What’s on the menu at the Sunny Side Up Café? Murder…
When Sunny Charles’ aunt comes back from her vacation, Sunny couldn’t be happier. Aunt Rita will take over and relieve all the pressure. No more dealing with mean customers, or worrying about when the air-conditioner will go on the fritz, or whether a local food vlogger is about to drop dead in the middle of the café.
At least, that’s what she thinks. Things never go to plan in Parfait, and when the dead body of her aunt’s worst enemy turns up on the beach, everybody’s convinced that Aunt Rita had a lot to do with it. That includes the ever-suspicious detective in town. With strange figures following Sunny and a threat that might mean she’s got more to worry about than just one murder mystery, Sunny’s determined. She won’t let her aunt take the fall for a crime she didn’t commit.
Can she solve the mystery before it’s too late? Find out in the fourth installment of the Sunny Side Up Cozy Mystery series.

I enjoyed the latest adventure in the Sunny Side Up Cozy Mystery having a solid whodunit that had all the elements I love. A good storyline, a great cast of characters, engaging dialogue, and an atmosphere of camaraderie. After returning from her long vacation on a cruise, Aunt Rita is back at the café and believing everything is normal when her worst enemy’s body turns up dead on the beach. Gossip starts and people are sure that Aunt Rita is the murderer. Sunny knows that isn’t true and begins to investigate. As she compiles her list of suspects, she gets more and more confused on who could have done this. Join Sunny as she eliminates her suspects from the list. The narrative is great, setting the scene and helping to further develop the characters’ personalities. The mystery itself is twofold, the murder and Sunny trying to become a member of the Baking Biddies. Why doesn’t the Baking Biddies like Sunny? That is a mystery to her. The investigation is filled with pitfalls, unexpected twists, multiple motives and surprises that keep you glued right to the end. As the story progresses, sparks start to fly between Sunny and Nick.

This was a disappointing read. It wasn’t disappointing due to Point’s writing, rather who the murderer ended up being. I really liked the character. Oh well, even seemingly nice people can be killers.
Sunny’s aunt Rita is finally back from her month long cruise and was a primary suspect in this book. For this reason and, of course Sunny’s love of solving mysteries, Sunny took to being the investigator of the case. Sunny confronted a particular person and told him straight out that she knew he killed Gwendoline. This caused the man to take out a restraining order on Sunny. Rightly so, because she was practically stalking the man trying to obtain information about the murder.
I like Point’s books and have read one of her other series about a baker sleuth that was cute. The towns are always small towns and the characters are lovable.
Sunny is becoming more attracted to the chef, Nick, but is trying her best to avoid him when possible so she doesn’t have to act on the attraction. It’s obvious Nick likes Sunny, too. My hope is that in the next few books in this series she and Nick end up frequently dating and maybe even marrying!
Next book is the 5th in this series - Lemon Murder Pie
When Sunny Charles’ aunt comes back from her vacation cruise, Sunny is all set to relax and turn it all over to Aunt Rita. No more anxiety, no more grouchy customers, no more worries about faulty equipment. It feels like a dream come true!
Plans never go as we expect, however, and when the dead body of her aunt’s worst enemy – Gwendoline Meyer, whom she had confronted the night before at the Baking Biddies club meeting to let Sunny join – is found dead on the beach, it seems Aunt Rita becomes the prime suspect and the first one the always suspicious Detective Garcia questions. There could also be something else going on because Sunny is being followed. Is this related to the murder too? But Sunny is back on the case to prevent her aunt from being arrested falsely. Can she solve the mystery? Will she ever get to relax?
Sunny is beginning to feel a real part of the cafe and the town. Her new dog and her aunt Rita’s cat are quite a pair. The friendly young couple next door even gets along with the cat
But not all is peaceful. Aunt Rita is arguing for Sunny to get another chance at auditioning for the Baking Biddies. Gwendolyn rules the group with an iron fist
Trouble leaves Rita in hot water, and too many suspects once again
Can Sunny and her Aunt get to the bottom of the mysteries unharmed? Are Sunny and Nick a thing?
There’s always something up at the Sunnyside Up Cafe

Sunny is settling in at Parfait, Florida. Her Aunt Rita has just returned from a cruise. Gwendoline Meyer is found dead on the beach and in this small community everybody knows everybody else's business. So the town knows that Aunt Rita had a shouting match with Gwen the night before. The police have Aunt Rita as their prime suspect and Sunny is determined to find the real culprit. Join in as she tracks down clues and pieces together who could or couldn't be a suspect and who would have a motive. A thoroughly enjoyable cozy mystery. Check out the rest of the series. You won't be disappointed.
Aunt Rita has finally returned from her cruise after a month. And the murders continue. This time the head of the Baking Biddies is found washed up on the beach. The prime suspect Aunt Rita. Sunny spends her time trying to prove her aunts' innocence, but all of her suspects keeping ending up with an alibi for the time of the murder.
Did Aunt Rita really commit the murder? If not, who did the crime? Will Sunny get accepted into the Baking Biddies? Why would she want to be in that snobby club? Will Sunny ever get together with Nick? And was nasty Gwendoline really going to get married and to whom?
Sunny is finding her groove with her Aunt Rita by her side. So when her aunt is considered a prime suspect in the latest murder of the head of the Baking Biddies, Sunny has to find a way to ingratiate herself with those biddies for information to hopefully clear her aunt's name. With a long list of suspects that all seem to have alibis and a romance of the victim no one knew about, Sunny needs to weed through what's real and what's not. Sadly, this may be the second to the last in this series.

Aunt Rita is back from her cruise and Sunny is so happy that she is back. But she isn't too happy that she went to Gwendoline to get Sunny another chance to join the Baking Buddies. Sunny isn't ready, but things are already set in motion. Soon after Aunt Rita tells her of the meeting, Gwedoline's body is washed up on the beach. Now, Aunt Rita is the prime suspect even though the list is long. Can Sunny solve this murder? There is a lot of things riding of Sunny finding the real killer and why. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
I really love it now that Aunt Rita's back in Parfait to run the cafe. She's a hoot how she easily gave her blessing to investigate and let Sunny take off--but her name was on the line this time for killing the meanest woman in town. It was fun to see Didi going along with Sunny to investigate. Sunny was always worried that Didi was too young, but hey, you gotta start somewhere!
I didn't start suspecting whodunit until Sunny had the idea. The showdown was exciting, and I think Rita and Sunny may have a new friend/fan after saving someone's life. On to borrow the next when it comes out!
I got a be honest - Sunny’s a pretty terrible sleuth! Lol! She’s always running off and accusing someone of murder that isn’t the murderer! No wonder Garcia is always so annoyed when she gets involved - however well intentioned.
She seemed to be a bit of an airhead in this book. I mean she couldn’t even make coffee for people correctly because her mind was always wandering to her murder book and the clues she had and didn’t have.
I knew her and Nick would end up together at some point!

The author has taken us back to Parfait, Florida to visit with our friends and to meet some new ones. When Aunt Rita returns from her cruise, Sunny believes that life will settle down. However, when a murder takes place and Aunt Rita is the accused, what is Sunny supposed to do? Sit back and twiddle her thumbs?

Sunny is helping out her Aunt while she is on a cruise. When she comes back, a murder occurs and everyone is looking at her because of their animosity. Sunny is determined to find out who really did it before her Aunt gets sent away for good. The characters and the storyline are terrific, with lots of situations and clues to figure out. Loved the Baking Biddies side story. Great ending.

Another great Sunny book! The ending to this latest book was a huge surprise! This one never crossed my mind. The combination of caring amateur young woman sleuth, loyal family and friends, small beach town, a little romance and a lot of mystery make this book a great cozy mystery! It’s a stand-alone book, but I suggest that you go back to the first book in the series and get to know Sunny!
Back from vacation, Rita is already a suspect in the murder of a woman no one really seemed to like just because they argued. Sunny’s investigation turns up more than a few suspects, but she rules them out just as quickly as she comes up with them….even though she’s been told to stay out of it...eventually confronting the real killer.
Rosie does a fantastic job writing her cozy mysteries. The story line has mystery, suspense, a bit of humor and of course murder. The characters are entertaining and you enjoy getting to know them. Can you solve the mystery of who dun it before you reach the end? Grab your copy today and find out!

Enjoyed reading the penultimate book in the series. This was a fast paced page turner with plenty of action. When a prominent figure is murdered, Sunny's aunt is a suspect. Where will Sunny's investigation lead? Every thing looks bleak. A very intriguing mystery with lots of twists.
Another great entry in the sunny side up cozy mystery series. A body washes up in the beach and of course Aunt Rita argued with the woman the night before so of course the police consider her a person of interest. Sunny investigates the case with the help of Aunt Rita and they finally get the lead they need and figure it out. Looking forward to the next adventure.
Sunny's aunt Rita is back from vacation but right after her return Gwen an enemy is found murdered on the beach and detective Torres has Rita as the prime suspect. Sunny is chasing down suspects and elimanating them as she finds their alibies. Good reading with a little romance thrown in.
Another awesome book in this series. It was great to get to know Aunt Rita. I can’t wait to see what adventures & mischief Sunny and her friends get into in the next book.
Captivating story full of twists and excitement as Sunny tries to clear her aunts name. Lots of characters and an easy to read style of writing, animal antics give a fun factor. Loving the series
