Nick and Nack are friends who love to hang out together and work together; Nick loves to make things, and Nack loves to find things. The two of them decide to make bubble wands to blow bubbles, and the reader has to help Nack find the objects needed, hidden on the pages. The vocabulary is all simple sight words, and the hidden objects make reading fun for reluctant readers.

Great level 1 reader. The series is great - recurring characters, cute simple story, built in hidden pictures, plus an optional crafts/art/science project you can do at the end of the book (related to the theme of the book). The projects at the end of this book lea you through how to make bubble wands using objects like straw, string, or pipe cleaners and beads. Clever series and my kids like them
