A Collection of Deep and Nuanced Musings on the Divine
Falling into All details the essence of knowing, and the seeking out of truth, inspired by the author's study of spiritual teachings across cultures and the ages.
Falling into All was written in the morning quiet, meditated on, and is sprung from words always stirring within the heart of the poet, and now ready for the world. The words within are meant to be shared, to encourage others to look inside themselves, and to open a way to understanding beauty and truth, so it may spread to all who seek it.
Do you have a spiritual artist in your heart?
Are you seeking to be closer to a higher sense of Self?
Open the pages, awaken your mind, and fall into the waiting divine.
Ben Teeter was born in Washington D.C. and raised in Maryland, amidst the blended cultures of his dad’s old Appalachian ways of tough work and nature’s beauty, and his mom’s more jolly family life of prosperous, rural Americana. Due to close proximity, he also experienced the expanded and vibrant cultural mix of life in the D.C. beltway, which helped to influence his perspective of the larger world.
From a young age, he held a love for writing, but his passion and connection to the art truly came alive while attending John Hopkins University, from which he received a full scholarship.
It was there, among his fellow poets and in the midst of the late 1960s cultural shifts, that his focus moved to the spiritual, metaphysical and transcendental. From there he began his life-long pursuit of searching for deep wisdom and understanding.
In the years that followed, Ben spent his days working with his hands, building and reflecting, raising a family, and letting the words in his heart come to the surface in the quite morning hours. He seeks to make connections and encourage others to search out deep knowledge and to reach for the Divine in one’s self and the universe. From this came his poetry collection, Falling into All.
Falling into all is a poetry book containing a collection of musings and lyrical sayings influenced by spiritual teachings across cultures. The poems can be used as quotations and prompts. They embody elements that could assist in refocusing life on yourself.
Those who are into meditation, self-reflecting, and overall enjoy works that provoke the mind will find this book helpful. I would have appreciated a little more organized way or different formatting for how the poems were presented, but that didn’t take me away from enjoying the experience.
“My self I make A perfect Prayer And rise up To the Throne And sit there long And sit there All Along.”
The literature is lyrical but not necessarily rhymed. There weren’t many illustrations or sideline drawings with the poems. The cover design of the book was beautiful and reflected the content of the book. The author has created a nice collection of poems. I look forward to reading more from him.
This book has a mix of beautifully written poetry and spiritual motivation. It’s a wonderful book to pull out for a variety of feelings and reasons. Many of them easily spoke to me as I read them. One that spoke to me today was “There is within you a unique way to be divine, for you alone to find.” I find it powerful because as we got through so many crazy changes, it’s important to refocus on yourself. These are also great prompts I’d say for inner reflection, meditation, or even journal. They’re very well throughout and well versed. Overall, a beautiful set of work.
