Seven Sisters #7

Beyond Seven Sisters

Rate this book

Heartbreak compelled Calpurnia Cottonwood to throw herself into the Mobile River, but her only friend refused to let her die.

After their escape from Seven Sisters, Muncie and Calpurnia flee to Haiti in hopes of finding peace and freedom. However, the journey isn’t an easy one and once again tragedy follows them.

On the island, the couple encounters a powerful priestess who is determined to raise the dead--after she adds Calpurnia to her undead army. Muncie embraces his former identity as he takes up the fight for Haiti and saves his friend from the Queen Pi, the voodoo queen who could end them all.

It’s Southern Gothic horror with a twist of Caribbean magic!

Beyond Seven Sisters is the finale episode of the original Seven Sisters series by M.L. Bullock.

Uplifting

I read this book just in the time I needed it most. Mrs Bullock you are truly talented in story telling. I am so sad that it has ended but glad I got the answers to many questions to the story line.

worth it as a whole/ some issues

While the Arthur doesn’t leave annoying cliffhangers the books individually are short. I can’t imagine paying for this many books. I’m reading as a kindle unlimited subscription. These are decent I still like Ellie Jordan ghost trapper better if only because that Arthur seems more aware of logistics and pulled it back when he got to weird. For the dreamscape of a book to work (for me) some basics rules still need to apply, like timeline. The boy was bringing his new wife home for the first time only to show up the day of his twin sisters funeral. He was written as older but he should have been only 15. She was dead at 15. The rules of bloodline don’t change either. If Ashland is a Descendent of Elijah and that could be traced by CJ assistant he can’t be a Boumont. His ancestors didn’t live at seven sisters. CJs could have but so far that fact isn’t acknowledged. It’s bugs me sorry.

Loved this series

Wow is all I can say! This story has its very suspenseful moments. Such Evil in some of the people. I just can't believe how they got treated. After the first book, you have to keep reading to find out what happens to the people you fall in love with. And with the Evil people that you really hate . A MUST READ

Good bye to Seven Sisters

I have enjoyed all the Seven Sister books but this 7th one was by far my favorite one. It is different from the rest and has a different feeling to it. It has a feeling of hope and despair, love and loss and true friendship. I am sorry to see the series end but know that M.L. Bullock has a lot more fantastic books in her.

How can it end?

This is maybe the best book of the series. I need to know if this protagonist went back to Alabama, did she resolve her feelings. But I can live with this conclusion if need be. Really good series beginning to end.

Struggled to start this one. It was confusing at first and felt like I had missed a book in the series. I enjoyed the other books so much, that I kept reading. I'm glad I did and by Chapter 3 I was back on track.

*Calpurnia and JanJak(Muncie)

This book started off like all the others in the series where it visits past and present. But this was the story since book one that I wanted to hear. The past story of JanJak (Muncie) and Calpurnia. This started with the present day and then I realised as it flipped it was their story. Some of it was hard to read but the end for me was fitting. This was the best of the seven
books for me

Saying goodbye is never easy. This book was good. I mean really engaging. I actually cried in the Epilogue. I knew what was happening and saw it coming, but to be in the moment and feel the emotion behind it from Cal - it was heartwrenching.

I am so sad to let these characters go...but I know it is time.

Keep on writing M.L. Bullock- I just keep on reading!!!

Fantastic series.

The whole series of "Seven Sisters" has been a spell binding read. The movement of the stories and the life's of the people were extraordinary. M.L. Bullock has a beautiful talent for storytelling that is unique and leads the reader into the life's and feelings of the character.

Haiti

Some of the books go back in time, but I think I'm getting used to it. It was exciting and sad at the same time. I learned a lot from the book though. I didn't realize there were earthquakes in Haiti! It was interesting. Can't wait to read the next one!
