This is a super quick erotic novella where two people get stranded after a plane crash and have to survive the island. Also, they start to “really like each other. Like really like,” and have a lot of spicy times. Honestly… it wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t quite for me. It was just a little TOO over the top even though I recognize that’s what most short erotic romances are going for lol anyway.

This was pretty cute. We don't get to see too much about the characters and their stay on the island isn't too bad. This focused primarily on the relationship. I did find the FMC unlikeable for about half the book.

Overall, it was ok.

Passengers had been standing in line since morning waiting for the small plane to leave from the remote resort island in the Caribbean. So when a man pushed past the line to get ahead, Julia Wild grabs his arm and told him how rude he was and there was no reason to jump in front of them all. She was already hostile because this should have been her honeymoon, but her ex walked out on her and she went to the resort alone. When a gate agent asked her to let him through so they could start preparations for the flight, she saw the airline logo on the pocket of his shirt and realized he was the pilot! And his smug smirk made the humiliation worse.

Julia woke up to panic in the plane, people praying and the entire plane shaking while the Captain was transmitting “Mayday”! The plane had been struck by lightning and the plane was losing power. Everyone was screaming. Something hit her head and she passed out, waking up with a horrible pain in her head and darkness all around. As the sun started to come up, she saw only a part of the plane her seat was attached to – nothing else was nearby. Was she the only one alive? She started walking and found another section of the plane. Then she saw one of the passengers who hadn’t made it, crushed and only his pants sticking out from under the plane section. She ran away in horror and lost her footing on a steep ridge of sand. She was crying and frightened, then she heard a voice comforting her and the pilot picked her up and carried her to a seat in a piece of the wreckage.

Julia Wild and Evan Sinclair seemed to be the only survivors from the small plane, now stranded on a remote island. Their hostilities kept up at first with them sniping at each other – or rather Julia’s sniping and his responding. Even though Evan told her he was married, they had been divorcing a year ago when her father got cancer, so they pretended to still be together but were not. When there was still no sign of rescue, and having to work together to survive until help might arrive, they finally bond and their attraction pulls them into a passion of wild emotions. Will they actually find real love with each other? And is it only in this moment of the shared emotional experience, or would the love last once they get back to the outside world again?

At first Julia irritated me with her bad disposition. I admired Evan for putting up with her and not allowing her to steamroll him. Would they get back to civilization? And would their love continue? Grab your copy and find out what kind of future awaits.

Julia has had a horrible time. Her wedding had been cancelled and she just spent what was supposed to be her honeymoon at a resort. She was trying to figure out what to do next since she works at her ex's family business. Now she is stuck for hours in a small airport in the heat waiting for her plane. It is the last straw when an arrogant man cuts the line and she lets him know she is annoyed. Then she is embarrassed to find out he is the pilot. Hoping not to see him again, she finds out her seat is right behind the cockpit. The flight is uneventful until the plane is hit by lightning and goes down. Julia hits her head and wakes up on an island still strapped to her seat. Most of the plane is missing but she does find Evan and the cockpit. The two seem to be the only survivors on a deserted island.

Evan is attracted to Julia even though she is a bit spoiled and demanding. He enjoys getting her going and he can easily hold his own with her. Being stuck with her on the island and working together to survive brings them closer together. However when she learns he is married but separated from his wife, she is determined to keep her distance. Will they be able to ignore their strong desires until they get rescued?

Julia was having a bad week first her fiance breaks off the engagement, then coming home from a honeymoon by herself her flight is delayed and yells at the pilot for jumping the line, and then the plane crashes. When she wakes up she realizes what happened. It is just her and the pilot, yes she was kind of mean to Evan the pilot. When she comes to her senses and knows they have to work together that thin lines gets crossed. I loved the story and I can see how someone would be really out of sorts with all that happened to her. Evan was wonderful. The story flowed and it was totally entertaining.

Short erotic story where a pilot and his passenger get VERY close after they crash into an island. I love how Julia acknowledges in her head she is a big pain. Evan has an absolutely filthy mouth (something else I love) once he gets going and she is a quick learner in that area. Their lives back home leaving much to be desired, it’s not surprising how they end up together, but he also makes her want more than she has settled for. Enjoyable read.

This was my first read from this author. This story reminded me a lot of that movie 6 days, 7 nights. A girl, on vacation, goes home with a pilot and they crash on the remote island.
The story pulled me in from the start. Evan and Julia do not start on good terms. These two made me laugh so hard. I will read more from this author in the future.

Julia just wants to get off the resort that was supposed to be her honeymoon. She yells at a man, thinking he’s cut the line, but in reality he’s the pilot. Right off the bat, Julia and Evan start off on the wrong foot. Disaster strikes and they’re stranded on a deserted island together. This is an enemies to lovers type of story. It’s short and steamy.
