Scooby-Doo is an 'Ameri-canine' icon, the most beloved cartoon pooch of the past 3 generations. Scooby is in the midst of a huge popularity boom, with new TV episodes and a live-action movie on video.

Scooby and the gang are at Craggy Mountain Camp for the summer -- as camp counselors! The gang is having a blast roasting marshmallows by the fire and telling spooky stories to all the campers (of course, no one is more scared of those spooky stories than Shaggy and Scooby!). But then the Bigfoot monster from Velma's favorite story starts appearing at the camp! Is Bigfoot for real? It's up to the kids from Mystery, Inc to find out!

Jesse Leon McCann is an American comic book and children's book author. He wrote most of the stories for the Pinky and the Brain comic series, edited two out of the four Simpsons episode guides, and wrote all of the Smiley the Psychotic Button comics for Chaos! Comics. McCann's Shrek II movie adaptation novel made the New York Times Best Selling Children's Book list in 2005. While McCann mostly scribes comic books and children's books, he has written for a variety of genres in different forms (such as the Austin Powers trivia game).

A fun read that could have easily been a tale from the original TV series. The man in the mask had a few options and there was a decent mystery trying to figure it out. Highly recommended for any fan of the world's best detective dog (sorry MacGruff).

This was the one that I saw the cover wanted to read it then never actually read it. This book was a good book but I liked the other four much more than this one I didn't think there was enough action in it.

This is a fairly typical Scooby-Doo story, taking the gang to a mountain campground. This is a good picture book, with a short narrative and lots of colorful, action-filled illustrations. The mystery wasn't too difficult, nor was it very scary. I purchased this for our youngest for her birthday and we enjoyed reading it together. We donated this book to our local library after we read it.
