This was one of my favorite books as a kid, and one of my daughter’s as well.

This book is a lot of fun to do with the kiddos. The sentences are short, but every page has an activity to do. My daughter loves doing the moves in this book, from shaking her leg to jiggling her ears, and everything in between. When she was younger she memorized what move was on which page, and could do them before you even said them.

I love interactive books for my daughter especially since she’s two, and her attention span is short. Interactive books keep her attention well, and we always have lots of fun with them.

What is it about this book? It was a favourite of my oldest kid when she was a toddler — she would insist I read it to her all the time and would do the actions (as well as her chubby, uncoordinated limbs would let her) along with the story. My youngest likes this book so much that he tore the cover off and I had to replace it. Something about Grover and Elmo, man. Good for teaching kids about verbs and their body parts.

I love this book. Apparently I have owned it since October 25th 1997. The illustrations are super cute and it was fun to glance thru it!

This tiny book always brings out the giggles. When the kids get antsy or fidgety during our nighttime reading then I switch to this book and they follow along with every action (Rub your belly, pat your head, wiggle your toes, etc.)and get a little energy out. They think it's hilarious every time.

My grandchildren enjoyed this book. Although they loved Barney Plays nose to Toes, more. Seeing how they loved Barney, I wanted to expand to more books for them. This is a new story, but with similar actions for them to participate, just as the Barney book. It'll take them time to memorize this book as they did Barney, but they are enjoying it, just the same.

Not a bed- or nap-time book, this is fun to read with a toddler during the day. Make sure you do all the actions!
