ღ . I think one of the things I enjoy the most about this author is, how you never know what you are going to get with her
To say that, I've loved this author’s other books is putting it mildly… So, as you can imagine how thrilled I was, when this arrived on my kindle, I was extremely excited to start it. I basically read it in one sitting .. It just took me hot second to put my thoughts together to write my review… This is where that part comes into play -, how you never know what you are going to get with this author … Thank so much Erin for giving us another amazing read
She’s off-limits to him. But Switch being Switch, he never listens to the warnings
These two were definitely from opposite sides of the world
she seems so sweet and innocent …. Even thought that, she had a tragedy occur to her recently
He had unimaginable horrible life growing up… he has a darkness within him that he doesn’t want her to see, cuz he can’t control it when she is close to him
It's been almost a year since switch decided to leave his brothers at the MC and stay behind and be part of Enzo's crew as his enforcer ... it has been just as long since she walked into his life
Enzo would kill Switch; he would rip his beating heart from his chest for looking at his cousin the way he does. He knows the kind of man that Switch is, and yet Switch is thinking that death would be well worth it

OMG!!! Deadly Lust by Erin Trejo is book 2 in the Deadly Series that will have you on edge throughout this story that is a raw, brutal, dark emotional steamy journey between Switch and Alina and the deadly world of the Mafia. Two broken tormented souls will battle the demons they are both trying to overcome filled with doubts and violence. Will Switch's blood lust prevent him from having the one woman he wants as he needs to kill to be able to cope from the torture and severe cruelty he suffered at a young age making him the killer he is today. Switch struggles daily with the feelings he is trying to suppress for Alina as he knows that if he gives in he will end up destroying her. Alina is tormented by the violent abuse she suffered, afraid she will be taken again and has panic attacks if she goes outside. Only Switch is able to help her cope as she feels protected and safe with him as she begs him to stay with her at night to keep the demons at bay. Now he feels he needs to show her how dark and dangerous he is so he takes her by force hoping she will fear him and stay away but Switch will find that this determined sassy woman will not be easily persuaded.

This series by far has been a nail bitter. Wow this mafia book has had it all, murder, rape (mentioned) so if not for you please don't read.... , Horrible child related abuse which explains so much about our characters, and love/list which makes for a true dynamic Mafia story. You know we think Mafia it's all about territory one family ruling another. This book has that too.Erin to her true form never holds anything back everything is black and white there's no middle ground when she writes a book she doesn't sugarcoat anything all her stories are raw. That's why I love when she writes. She tells a true story what it would really be like if you were in this book. Yeah and a mafia world there's going to be murder, unfortunately women are going to get hurt, and then there's always a hero. For us it's switch he has to deal with his struggles, deal if he can be loved or be loved or give love. As he is in the world of protecting others as a true killer. Then our girl Alina wants to be loved, wants to take her life back in her hands after what was done to her by another brutal family, see what happens between these two can lust win, or love, or a mixture of both. This is a fantastic book and I truly can't wait to see what happens in the third installment.

From slow burn to intense fire 😍
I have loved Switch since we met him in the Royal Devils. He's rough on the outside but I knew there was something good in him from his interactions with Gaia & Tessa. With Alina, it's even deeper because he has watched & wanted her for almost a year. His childhood was unimaginable but when he's with Alina, the pain & memories fade away. Even though she's off limits, he's willing to risk Enzo's rath because she makes him feel that maybe, just maybe he can love & be loved.
Alina, Enzo's cousin, was taken by Tessa's father Rozano & his crew where she was horribly abused. She's terrified of all men, except Switch. Even though he's like a block of ice, she can see underneath all of that & what she sees calms her fears. For the first time, in what feels like forever, she feels desire. The thought of being with a man terrifies her but Switch makes her feel safe. He keeps pushing her away because he's afraid of hurting her but he fails to realize that their demons make them perfect for each other & she's determined to show him how good they will be together.

Well this is the series for you. Just Wow… Deadly Lust takes up right where Deadly Love ended. It’s dark, intense and exciting.
Switch is a biker who has joined the mafia world. He’s basically become Enso’s enforcer. He’s a dark man that has deep issues. His lust for blood and pain is where he finds his peace, so needless to say a relationship is off the table. But what happens when a woman comes along that loves to push his buttons and wants to take all he has to offer? Does he dare take that leap, especially when that woman is Enso’s cousin, the woman he has sworn to protect? A woman who has been through so much she’s hiding from the world at Enso’s home.
Simply an amazing read and this reader can’t wait for the third book, Deadly Desire. If you haven’t already done so I highly recommend grabbing up the first two books in this series (Dealy Love and Deadly Lust). You won’t be sorry you did.

SWITCH!!!!!!! This book …. Switch and Alina go from La douleur exquise (heart breaking love of wanting someone that you can’t have) to Kara sevde (black love this is a lovesick term for when you feel that passionate, blinding love for another person) I could not get enough of this book. We see a part of Switch that we had seen a few glimpses of but not this raw with his feelings. The Ricci Family again shows that it is full of loyalty, love, and protection at all cost. Though Switch and Alina fight throughout the book with their demons and each other’s. Everything about them is undeniable. Overall rating for the book is 4.50 Stars …. The only reason it is not a 5 for me is a couple of things there is a time gap and that left me with what happened in that span of time. Also, I think there are just a few holes as to Switch’s story and why he just left the Royal Devils and where are Preacher and Gaia they are not mentioned at all and with a credible threat to the family that is and weird given the relationship that Gaia and Enzo have in my opinion. Still a great read and I can’t wait for the next one.

Switch has been told Alina's off limits and given his sadist desires he plans to keep her at arms distance. Alina knows Switch is a killer but she wants him and his brand of pain. He's the only one that makes her feel safe. Their story is more than a little bumpy but they get their in the end.
This is a fast read, with two people who have lived through hell, but find their unique brand of loving works for them. Trejo holds nothing back, some parts of their story may be difficult for sensitive readers, read at your own discretion.

The first interaction between the main characters in this book came at the end of the last book when Alina was holding a knife to Switch's throat.
Alina was kidnapped, abused, and tortured in some of the most horrific ways. She prefers to stay indoors where she feels a sense of safety behind 4 walls.
Switch is a killer. Plain and simple. He itches when he has been idle for too long. His darkness is apart of him and touches everything that he does.

I’m in awe of Ms. Trejo, and her take in this series. The characters are damaged,bruised, but not quite broken, they both have crappy pasts..
This is what makes them so right together. They heal and love each other , no matter what comes their way. What they see in each other is what is missing from the other. They see each other as they really are, not what every other person sees or expects them to be.

The chemistry between Switch and Alina is explosive. From the start these two broken souls are drawn to each other, but Enzo has declared his cousin off limits to Switch. When Enzo's family is threatened he quickly realizes just how much Alina needs Switch. Switch and Alina’s story is absolutely amazing!! Two broken souls are fighting to overcome the demons from their pasts, will they succeed? Their chemistry from the very beginning is off the charts. Switch doesn’t think he can be the man Alina needs but she is determined that he can be. Great addition to the Deadly series!

HOLY HE*L!!!!!! Erin Trejo has done it AGAIN! Deadly Lust is the 2nd book in the Deadly series and it's Switch and Alina's (Enzo's cousin) book. These two are EXPLOSIVE together. Switch is battling so many demons from his childhood and he just breaks my heart with the way he sees himself. Alina has her own demons to battle and I believe Switch is the only one who can help her heal. Their relationship is wild and angry, passionate and dirty, volatile, sexy and intense as he*l. This story is just about as gritty as you can get and so emotional on every level. It's definitely a book that insists on being read in one sitting. There's absolutely no way I could put it down before I finished it.

Switch is EVERYTHING!! Both Switch and Alina have suffered unimaginable torture and cruelty. He has demons he fights every day turning into Enzo’s enforcer, and Switch loves this outlet for his monster to come out and play. Having Alina so close is tempting him with the unattainable. She’s drawn to Switch and pushed him enough to snap and take action. But the past needs to be dealt with in order for them to heal themselves and each other and move on… together.

Alina was a handful from the start. We first saw her in Deadly Love (book 1 in the series) and that ends with her with a knife to Switch's throat. These two are both tortured and damaged and for some reason are drawn to each other even though it's wrong for so many reasons. In true Erin form, this isn't an easy HEA. It tragic, twisted, and unpredictable.

Switch is a dark twisted man. Being tortured as a child does something to a mind. He lives to kill and finds peace and joy in it without hesitation. Until he spends a year protecting his friends and family and falls for the broken soul of Alina. Love isn’t always pretty or easy, but one thing we do know is it can be down right deadly.

When Enzo offers Switch to join the family he was conflicted at first, he loved his brothers but also knew that he would be more at home there, then he met Alina, Enzo's cousin, they knew they shouldn't but the attraction was too great.

After finishing Deadly Love I dove right into Deadly Lust and O.M.F.G. I liked Switch when we first met him in Freak: RDMC Chicago, book three. You knew his past was dark and f’ed up but after reading this I understand why he is the way he is and I love him even more. This series is FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!! 🖤🔥💀🔥🖤

Wow Switch is one intense alpha, the life he leads should scare away most especially Alina. He is the one person that makes her feel safe, and he is also the one person who shouldn't make her feel safe. These two shouldn't work together, but holy do they ever, they are exactly what each other needs to heal

Alina and Switch's story takes off running. It's an action packed page turner that'll have you hooked. Definitely fast paced and it drops a few twists. You won't be disappointed. Be prepared for anything cause you never know what might happen or pop up. I'd recommend reading.

Switch is an intense man. Enforcer for the Royal Devils MC, he’s taken a side job along side Enzo. With a past full of torture, he finds solace in killing. Blood eases his mind and it’s become the reason he’s anti relationship. That is until Alina comes along.

This is an exciting action packed mafia/MC romance story.When Switch gets guard duty protecting the mafia princess he's beyond mad because she seems to know what buttons to push.Switch gave up on love after having his heart destroyed.Now its one night stands and no relationships.But now this fiery mafia princess has worked her way under his skin an into his heart which is bad because she's off limits. The chemistry is like a powder keg the sparks ever go off the they will catch everything on fire.There are dangers coming from more than just the mob the rival club wants to get their hands-on Skins.Will Switch an his club be able to keep her safe?Or will something happen where she's willing to give her life for his. Whew! This book is phenomenal. It will grab you and keep you reading until the last word has been read. If you love dark romance this series is a must have! This book will keep you captivated! It is raw, gritty, brutal, dark, intensly emotional and more! Switch and Alina are broken and tormented souls. They have dark pasts and battle the demons from that everyday. As if that isn't enough they also have the mafia and all the expectations and dangers that go along with that world. Danger, secrets, betrayal and more! Who can they trust? Will they overcome their pasts? Is a HEA possible for them? Can they let their guard down for each other? Check this one out and see what happens! Loved it!

Deadly Lust is a fast-paced and captivating story. Switch has always been a fascinating character to me and I was so excited to read more of his story. He has a hunger for blood and pain as a way to deal with his past and find his "calm". He is working with Enzo now and in the Mafia world when his path crosses with Alina, Enzo's cousin. Alina is also haunted by a past full of darkness - being abused, tortured, and kidnapped and loves feeling safe inside. Switch comes around as part of his job and Alina is finding calmness instead of fear but can they battle and conquer all the bumps in the road to make a relationship work.

The author draws you into the dark psychy of a man who relishes blood and death, can he be trusted with the broken woman that is Alina, Enzo's cousin? Alina has problems after her kidnap and abusive rape but she finds calm and feels safe with the one man that is probably so broken himself he could be a danger to her.
Well developed plot with believable characters that will keep you reading, even when you should be tucked up in bed. Loved the first two books in the series and look forward to reading more.

**Trigger warning violence and talks of rape and abuse**
OOOHHH book two in the deadly series. First I need to say that I need like a small novella of Switch to see why he is working for Lorenzo and no longer with the mc. So Erin if you read this, you know just to through that out there. With that said lets dive into this book. So you remember how book one ended. Alina showed up and Switch was there. Yeah, Switch is one crazy mofo. I mean we get a glazed perspective that he did not have it easy growing up. Then we have Alina who is sweet but she has issues. She has been through the ringer as well. However to me I feel that she really did not grow to be tougher. She tries but clams up. However she does seem to strengthen herself in front of Switch. Now these two are dancing around each other but Switch just tells her to stay away. He is not good for her. What happens with the resolve breaks? How will this end? I think this is a great follow up to book one. I cannot wait to see what is next.

Dark, Deadly and Delicious
Switch had left the MC to become the enforcer for Enzo and they became friends as well. Even being friends, Enzo still warned Switch off from Alina. Enzo knew just how dark and dangerous Switch is and doesn’t want his history to repeat itself with Alina. Switch’s past made him into this deadly killing machine who lets his monsters come out to play but its Alina that knows she can be the healing factor that Switch needs. They have so many obstacles in their way that made this book such a page turner.
What a great addition to this series created by Erin Trejo. It’s the dark world of the mafia with men who know how to control and love their women. After reading this installment I’m ready for more so I can be lost in this world yet again.
