When my twin and I started this competition, we had no idea what we were getting into. Not only did we both end up falling for the prince, but we also discovered we might be more than Fae phonies after all.
Now that Drake knows the real identity of our father, will he be able to forgive us so we can discover the truth of our heritage? Doubtful.
And even if he does, will the king’s council ever let Drake choose his own wife? Doubly doubtful.
With a murderer still on the loose, the lesser Fae rioting, and the competition coming to an end, tensions quickly escalate in the palace and my twin takes matters into her own hands, making a decision that changes everything.
The chaos reigning in the Spring Court is no match for the turmoil in my heart because the biggest question still remains…
G.K. De Rosa has been an avid reader from a very young age. In fact, before she could even read, she tried fooling everyone into thinking that she could. At the precocious age of two, while living in Italy, she had memorized an entire children’s book in Italian and expertly turned the pages at the exact right moments of the story. As she grew up, she always enjoyed literature, no doubt having been instilled with a love of story telling from her early years in Catholic school where she was greatly influenced by exemplary teachers who taught her the value of English and Literature. Though she did not pursue writing in college and instead went for the more traditional route of International Business inspired by her love for travel and all things foreign, after a move to New York City, she found her creative writing side calling once again. She began writing a restaurant review blog, City Lights and Tasty Bites, detailing her other passion – food! The hectic hustle and bustle of the city, combined with long commuting times gave her the opportunity to spend more time reading and rekindled a lost love. After reading countless books in many diverse genres over the two years in New York City, and returning to her home state of Florida, she felt compelled to write something for herself. She had always felt particularly drawn to Young Adult novels and having been an eternal romantic at heart, a fantasy romance was a natural choice. She currently lives in South Florida with her real life Prince Charming and their fur baby, Nico the German Shepherd.
8 million stars. What a ride. The conclusion to this series was even better than I expected. GK Derosa is one of my favorite authors and I can easily say this is one of my favorite books from her!! I love the world building of Azar, and even though I'm sad this series is over, I can't wait for the next series that takes place in the same world!
The conclusion to Royally Hitched was even better than I could have imagined!
**** Minor spoilers for book 2 below; this is a review of book 3 ****
Drake made his choice at the end of book 2, and I loved that he stuck to that. There was enough external conflict going on that there didn't need to be any more conflict between the twins, especially since neither ever wanted to hurt the other. Of course, the twin who was not Drake's love had to deal with her heartbreak, and there was still the fated mate mark to deal with. The court intrigue is so well done, and seeing Drake fight for what he wanted was so compelling! I loved the in-all-consuming love side of him, and of the one he chose, too! But don't worry! The other twin gets her happily ever after as well, which I was super happy about. I did not see the twist coming, and I LOVED it.
Praise to G.K.Derosa for this Royally Hitched series. I was truly sucked into this world & I truly fell in love with the depth of these characters. I read a lot of fantasy & Supernatural series as anything connected to fantasy are my favourite genres. But this series just had that extra something else and I believe that is this authors incredible writing, creative and original ability to keep you totally hooked until the very end. It keeps you constantly on your toes with all the twists and turns, with all the unexpected plots. Not only did this final book wrap up all those lingering threads throughout the series, it also had an incredibly shocking finish, which I thought was brilliant. G.K.Derosa has undoubtedly become one of my favourite authors, hands down, no competition. The worlds she develops leave no doubt of reality or realism, then the emotions will have you laughing, crying or worried beside every character as you wait with bated breath. I always feel like I’ve had to much caffeine or a shot of adrenaline as I start a new series of hers, which is very inconvenient when I want to sleep as my heart is beating way to fast and my mind whirls a hundred miles a minute as I race through every chapter, and I’ve realised what my problem is, it all occurs because Im desperate to find out what happens next. So all I can say as I don’t like leaving spoilers is don’t deprive yourself of such an prodigious series that will overwhelm you with surprise and wonder as your worlds collide leaving you not knowing which is yours for a blissful time. However it’s not all frilly dresses there are devastating, brutal & insecure times for most of the contestants on the Royally Hitched show as behind the scenes so many truths and lies can destroy you.
Arabella, Tempest and Winter Court Prince Drake are somewhat stuck. All three have been marked with the Fated Mate symbols, something not seen in Faery for centuries.
Just as Drake had decided which twin to choose, he discovered their parentage: Garrix, who was also father to his only love, Luna, and Kimmie Jayne from Hitched.
Now Drake doesn’t know if he loves Tempest because of herself, the Fated Mate symbol, or because she reminds him of his one true love, Luna. On top of that, there is still an assassin running about trying to kill Drake and some of the girls, namely the twins.
What a great ending to the trilogy this was! I have been so in love with all of the author’s books that crossed over - Hitched, Darkblood Academy, and Royally Hitched. I also loved seeing the Supernatural Slayer Squad get together to fight for justice one more time!
My only regret is the same one I had from the first series, Hitched. Then Prince Elrian gave up his one true love in Kimmie Jayne in order to save the Winter Court. Elrian was my favorite, and the scene in which he gave her up is still one of the most poignant in recent memory. I am so sad that he is left, still, with no one, while everyone around him has found their soulmate.
I pray to all the gods the author will consider a love match for King Elrian in the future. A real one!
The good news is that a new spinoff series will be released in August!
This is a fantabulous series, one that I have really enjoyed and can just pick up and reread anytime! It’s all based in an exciting world and is so addictive you will not be able to put it down! It’s intriguing and emotional, it’s exciting and fun, steamy and so action packed that it will leave you breathless and that twist at the end was not expected at all but was A very fitting Ending! Definitely a winner!
Drake know knows who Tempest and Arabella's father is and for him the betrayal runs deep. There's still more to their lineage though and if can be proven things will change. The assassin is close and things are unraveling. This book tied up the story for the ice prince and the twins nicely. There were a lot of plot twists, but the author worked through them seamlessly to produce an excellent ending. I'd love to see more books in this realm. I volunteered to read this book.
2 & 1/2 stars rounded up. Dang, I wish I hadn't wasted my time with this series & that I could get my time back, this really left a bad taste in my mouth. This just didn't feel as organic, but more forced, than the previous 2 series. The fact that there were less options for the audience to like for the contestants, & that it didn't feel legitimate "love" between the 3 characters, let alone for me to just like 2 of the 3 main characters in this series. I still hate Drake & I still hate Tempe. They really deserved each other in thee end. I still feel sorry for Bella, though I'm glad she ended up with Brock for her own HEA. The whole mate mark thing was a disaster for this series IMO. It really made the whole relationship building seem fake and only based on the mate mark reaction. If they didn't have it, would they still have felt the same about each other (when Bella gets hers removed, you definitely see the difference)? I also think the love triangle forced on the twins & Drake thru the 3 book series was a sort of torture for the reader, not only was I torn up over who he would choose, I was torn up over the damage to the twins' relationship with each other over the triangle, when twins historically have a much closer relationship than any other siblings normally have. I totally did not appreciate the direction this series took. I also did not like the blurb for the next series, for the daughter of Ryder & Luna. I'm definitely out (not continuing on) for that spin-off. I'm just done...
*All of my reviews are voluntarily written* CONTAINS SPOILERS!!! You may not want to read unless you've finished this book!
It's always wonderful when you find a series you can really delve into. It's always sad and emotional when that series comes to an end. This series is in that particular category. I don't know what it is about this author's writing, but she always pulls me in and I can't put the book down until I'm done. Usually it takes me less than 24 hours to finish one of her books. I can't get enough!
This book was no exception! I loved how everything wrapped up, and I love the epilogues she usually writes to give readers even more closure. We finally see some closure with Tempest, Arabella, and Drake. I certainly wasn't expecting some of the curve balls that happened. I was especially sad to see what happened with one of my favorite characters. I understand why - it acted as a fuel for the story line, if you will.
I love how Elrian finally got to redeem himself a bit in his story arc and kind of find peace, or maybe it was more me feeling like he found some peace with himself?
I can't wait to see what else this author comes up with! I'm a fan for life!

Oh Wow, Wow, Wow. That is one Wow for each of the three books in this series. I finished book three last night. I read all three in four nights and what a rollercoaster ride it has been.
These books are so well written (but then aren't they always when the have the name GK DeRosa on them?). The character were believable, even if they were fae, and I warmed to so many of them, but disliked some too. The storyline was great, and read like a cross between Love Island and The Hunger Games, with 12 girls trying to win the hand of the handsome prince by undergoing different trials. During these seemingly innocent trials they could get killed, and a couple did, and no one would be punished for the killing, in fact it got them through to the next round. At the beginning ten of the twelve girls would have given their right arm to marry Prince Drake, Heir to the Spring Court and Prince of the Winter Court. Tempest and Arabella, the twins wanted nothing more that to get out and go home to their mother in the human world. However as we all know love is a fickle thing and can't always be won in a game, the heart often has a say in things and both Bella and Temp start to have feelings for Drake and he for both of them - oh oh the dreaded love triangle. Apart from the game, trials and the hearts of these three there is much more going on. The lesser fae have had enough of being treated badly by the Royals of all four courts and have begun a rebellion, they are well armed and seeming well organised with spies inside the palace. There are battle fought, and also they seem to have something personal against Prince Drake as there are several attempts on his life, and also a plot to get him put in jail for the murder of his former father in law, the King of the Spring Court. But is this really the elves that are trying to kill him? Will Drake make his mind up between the twins or will he bow down to political pressure and marry another of the ladies to secure arms and wealth for the Spring Court? I know what happens, I found out at 2.45am this morning as I couldn't put down the book until I had finished it. However I am not telling, you will have to get the books. You won't be sorry
Arabella, Tempest, and Drake are stuck in a triangle since all three are marked with the Fated Mate symbol. We know who Drake has chosen, but the mark makes things that much more difficult for them. Not to mention the king's counsel who wants to pick Drake's bride themselves. With the rebels knocking on the doors and a murderer still on the loose, it's hard for any of them to feel completely safe let alone focus on a relationship.
After Drake finds out about the identity of the twins' father, he doesn't know if he can trust them. It's harder since their sister is his ex and he's worried that he just sees her in them. But when the Supe Slayer Squad lends him assistance on the murder suspect, Drake is steered into the right direction. Tempest and Arabella's bond is strained by the emotions the mark elicits, but they'll need each other to overcome the trials ahead, especially after they discover their true heritage.
As the trilogy draws to an end, relationships will be tested, lives will be risked, and everything is for the sake of a peaceful Spring Court. I don't want to give away any spoilers but main I am so satisfied with how everything ends. The ending is a twist I didn't see coming and I love it. Drake is still as amazing as ever, Tempest is her fiery self, and Arabella wants what's best for everyone. I love how these characters grow, but don't change the foundation of who they are.
Final Verdict: I would recommend this to fans of fae, witches, warlocks, fantasy, romance, and politics.
>Book Review – Royally Hitched: The Fae Princess >I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 3rd and final in the Dark Fae series and ends in an HEA. Drake, Bella and Tempest find themselves as all fated mates. I wish the book explained how that could have happened a bit better. Drake is unsure of his feelings due to love for Luna. Tempest and Bella are both willing to sacrifice their happiness for the other. >The scenes with the Supernatural Slayer Squad back in action were really fun. The heat factor in this book is really not for the young adult. Bella and Tempest’s HEA’s really satisfying. I wanted Drake to take charge of himself and his feelings more, but he was portrayed as an unfeeling fae in the beginning. There is lots of drama and political intrigue. One poignant scene exposes Drake to a poor family and how they live. More such scenes would have benefitted the story. The Fae kingdom was secretive, seeing the less than perfect side of the kingdom would have made the realm more relatable. >This book is appropriate for a new adult (17+) audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. I would have loved a scene, as a dream or thought, of Drake’s feeling during his marriage ceremony to Miranda.
This series is delightful, with unexpected twists, intense emotions, and satisfying conclusions for both twins. If you're in the mood for a binge-worthy series that will keep you captivated, look no further than this one.
One lingering concern I have about the deception presented in the show is the portrayal of the twins' mother as their aunt. Does this imply they will perpetually live in deceit within the Fae community?
Otherwise, did I miss the clarification of their lineage, where Garrix was acknowledged as their father and the 'aunt' as their mother? Notably, Garrix handed over Tempest during the wedding ceremony, but whether he attended with his actual face or others was not clarified.
I'm disappointed I missed Bella's wedding. I secretly hoped a new fae mate mark would appear for Bella and her husband. Oh well, it is what it is. I still enjoyed the entire story. Great work, author! Now I'm off to read the fourth series set in the world of Azar, the Supernatural Prison Squad Series.
I have read all of DeRosas other series and truly enjoyed the characters and the world building. The Hitched series had such rich characters and I felt so invested in them. In this series I didn’t feel like the characters were as well developed but Tempest was just downright unlikable. She was incredibly selfish and put Drake before her sister at every turn. Knowing that Bella was stuck in that situation and was suffering and yet she barely gave 5 minutes to her. Her sister was in a coma and she was too worried about spending the night with Drake to be that bothered by it.
We were supposed to be bought in on Drake and Tempest being fated mates but they really had very little in common except they are both alcoholics? The author really pushed them being addicted to the wine as if that was a common denominator. I don’t know, I just wasn’t really a big fan of this series. I think the first book was really good but it went down hill.
One of the things I loved about this trilogy, especially this last book, was that there were enough twists and turns that I didn't see coming, piped in with enough I did to make it great fun and enjoyable reading. I loved the first 2 books, and they were funny and entertaining, but there was also plenty of drama and some omigosh moments. This book carried the same thing, and I was laughing out loud and nearly crying at some of the things that happened. It's been a great ride. I have not read the previous books to this series in the Hitched world, so I think it's time to get some insight into where some of the characters came from. I think these can be read without it, as it's understandable, but I suspect the characters are probably better understood with more of the historical information. Highly recommended!!
Royally Hitched: The Fae Princess is book three in G.K. DeRosa’s latest series and wraps up the trilogy perfectly. I absolutely loved it. It was intriguing, heartbreaking, steamy, and totally satisfying.
The final book picks up soon after the events of book two, leaving Drake gobsmacked and spinning in the revelation of who the Fae twins really are, and whether he can get past it or not, despite the magical strings linking the three of them together. Add in the uprising of the lesser fae, an assassin out to kill him, the issues of winter court hanging over is head, the threat of losing the throne, and you’ve got one action-packed finale full of twists, revelations, and a love set to conquer it all.
I can wait to see what comes next in this magical universe G.K. DeRosa has created.
Yes! I loved the end of this series. I couldn’t have imagined it better myself ; ) Drake picked my favorite twin (I won’t give it away). Well, I liked them both, but this one just had the ice prince’s heart since the beginning. And I could also tell that someone else had eyes for the runner-up.
There were definitely some serious surprises in book three. Let me just say, Lord Wildrove was the worst. I knew he was evil, but I didn’t expect him to be that terrible of a person.
And the supe slayer squad made an appearance! I read DarkBlood Academy so I got a kick out of seeing the squad back together again. Drake also finally got some closure with Luna.
Another series is coming out in this world, and I’m already dying to read it!
Overall this was a mostly satisfying conclusion to our charming Prince Drake's story.
Everything gets resolved, and while some answers aren't exactly a surprise, it still made for a pretty good read.
I guess the reason this isn't a higher rating is that I still wasn't all that pulled into Drake's story. I adored him in Darkblood Academy, but then I also REALLY liked the main couple in that series (you know who I'm talking about).
Regardless, I'm happy Drake got his HEA - the guy needed it!
I also can't wait to be back in the world of Azar when Darkblood Prison drops.
Royally Hitched: The Fae Princess was literally everything I wanted and more!! There were so many unexpected things that happened and some of those were really sad but others left you absolutely speechless. When I first started the Royally Hitched series I had a favorite princess and I wanted her to win. No spoilers, but YAY!!!!!! It was well written and we were able to delve deeper into the "behind the scenes" stuff to see what was really going on and I couldn't have asked for a better ending. I loved this book!
Without giving anything away in this last book I can say the tales of love, conspiracy, danger, and passion continue to escalate with out characters. They remain larger than life and the mystery of who is trying to kill our lovely prince may not surprise many of you who have been following along. I can say it isn't the Lesser Fae.
DeRosa is a phenomenal story teller. Many times ongoing cliffhangers series start to drop away as do some sequels in the movies, but not here. I fully recommend her as a keeper for your library.
This series would be a fun TV show, "Fae Bachelor in Paradise" and it was a fun read. Drake deserved a happily ever after despite it not being the Fae way. Maybe Luna and her half sisters are showing Drake that there is more to life than duty and dedication . Assassination plots, Rebel uprisings and Fae women who all want to be queen, what could possibly go wrong? Everything of course and some get more than they bargained for.
This final book in the series held nothing back. There was plenty of snarky humor, a lot of cheesy romance, and an ending that made me realize that this world has so much more to offer. This book was packed with action, mystery, and heartache too. Enough light and dark for a perfect balance. I loved the developments of the plot and characters. It was smooth and flawless. I hope to see these guys again someday, if only in a cameo moment.
This is the final book in the Royally Hitched series and it was a fantastic ending. Drake has made his choice and Tempe and Bella both know it. I'm not gonna give away any of the many surprises and twists, but it is well worth reading the series. The Supe Slayer Squad makes an appearance also. This is a terrific series and I recommend it highly! I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
This wrapped up nicely for everyone involved. Drake and Tempest. Arabella and Brock. Change for the spring court. No more rebellion. I think the right couples ended up together. I'm glad that the culprit was identified. I also feel we came full circle with Garrix, Luna, Tempest, and Arabella.
We've encountered the winter court once again but I'm very curious to see if Elrian will get a second chance at love as his brother did.
I'd rate this more of a 3.5. It helped that drake had finally chosen who he wanted to be with and stuck by it. I enjoyed seeing him and Tempe together and their relationship. I was also glad bella got her happy ending as well.
If I'm being honest I probably wouldn't recommend reading this series. It was okay, but not my favorite. I felt it was a little long at times. It kept me reading, but it was more so I could say I finished the series than out of pure enjoyment.

Enjoyed this series which continues after Darkblood Academy. Drake finds his HEA with another half-blood, half-sister of the other 2 previous series set in this same realm. This does cause some issues when it’s discovered that the women he has fallen in love with are related (yeah, there is some creep factor there and it’s reviewed and dissected a bit in the series) but everything turns out okay in the end. It was nice to see Drake’s broken heart from the Darklood series work out to where he meets his true mate instead.
Wrapped up beautifully! I do wish there was a little more insight on why the three of them were marked for soulmates though. But it all worked out nicely. Be prepared for another tragic loss and this one you wont see coming. The discovery of the girls true origins is revealed and that is also very shocking. This was a fun series to read. Had a little bit of everything and kept things interesting the whole time.
A continuing story about a Fae Prince picking out a wife while making a TV show out of it. The contestants are supposed to be Fae but unknown to the Prince, some aren't. Prince Drake has some twins he favors, but who knows. But what is going on, some of the contestants are being killed. Why? The show must go on and he needs to pick one. Good story line, good book!
I really enjoyed this book and loved the characters and how they came together. I am glad that Drake finally found someone and glad Arabella wasn't in bad shape for long when she had that soulmate removed. Can't wait to see what will happen next for them.
