That was heartbreaking 💔she wished for eternal death ☠️, to be erased from the word 😭for the beauty of her power had bring her unbearable suffering and abuse 😭she lived 7 lives in complete torture from her own father and her brother told her to die in place of her adopted sister 😭my heart broke a thousand times in every death 💔her father abused her, used her and tortured her 😭 but there one person and one person only how loved her truly and was ready to burn the world for her ❤️‍🔥, he didn't give up on loving her though she lost her feelings in one moment, he didn't give up and hold on to his love for her and stayed the pilar for her ❤️‍🔥, and she was his happeness 😭. It was simply beautiful and the ending wasn't disappointing ❤️, the characters was perfectly written and the plot was very good 💕, simply amazing ❤️.

4.5 stars only because I don’t need to know what happened in every single one of her lives, it got really annoying at some point. I know it’ll come handy in the future of the life. She’s living now, but still annoying.

This was a little boring because the storyline and power systems are confusing so it feels like you’re just reading random plot devices. There’s also so many families and names within those families that it starts to get hard to keep up with. The motivations of the FL are sometimes so random because you only see bits of her previous lives every so often so you wonder a lot of the story why she’s doing what she’s doing. It’s written to be a long story, so reveals aren’t that common, but it makes the read a bit stale because instead of the author giving you answers here and there to satisfy you to keep reading, you’re left wondering WHY for so many chapters; but not in a good way. DNF CH. 55. I appreciate the author telling readers the artist changed, but with the new art and confusing storyline this isn’t for me.

[Review for manhwa ver]

I'd heard of this manhwa offhandedly numerous times in the comments of other titles I've recently read, but I'm underwhelmed in the worst way possible.

The art is gorgeous. The change of artist between season one and two didn't bother me very much to be honest. My main issue is with the story. Firstly, this is the most bland romance I've ever encountered. It seems the manhwa didn't know whether to highlight its complex plotline or the romance entangled within the plot so it tried doing both and failing. The story jumps from one life to the next in complete disarray. And the ending. You get perhaps one glimpse into the affermath and that's it. No side stories. Not much on what everyone is doing or how much has changed.

I enjoyed the overly complex plot though. And I liked the antagonists. It felt less like some great evil and more like a group of people who fell into their own despair. I really felt for them (aside from the dad + brother). However, this isn't enough to cover the disjointed storytelling, lackluster ending, or underwhelming romance.

I thought Kill the Villainess was depressing enough but this one is even more + heartwrenching, but with some humours. I applaud the author & the illustrators for their amazing work.

The innocent Hillis had lived 7 tragic lives & at her 8th life, she became heartless. I love how her character gradually changes and turns warm. I think her character arc is portrayed well. This story might be confusing for some so I’d suggest to focus & read in one go. Imo the author has done well in inserting & tallying current life with her past lives.

While I do hope we could have some side stories, it’s enough for me to read their happy ending. At the very least, they will have more time to love & cherish each other in this new life.

Era una idea bastante interesante, sobre todo por cómo se mostraban las otras vidas, pero no sé si estuvo a la altura de la idea.
Me costó desarrollar empatía con los personajes, incluyendo a la protagonista. Creo que en su mayoría me parecían molestos más que otra cosa 😅

Hacia el final pareciera que se le enredó la historia e intentó cerrar muy rápido.
Me hubiese gustado un final más acorde a la trama 😔

A very sad manga with a good concept, I didn't love the ending, but the art is good and the FMC is amazing. Not technically a book, but I think manga should be counted because there are usually 100+ chapters and it takes hours to read. (I'm a manga girly if you didn't know, but also more of a book girly) :)
