With many dreams in his eyes, Arya leaves his hometown to study and to seek a better life, completely ignorant about his future and the destiny that awaits him. But destiny takes a sharp turn. In saving Simi, he becomes the cause of Raghu and Ishita’s accident. It is painful but it is a lesson that opens many doors for Arya.
"Saviour - An Uncommon Tale" is a genuinely an uncommon tale with shades of fiction, mysteries and thrill. Its tale of destiny of a young guy whose life get sudden shift in a snap.
Arya is anchoring charachter and around him the story revolves throughout. An honest and truthful young man, while helping to fetch medicine for his friend Simi, he had to face a traumatic accident which brings a big twist in his life. That change brings agony of thousands of death everyday as it was metaphysical and horrible than any physical injuries to suffer. He wanders to find solace and make peace with own self but his destiny has somthing more to see that brings him to confront biggest threat for him and his loved one too. Sometimes life get sudden shift that could never be imaginable, how an accident would open the door to unknown things, how great power comes with great responsibilities and great threat too. What we are left with is to find the way to get through and save all.
Storyline would certainly makes one feel like some kind movie like 'Inception'. It's fast pacing and captivating with lot of twists. Language was reader friendly that make it quick read. If you love the tale of super power, it's definitely a recommendation for them.
Saviour by Sunny Sinha is an amazing read. I was just completely lost in it and forgot about my work . Its alot engaging and I just loved the story.
Coming to the story , The story revolves around the protagonist Arya. Arya is just a common guy like us living a simple life and everything was going good but one day he meet with an accident and his life turned upside down .. No he didn't got any injuries and he was well and good but this incident created some mysterious changes in him . He would do many extraordinary things which other can't. He got some powers ..To know that just grab the book , its definately worth it . Author work is really appreciative and I just loved the way he has written the story. I would be definately waiting for the next from him. . . Review - 1) The cover and the title of the book is nice and attractive. 2) The plot of the story is ordinary but very well narrated by the author in a better way just like a Bollywood movie. 3) The language used by the author is simple and easily understandable. 4) The characters are well developed and described by the author. 5) The flow of the book is well paced . 6) Overall, an amazing read. . . I recommend this book to all.
Saviour - An Uncommon Tale by Sunny Sinha is a story about a guy named Arya, who leaves his hometown and shifts to a new city. He comes to a new city to study further and fulfill all his dreams and ambitions. But a very unexpected accident changes his entire life.
But he feels completely different and hopeful when he is with Simi. Its more like a contemporary issue with magical fiction story where he starts to acquire some powers after the accident. The plot is very interesting but I would have liked it more if we could have seen more action in the book. I felt it few things were rushed in the book.
I liked how the author has given equal importance to other characters - Ishita and Raghav. But when the focus was on them, Arya's story was kind off side tracked. But overall I liked how the author has given importance to some topics like Migration, its effects and also depression.
The plot and narration is great. But I would have enjoyed it more if the book would have been more like 200+ pages where we would get to see more personal developments in the character of Arya. Overall, a good one time read for me.
This is a contemporary fiction. The story is mainly about a man named Arya who accidentally acquires some supernatural powers and how his life revolves around his newly found powers and how he actually manages to save his friends and loved ones from the grave danger looming over their head.
This a short book of about 150 pages so the story is quite rushed. It has 1st person as well as 3rd person narrative. I personally loved the first 50 pages of this book because of the way it is written in 1st person narrative, then it suddenly changed into a mixture of 1st & 3rd person narrative. There were some unnecessary plot developments which felt like filling up the pages for no particular reason.
Though fast paced the story has smooth transitions between plots and the writing style is quite good. But there were again some extra sentences which makes no sense for eg. how well organized the sofa is in the house. Like who cares about sofa when there is a massive accident?
Coming into the characters. The main character Arya is loosely sketched on the other hand his friends' character especially Raghu and Ishita are well sketched. Putting Raghu and Ishita's love story in the middle!!! I don't get it.
Overall I enjoyed the writing style and flow if I keep aside the plot development and character development. After all this is something you never get to read everyday.

After an accident Arya starts to notice a difference. He discovers , he owns some supernatural power. But in this situation he finds himself clueless . And from here begins his journey to find his purpose.
"Saviour- an uncommon Tale " by Sunny Sinha is a short read where I could not find anything fresh. The discovering of powers after an accident is nothing new in plots . Again the story narration is not smooth enough. At some places there are extra information and these unnecessary things have made the story not so interesting enough.
Imagine a young ambitious man who moves to new city for better life. Then imagine this same young men met with an nasty accident and gains strange power to see broken dreams, pain and time of death of any person and he serves as their saviour.
That's 'Saviour : An Uncommon Tale', a thriller, a representative of humanity in it's unmuted, non super state. I could describe many books and movies that in some way also echo 'Saviour : An Uncommon Tale'. The idea isn't new and the story is quite predictable and feels rushed. None situation is explained in a full justified form where lead character Arya saves others life. But the total package feels fresh. From minute Arya got hit by the chemical truck and chemicals enters his bloodstream the book enters a realm of continual delight, though not always surprise. The dialogues has a goofy boldness in them. Other characters, Simi, Raghu and Ishita are sheer delight to read but somehow either they are overshadowed by Arya or they overshadow Arya.
Nevertheless, 'Saviour: An Uncommon Tale' is a fun, confident book. It's fast and tight and playful even when it's sadist and violent. It's 142 pages only but feels longer in a good way, because every second is packed tight. It's full of itself yet it stills keeps winking at you. The book is alive. It's pops.
From the starting to end, the author talked about all the earthly pain one can imagine. Although we know about the struggles and pains of human life, if someone mentions it again and again, we unconsciously started to feel their pain as ours. That’s what happened with this book.
Arya, a kind, helpful working guy, met with an accident one day while trying to help his colleague, Simi. Apparently, He was good and fine. There were no vital injuries. But something was changed inside him. He can see and feel things that normal persons can't even imagine. He can see the future of the person and their deathline by merely touching or holding them. That brought him stress and depression. He happened to know the tragedy behind Simi's death just like that. His efforts to save the person, he loved brought him another tragedy and he had to pay for the mess he created.
The author deserves appreciation for the imagination and creativity behind a story like this. While reading, sometimes it was difficult to comprehend that if it was a dream or reality. And one more thing is that he might have cut short some pages to make the book more crisp and interesting.
What if a bizzare accident changes your way of life? Not only physically but gives you some extraordinary powers? Will you consider it blessing or curse? Here Arya considers himself a savior for others but a curse for hisown life.
He leaves his hometown in Bengal to pursue his education and career related things in Delhi. After completion of college he lands on to a good job. Things were moving normal until Simi his colleague comes into the play. He visits simi's parent in the hospital as a good willing friendbut that good will turns into a horrific night of the discharging day when Arya meets an accident. Tanker full of chemicals rams into him and something bizzare happens.
He can see others broken dreams, desires and thoughts now alongside time of death. How will he digest this new thing in his life and use it? There are quite a lot of characters. Ishita, Raghav, Simi, Soresh, Ishan, Ishita's family. How are they all related in this accident of Raghav? The virtual reality blended dreamzones were interesting and vivid to visualise. If you like drama twist filled books you may check it out.
The tag line of the book is uncommon tale and I must say that it is indeed an uncommon tale. I will briefly summarise the blurb. The protagonist of the story is Arya. He leaves her home town with so many dreams in her heart and eyes. Like most of us. But something terrible happened. An accident changed him completely. But that isn’t enough. In attempt of saving Simi, accidentally he met with an accident and in that car Raghav and Ishita were there. Accident changed his life completely, physically as well as mentally. I liked the plot as I have seen and dealt with the people who made through a horrible accidents and their physical and mental trauma so I could relate with it. Author has presented this plot so smoothly and beautifully that anyone can pick it up. Emotions and struggles have been portrayed too beautifully. It’s filled with twist and turns that makes us alert in anticipation. The language of the book is lucid that way everyone can pick it up. The story is fast paced that way it holds your attention. Overall good one. Everyone should give it a try
A story about a man who is met with an accident that leaves him with a power he cannot understand. Thus begins his journey to find his purpose. This was a very quick read. The story was short and had a few sub plots to keep it interesting. I liked the characters and how it went back and forth, how we got Raghav’s story as well which I was not expecting.
Although the writing was fine the plot wasn’t as well constructed as I had expected. The concept of his powers was while explained in some details it didn’t make sense to me. I am one of those who need details to be correct and I just could not overlook it.
I’m gonna start this with saying how nice the characterisation was. imagination was vivid. Life throws a rather unexpected stone his way and just when you think the tragedy is bad enough, arya begins to experience something terrible. Somehow I’m reminded of ‘ twisted tree’ How do you call this as boon when it fills you with such naked fear. Is it clever to know the future beforehand ? To see a visual that could possibly happen in the future and to live in a constant dread ? it sounds scary. Join arya as he unravels all the mystery and conquer it.
Starting with the cover, it's really good and intriguing. Title is also attractive.
Coming in with a lot of expectations, I would give the full credit to the author to portray the characters of Arya and his friends.
The book is fast paced read as author manages to stir up a fairly authentic lives of all characters. 🌼 ⏩What I didn't like⏪
●The book doesn't really exist to stimulate our brain cells. The plot is wafer-thin, often so convoluted that you have a tough time keeping pace with the story.
●Also this book takes time to establish itself in the absence of credible plot, which though could have been trimmed.
●Subplots pop up at random without any rhyme or reason and that's how hard this book has hit us.
⏩Recommendation⏪ If you are a beginner then you can pick this book up.
it should be noted that it is quite relentless and dramatic. There is a wide use of the epithets which make the novel sound rich and voluptuous to some extent, although sentences often seem tobe short and abrupt. Writer pays great attention to detail which helps the readers to imagine the picture vividly to the point that one cannot wait for the next turn in the lives of the main characters.
This is the story of Arya, an ordinary guy who leaves his home town with a lots of dreams in his eyes. But one incident changed everything for him. It turns him into something extraordinary. However what turned him into a saviour for others became a curse for himself.
In an attempt to save Simmi, his colleague in an accident, his life turns upside down. His attempt to save someone brought upon trajedy in other ways he had not expected at all. The accident changed everything for Arya, both mentally and physically.
The incident gave him special power of seeing the future. He could see people's future, their sorrows just by touching them or holdong their hands. Arya couldn't take this though. It was hard on him, to see people's sufferings and bad fate, to the point of getting him depressed. He took it upon himself to save them and felt their pain as his. His emotions were very beautifully explained. It would make you teary going through that part of the story.
You gotta read the rest of the story for yourself to experience it. This book though a work of fiction, has many life lessons one can learn and relate to. We all see this in real life too, how sometimes one incident changes everything for a person turning their lives upside down.
The language, the narration, the story in itself everything is perfect. The title, I don't think it could be anymore apt than this. Theres so much to relate and so much to take away from the book and every emotion is just on point. Great job done by the author there.
The book, “SAVIOUR -AN UNCOMMON Tale” is one of the selling books that interestingly narrates the story of a boy who faced difficulty in expressing himself and feels out of place
