has one night with Lynn. Lynn is an independent woman with no time for anything beyond a brief fling. Zephyr actually wants more than a one night stand. Will Lynn give him the chance to prove himself to her? A good read with low drama.

This was a quick easy read with low angst. Winter always has lots of humor in her books and Zephyr and Lynn where no exception. Zephyr was all in from the beginning, he just has to convince Lynn he isn’t going anywhere.

One night of partying and Lynn find herself in Zephyr’s bed and then her life is consumed by a man that wants to take care of her and help her out, but she has no idea why or what to do with him. Lynn is used to being the one to fix everyone in her life or business, but she never seems to find time for herself. What would she do if she did?

Zephyr has had his eye on Lynn for a little bit now and he’s happy he took the chance after Brick’s party to spend some time with her and get to know her. What he’s learned is that she is a woman that cares about everyone else but herself and works herself to the bone to fix everyone else and not care about herself.

I love the Kings of Vengeance and their women. The women are a crazy bunch that keeps their men on their toes all the time and Lynn will be a great addition to the ol’ ladies. I love the characters and the story lines of these books. The men are big, bad bikers, but like is says in the story, when they get around their women, they become someone different than what you see while they are out doing business as a club. They can be dangerous and ruthless, but they are also a family and act like it. I loved the scene in the basement of the funeral home. They act just like brothers and their women are sisters. These books always make me laugh out loud and I worry about the characters when there is danger nearby. I give this book a 5-star review and look forward to the next book in the series.

Annoy one else had Bon Jovi and other various 80’s rock playing in there head while they read this book. No just me okay cool!

I just love this series, every book has me on the edge of the seat and wanting more. It has me anticipating what will happen next. But with this book I don’t have as much action as I would like but that is okay because trust me when I say that I am anticipating the next book to hold something big. In Livin’ on the Edge we see the love bloom between Lynn and Zephyr. Now Lynn just has the weight of the world on her shoulders. She has taken care of everyone and has a hard time just chilling. Zephyr can come off as a bit cocky well more selfish at times. I felt at least, but he had this heart of gold and he wants to show Lynn everything and that love can be enjoyable not negative and worrisome all the time. Even though this book does have a bit more romance then action you still get the trademark Winter touch to the book. If you are a fan you know what I am talking about. If you are knew please come with an open mind.

Of coarse like I said I have a feeling that this book is leading up to something huge so please don’t start in the middle of the series and give the author a negative review because YOU decided to do that. Start from book one all these books pick up from where the other began. Come on people it’s a series and if you read the reviews you would knows this.

Looking forward to the next book.

Another fantastic addition to this thrilling MC series. I love this group of brothers that are a little different and working hard to make their new club a force. They have several things going on. A new strip club, an elusive enemy, and fortifying their relationship with the Bastards. Zephyr is the nomad that answered the call of a brother and became one of the Kings. He's a sexy hunk with his eye on Lynn. She's been around the club with the Old Ladies Book Club. It's a wild ride when the girls get together for gossip and drinks. One night of drinking and Lynn's ready for Zephyr's attentions. It may seem a little insta if you haven't read the previous stories but it's really not. They've been circling each other awhile. He's ready for more and sets out to prove to Lynn that they are the real deal. Zephyr is terrific when he takes care of Lynn and becomes a fixture in her life helping with family issues. I love these two together. Not a lot of club action in this one just old niggling problems and a new foe is in the mix for future storylines. This is a quick read with a different twist on an MC that I love. It's madness and quirky and exciting. The romance is sweet and sexy and there's enough MC action and danger to keep it interesting. The club is coming together in a good way and I love this brotherhood and the crazy women. Worth the read! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Lynn and Zephyr were a breath of fresh, hilarious air in this series. I’m sure that the drama and danger and things that go boom are coming in the next book, but Winter sure did use this story to keep me guessing (and laughing). These two managed to avoid the pitfalls of so many couples and even their fights were funny because of Zephyr’s ability to take Lynn’s stress away from her while letting her believe she’s in control.

Lynn desperately needs to hand some of her worries to someone else, and Zephyr is just the man to take them. Hes all in, even if she doesn’t think he is, and he’s not about to let her work herself into the ground for everyone around her anymore. And if that means hanging out with her crazy father and getting some horrendously funny pranks played with him as a casualty of mirth, then he’s fine with that. And once Lynn realizes that it’s not all on her anymore, she can finally breathe and relax a little. She and Zephyr had a fun ride to happiness and they’d better both enjoy this respite from the mess that outside forces are pushing onto the MC. Because I think we have quite a ride coming our way soon!

Lynn oh man my heart just went out for her. She really had a tough time and taking care of everyone and not taking care of herself really took a toll on her. But she just kept on and never leaning on others. But Zephyr was just the one who took that need to control everything and everyone from her and he was the only one who could take her stresses away.

I loved that Zephyr was all in, even though in previous books he didn’t seem like the one who would want to take on any responsibilities. I loved their back and forth banter, I loved the crazy dad and the hilarious pranks. . I have to say that Lynn and Zephyr definitely was a good match. Where she was the focused and driven one he was the opposite but they definitely complimented each other 😊

This book didn’t have much MC drama in it, but I can definitely see the action coming soon especially with the ending. I am excited for the next book in this series. I hope it’s going to have lots of drama and action cause I am so ready for it 😊 ♥

Winter Travers never fails to give us perfect stories filled with all kinds of goodness, and Livin' on the Edge is absolutely no exception. It all starts with Lynn getting home after a hookup with Zephyr, and man she's not making things easy in the aftermath. He's so patient with our resident control freak & he gets on so well with her father who makes me laugh (the 70's party outfit) that he's perfect in my eyes. He knows that Lynn is his, so no matter what she dishes out, he takes it with a grain of salt so it makes for one hell of an entertaining journey. If they aren't enough, the secondaries definitely had me rolling (there's a prank that almost had me wetting my pants from laughing so hard) as they only added to the story in amazing ways, men & women. I'm telling you that you don't want to miss out on this story filled with heat, humor, and shenanigans with a tad of suspense to round it out, all the way to the end with a tease for the next book in this series AND I CANNOT WAIT! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Loved this couple! After a childhood where she had to grow up too quickly, Lynn has lived her adult life very structured and focused on her career. Zephyr is the complete opposite for her, throwing a wrench in her plans by trying to take away the stresses in her life and take some of the load off of her. She struggles to let Zephyr help her while he is confused as to why it’s hard for her to do so. The dynamic between these two was great, between their witty banter and Lynn not knowing what to do when Zephyr took over, it became quite comical. This book didn’t focus on much drama within the MC, but it definitely alluded to something larger between the previous books and Lynn’s sister. I would classify this book as a filler book just because nothing dramatic happened, but it also gave some backstory and understanding for the next book in the series with the cliffhangers at the end. I can’t wait to see what happens!

The author gave us an exciting, well written MC romance that is a perfect fit with the Kings of Vengeance Series. She gave us romance, thrills, action and humor, all written with her flair for words. We not only got to meet up with all the brothers, but we got another fun night with the ol’ ladies and the “Book Club” and of course the renovations of the Funeral Home.

Lynn and Zephyr are basically total opposites in every way. But sometimes that is just what people need. They share one fantastic drunken night. That was supposed to be the end of it, well at least for Lynn. She has too much going on in her life to deal with a steady man. But Zephyr has other ideas, including helping out with her hilarious father and troubled sister.

This is a very good read that I highly recommend. (the series too, if you haven’t started it, it’s a must). The author kept me smiling, laughing and happy throughout - even during the crazy times.

Love the Kings of Vengeance series, it just gets better with each book! Livin’ on the Edge is book six and with it we get Lynn & Zephyr’s story. Lynn has spent years looking after others and her life is nothing but stress both at home & at work so when life throws a handsome, gorgeous biker curveball named Zephyr her way she doesn’t know how to let him in and help her shoulder some of the load. Fortunately Zephyr seems to know exactly what Lynn needs & does everything he can to help her take a step back and find a way to enjoy life a lot more! Of course it wouldn’t be a Winter Travers book without some laughter sprinkled throughout and she definitely delivers that in spades, gotta love the ladies & their “Book Club”. It’s not all fun and games though as things start to heat up with more club drama so can’t wait for Brick’s book next!

This is the 6th book in this phenomenal series and is Zephyr and Lynn’s journey. Lynn has been dealt a tough hand in life, and she carries the weight of the world on her shoulders with stress from work and her home life. Zephyr and Lynn have what she thinks is a 1-night stand, but he has other ideas, as he is subtle in the way in which he is determined to take some of the stress off her and shoulder some of her burdens without her realizing that he is. These two may be complete opposites, but they compliment each other perfectly. I love the ladies of the MC and their book club shenanigans. This is a well written flawless story which is sweet, entertaining, and with witty banter, emotions, and love which all leads to a humorous and fun read. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

"Living on the Edge" is more than just the title of the story. Lynn's life is all about the edge: a recovering addict for a father who was absentee for the better part of 12 years, a sister who has completely dropped off the face of the earth, a medical practice that has more patients than hours in the day, and a heart that gives so much there is just not anything left. Stress, tension and nerves are all Lynn has until Zephyr sneaks his way under her guard. But will he be the one to convince her that life is about more than just what she deals with daily? Will his more laid-back and easy-going attitude invite the changes she needs to make in order to survive? Will Lynn give over her control OCD to balance her needs and her desires?

Another amazing addition to the Kings of Vegeance Mc Livin on the edge is book six and can be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend that you read them in order to better fall for the characters and not run into some spoilers . I really liked Lynn and Zephyr they are perfect for one another they really balanced each other plus the chemistry was off the hook intense . This series is fast becoming one of my favorites by Winter Travers she has to be one of my favorite story tellers the characters are all likable even though at times you might hate them they still find a way into your heart also the story line just draws you in never a boring moment I eat every word and can't wait for more .

Oh Livin on The Edge

Livin on the Edge is book Six in Travers Kings of Vengeance series. Hats off to Winter for another fun loving story. This is Zephyr's and Lynn's story and its oh so good. Lynn is a over worked therapist who has to help everyone. Zephyr is a alpha biker who just wants Lynn's time. Overall this is a great addition to Kings of Vengeance, seriously anytime I read a Travers book I know I will be in tears of laughter. Her books are good for my soul. Walter was a great addition to this story with his wig, his seventies style and his pranking ideas. The Book Club makes some crazy appearances which I absolutely loved. Just remember this book starts were Thrill Seeker left off. So I highly recommend reading Kings of Vengeance in order. Happy Reading!!

This series is quite a lot of fun, while keeping US on the edge! What will happen w/ the rival club? What's going on w/ some of the continuing story lines? I need more NOW! :D

Along w/ that, Zephyr & Lynn's relationship blooms during their story. They start out as just a one night stand, or so Lynn thinks. Zephyr, however, is intrigued by her & wades right into her family drama. As he's deciding to be the one she leans on, she's trying to figure out why he wants to be her knight in shining leather.

I love the way they interact with each other, and how things start to shake out w/ the family. Her dad is quite the character! And the way Zephyr breaks down Lynn's walls is sweet in that biker kinda way.

This story has so much sweetness, sass, humor and steam that I just wanted to keep reading! Zephyr is totally the alpha male who wants his ladies time as much as he wants to protect her. He wants to be there to help lighten the weight of the world on her shoulders. Lynn is beautiful and sassy, but she’s vulnerable too. She just wants to fix everything and everyone. These two are the perfect combination of love and forever!! You need to read this book for the creamer, the pizza, the coffin and the book club alone. Can I deliver a pizza to Zephyr because that would be quite the treat? Now I want to Live on the Edge with Zephyr, so I can be his darlin forever!!!

I absolutely loved this latest book in the Kings of Vengeance series!!! The sparks flew the first time Zephyr and Lynn met and they share one hot night together. Zephyr is a love em and leave em type of guy but something is different about Lynn and he wants to spend more than one night with her. Lynn isn't interested in a relationship, she doesn't have time for that but there is something about Zephyr that she can't shake. Zephyr is ready to show Lynn that he can be the man she needs and deserves and someone she can depend on. I absolutely loved their story, I was hooked from beginning to end. I laughed, cried and swooned throughout the story. I can't wait for the next book in this amazing series...well done!!!

Zephyr and Lynn

One night became a future. She didn't plan on a future with him. She'd been the head of the house for so many years. Her job made her clients hers to take care of. How would she let a man in who just wanted to take care of her?

Another winner by a winning author with all of what MC fans need and more. He's a special kind of guy and sees her for what she is. It may not have been in his plans but she was what he wanted and Kings always get what they want.

Series fans will enjoy The Book Club, their handling of her father, and their men. The club, of course, has some enemies to deal with, and let us not forget plenty of steam. The lead in to the next book will leave you panting for more,

Zephyr is quite content keeping his romantic relationships casual and keeping his focus on the MC and his brothers or at least he was until one night with Lynn has him second guessing that plan.

Lynn doesn’t have the time or energy for a relationship as she is focused on making things as stress free for those around as she can. The one night she spent with Zephyr was a respite from her normal life but that is all she has to give.

When you combine one independent woman determined to forge her own path with one alpha male determined to be there the sparks are going to the fly and the outcome is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Livin’ on the Edge is the sixth title in the Kings of Vengeance MC series and features Zephyr and Lynn. It’s a fast paced, engaging and entertaining read, sprinkled with Winter Travers’ signature brand of humor throughout.

Zephyr was quite the surprise and quite different to what I expected. He’s a protective, caring alpha hero. Lynn had a difficult childhood and had to grow up way too soon, and whilst she’s a caretaker, she also struggles to give up control and allow others to make their own mistakes, and make her life easier.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed this title, it left me with more questions than answers and I look forward to Brick’s story next.

I am really enjoying this series! In what I have come to expect from Winter Travers, we get some funny bits, ok more than a few bits, hot naughty moments (super steamy), some drama and some realness. This is low on the MC danger stuff, but the last story was super full of it, and this was more setting the stage for the next book coming up, so we know the next story will be on fire! I loved everything about Zephyr and Lynn. Lynn, who you expect to have it all together given her profession, but no, she is just as crazy and messed up as the rest of us. Lynn's dad was a great added character and I hope we see more of him in the future. I give this 4 stars.

Livin' On the Edge by W. Travers is book six in the Kings of Vengeance MC Series.
While the main-storyline spans through all of the books, every book is a bout another couple. For best reading experience I recommend to read the books in order, there are lots of cross-overs.
Lynn is a therapist witha complicated relationship to her family.
Zephyr is kind of a loner, even when he's a member of the Kings of Vengeance.
He's very drawn to Lynn and doesn't give up. He's a bit like a puppy with a bone. A big scary puppy. He knows what he wants and how to get it.
Fast paced, action packed story, unputdownable, 4,5 stars.
