My life has been nothing but nightmares. Throughout my entire life, I’ve gone from one into another. Until they finally stopped. I met the man of my dreams and was finally happy raising our children. But before I knew it my past caught up with me. Terrified with losing everything I’ve created, I made a decision that not only affected me, but my family too. I had two choices: tell Ryder what’s happened and accept his help, or find a way to deal with it on my own. The club had been through enough already, and they didn’t need anything added to their plates. I’d find a way to handle this one on my own.
Brielle's Nightmare is book 10 in the "inferno's clutch mc" series. While this is a series with interconnected characters, you CAN read out of order - which I did. Just pay attention to which characters are in which books. Some of the books are a continuation of stories / characters featured in earlier books [ this one is. ].
I am starting to love this author. I mean, it takes talent to pack such a punch in novella - length books. The character development in this entire series has been so great. Each character is relatable in some way.. Their flaws and baggage are so ... real and raw. In this one, we see Ryder again and Brielle. Brielle has moved on with her life and is happy with Ryder and the kids... but then her past comes back to haunt her again... Brielle's mother Sylvie has forced her way back into Brielle's mind and is making demands. Brielle obvoiusly doesn't want Sylvie to get anywhere near her kid and tries to take care of things without anyone else finding out. Breaker obviously figures out she's hiding something and reminds her that he and the club are there to take care of them. So that's what happens.
This one of my favorites in the series. Can't wait to read more. <3
3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK, or decent reads. ========================= It earned 3 stars for the violent death of the crazy villain (I just love it when these bitches get a gruesome end). In fact, all the books in the series follow an exact formula.
When I first read Chains Trust (Book 1), I thought that it was short and sweet but still packed a punch. At that point, I thought the books were short, but they still were a very fulfilling story. Since then, each book has been an experience on its own. Some are really good, and some are really bad. I think this one falls right in the middle.
Brielle and Ryder have settled into married life with their three kids. I believe that they have the best chemistry out of all the couples. They're fun and playful with each other, and it made me smile. Life wouldn't be interesting though without a little bit of drama, and Brielle's hiding a secret that's about to come to light.
Here's where things took a turn in the wrong direction, and why I rated this a three: -The length of the Book- Most of the time, I wanted more. I didn't care what it was, I just needed more. Like I mentioned before, Chains Trust was satisfying even though it was short. At the time I read it, I didn't think there was anything else that could have been added. This time, I thought there was multiple occasions where even just a little bit further explanation or expanding on a plot point would have given that same effect.
-I am starting not to care for this connected cult/secret society plot that's been woven through the last couple of books. It's not progressing, and at this point, it either needs to hurry up or just be done. It's a little silly that it keeps connecting these stories.
-To go along with above - when Brielle knows what's coming for her, she tries to be a martyr. She doesn't want anyone in her family to be hurt, so her great plan is to sacrifice herself. I also thought that was a little silly as she's been around enough to know that there's safety in numbers. The last time she was a martyr it didn't work out so well, so why would this time be different. I was glad that Ryder figures there's something wrong and forces the conversation.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Brielle's Nightmare is book 10 of the Inferno's Clutch by E.C. Land. Just a word of warning, E.C. Land's series have interconnecting characters. While you can read one book alone it is definitely better to read all the series. Brielle has had a rough life and just when she thought she was moving on with her life with Ryder and the kids, the past is back looking for its payment.
Brielle's mother, Sylvie Heroux is a part of 'The Uprising.' We know this group from the problems they have been and are causing in many states within this and the other series. When Ryder finds out what is going on he and the brothers protect what is theirs. Until they can't.
I enjoyed the book because I like following along with all of the lives of the people in the club. They aren't angels but protect what is theirs with everything they can. Brielle's Nightmare strikes a blow against The Uprising but ultimately this group survives to hurt more people. I think unless you know the history of the characters' from earlier books you may not appreciate the story. I feel like each one is checking in on the MC. I enjoy the visit.
Brielle has suffered so much at the hands of her evil mother and she's never told anyone, not even Ryder or her brother, Whip. She was finally living a peaceful life with her kids and her man, but her mother has resurfaced demanding what she feels is owed to her. Brielle refuses to allow her mother to get her hands on Lucy, Brielle and Ryder's daughter.
So, used to keeping those safe by suffering in silence, Brielle makes a plan. However, her man knows her and knows something is wrong. Adding to his suspicions, Ryder finds a hidden letter from Brielle's mom. Ryder is such an amazing man and he reminds Brielle who she belongs to and how it's his job to protect her and their family. She finally confesses everything about her past. Ryder and the Club start making plans to keep their families safe. Of course, everything goes crazy but the guys take care of business. Love that Whip was there for Brielle and that she finally told him everything that she endured after he left.
I loved that we were able to get so many points of view with this story as well as catching up with the Club. Looking forward to learning more about Pipe! As always, well done E.C. Land!
A new edition to the Inferno's Clutch series. However, we have met Brielle and Ryder before. Despite that we have read about them before and they got the HEA, E. C. Land is able to continue their story and have you enjoying this new part of their story. Great writing to be able to pick up their story again after the gap between books.
Brielle's past has not forgotten about her. She thought what she went through with Titus was bad but what's coming for her now could break her.
For the safety of her family, Brielle plans to leave Ryder and save them all. Ryder knows Brielle though and he knows something is up. When he catches Brilelle saying goodbye to their baby he makes her tell him everything.
Now Ryder and the club will beat back Brielle's nightmare and make their family safe. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite work out like that and some of the club family is taken. The brothers have to do what they do best to get them back safe and sound before it's too late.
What I liked most about the book, was in the beginning, it gave you a quick review of what has happened in the past, how all the "Old ladies" came to be. Not too much to dislike about the book, the saga continues regarding the selling of children and cult like activities. Part of me can't wait until the saga is done and finished, but then that would be the end of the books.
Brielle wants to handle the issue of her mother on her own without bothering her man, Ryder. However, he knows her emotions and movements better than she knows herself. With his and his brothers from the MC, they are bound and determined to find out who shot the prospects, Brielle, who kidnapped the kids, they won't rest until everything is good in their lives.
I love the women of the Inferno’s Clutch MC. They are all so strong and feisty and would do anything to protect their men and family and Brielle is no exception. This MC is always battling evil people and in this book Brielle and Ryder are threatened when the past forces it’s way into their future and causes drama for the entire MC. This is a great series that is fast paced and all the men of the MC are strong alphas who love their women unconditionally and fiercely. Lots of danger and suspense and hot steamy moments that make this book a great read and it is always exciting catching up with all these amazing characters. Cannot wait for the next book!

She thought her nightmare had ended but it wants her to pay again
Brielle's Nightmare is the tenth book in the Inferno's Clutch MC. This story is about Brielle, Ryder, their children and unfortunately her nightmare of a mother. Ryder and Brielle found each other and were riding off into the sunset and their HEA but sometimes the past can resurface and in this story it comes back with evil intent. At the same time the overarching story-line of the MC and members continues so Brielle does not want to go to Ryder for any help. But when things take a few turns there will be no choice as Ryder and the MC family will always be there for their members.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
For Brielle life had finally settled, with Ryder and their kids, but her past wasn't far behind. To save her family she would do anything, she must face her demons and go back to her nightmares. When Ryder learns of his wife's plan, he vows to protect her and his family at all costs. When tragedy strikes, the club goes into over drive, but will it all be to late? Book 2 for Brielle and Ryder but book 10 in the Infernos Clutch series. Well written, the story has you hooked with suspense from the get go! filled with drama, action, desires and more! A great addition to the series.

Without revealing spoilers, it's hard to explain some of the things I liked and didn't like about this book. Suffice to say, the heroine, although initially trying a TSTL moment, was saved from making this mistake. And, no OW drama, yay! So I was pretty happy until I discovered we get a new character with an interesting backstory who gets killed off camera and boom, this new character has come and gone. So that was annoying and frankly, I'm getting really tired of this storyline with the mysterious traffickers. Literally nothing else seems to happen with these MCs. Good HEA though.

What can I say, I love Bri and Ryder. These two have had so much happen to them, especially from their pasts. Ryder has the guilt of what happened to his niece Victoria and Bri has the ghosts from her childhood. Now those ghosts are coming back to both of them. Ryder will do whatever it takes to keep Bri safe. We all know that he will die and kill for her. Bri is strong and she is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her family safe. I swear EC always ends up giving you a twist that makes you go, WT….!😳🤯 Take a ride back to Louisiana, you might get to see some familiar faces and our favorite “pet”, Bart.🐊
Brielle know’s her mother is coming for her daughter! Brielle will do anything to save Lucy from harm. She plans to leave all the kids with Ryder. However, Ryder comes across a letter that clues him in to the situation. Ryder catches her the night she plans to leave. Finding out the truth Ryder is upset she never trusted him with the truth of what she endured. With everyone on full alert they think that they are keeping everyone safe. However Sylvia gets past all the protection and kidnaps Lucy along with the others. Can Ryder get everyone back in one piece! Will there be a happily ever after this time?

Brielle is trying to step up and save her family by sacrificing herself. Ryder catches her and stops her from making a serious mistake. This book is told from several POV's which helped the storyline but made the book a bit disjointed. There is a ton of action and some steam to make this a quick read. It continues the underlying mystery of a child trafficking/cult that the MC is after but again nothing is resolved with that plot line. Its getting a bit old and feels like it is getting drug out at this point.

What a book. Once you start reading you will not put it down until the end. Braille has been through so much and this story explains the pains of her past. The love Ryder shies her is insurmountable. There is no stopping this couple. Rheu will grip you throughout and not let you go. I can not get enough of these books. Oh and Riny is caught up in the entire ordeal as well. Can this club ever get a break. It was great seeing characters from other clubs and groups making guest appearances, not to mention the ever present Bart!

I really enjoy this series and I can't wait to read more and to see were it goes . I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This story in the Infernos Clutch MC series is more about Ryder and Brielle. We have a reappearance of her past that she has kept mostly secret. Brielle is going to learn that Ryder has her back in worst of times. Whip and the club prove they are her family when things really go south with the kids. This book brought you closer to some answers but we are not quite there yet. Their story has plenty of threats, secrets, determination and drama.

It is hard to image the nightmare that Brielle has suffered at the hands of her own mother. When her mother returns demanding the unthinkable, Brielle is ready to run. Things take a turn when Ryder knows something is wrong and finds out about her plans. Finally giving him the story of all the horrors that was her life, Ryder and the club do what MCs do. Without question, they protect what is theirs. With the angst and drama, as well as the love between Ryder and Brielle, their story was one I read from start to finish without being able to put it down. **I was gifted "Brielle's Nightmare" via Booksprout, leaving my review based on my reading.** 5 Stars!
Brielle is handing something big from Ryder and her brother Whip. When she gets a letter from her mother, who started it she trys to take matters into own hands. When Ryder finds out he vows to take care of the problem. From one page to the next you find out more and more. What will happen when the kids get taken along with Tiny? Will they be able to find them before it's too late? Will Brielle be able to tell the whole truth about her past? This mind blowing read will keep you glued to your kindle wanting to find out more. It has all the emotions, action, and romance but the twist will leave you reeling. I so can't wait to the read the next.
Well I get why Brielle was acting like she was with the threat to her daughter. I would have done the same if I was in her shoes. Ryder knows she is keeping something from him trying to protect him but he knows full well that whatever is bothering her she needs to have help to be able to succeed with taking care of the threat. Ryder tells her she needs to talk about what it is going on but at what cost? How many lives are going to be impacted and who is going to die? Those are the questions I have and yes the saga continues. Great addition to this series and this is NOT ONE to be missed!
Once again we are with the Inferno Clutch MC and we get to play with Ryder and Brielle again We thought that life for them had finally settles down Yes there is still the ongoing saga of who is kidnapping children in the area But when Brielle's past comes back to haunt her she decides this time she will fight the battle herself and there is no way Ryder is going to allow that When her mother takes her and Ryder's daughter and other kids from the compound then the Inferno Clutch will rain hell on her.
Danger, suspense follows the Inferno Clutch MC in this newest release that doesn’t disappoint. Brielle and Ryder should be basking in their forever, but the past comes alive to threaten their HEA. When she thinks that she will be able to hide her secret, Ryder shows her that the club always has her back and family is forever. An exciting and fast pace addition to the series and I can’t wait for more.
dam brielles mum sylvie is a nightmare the hell she has put brielle and alot of other women and kids through is haunting.. when you find out someone is trying to steal your daughter what would you do.... ryder brielle and the club have an enemy that makes a stupid mistake they take the kids and tiny, when the club finds them they fight with the fury of hell to get back whats theirs. i love this series each book makes me love it more
I loved catching up with Brielle, Ryder and their kids. Brielle‘s mom is a vindictive, hateful woman that has it out for Brielle and her daughter. When the scheming mother tracks her down Brielle decides to go it alone and take the threat away from her kids and Ryder but Ryder is having nothing to do with that plan. When her past comes at them with vengeance she has to keep her wits about her to keep her daughter and all of the kids safe.
E.C. knows how to write a book. Brielle's Nightmare definitely is a nightmare that I would not want to have as my life. Brielle sure has been through it right from when her brother went to boot camp. Her mother is a monster. The things she goes through and then she thinks she is gonna get past Ryder to keep her family safe, she has another thing coming. These men are so in tune to their ol ladies that they know what they are thinking.
I’m a big fan of the Inferno’s Clutch MC series and the entire expanded universe of connected books. Ryder and Brielle’s 2nd book fits right in with the rest of the series. I loved that they get resolution of an issue from earlier in Brielle’s life. Also very happy that we get the peek into what their life looks like in the very near future. These books are dark but in the best possible way. Fantastic read!
Thank you for sharing this journey with us!! I have loved every single book of you that I have read!! As a matter of fact, quite often I go back and read them AGAIN, to catch up or just because I sometimes miss something because I read your books so fast! Man, though I definitely wouldn't want to suffer as much as your characters do, I would love to find a biker like the ones in your stories!
This story is a well written story with a great plot and climax. Brielle has grown throughout her journey and has developed into a beautiful, strong, and brave woman. Ryder has really stepped up and can read brielle well. He can always tell how and what brielle is up to. I think that this couple has really grown as one and developed a strong bond. It is great to see the trust with this couple and with the club.
