Enjoyable read but had several grammatical errors. The hardest thing to do when I start reading is figure out who is who since there are so many characters and the books are so spread out. The second issue is the battle prestige. It's hard to remember how much each level is supposed to "boost the characters" and it seems to change at the authors will. The only other qualm is the plot armor. Why would his clan not give him a hidden protector to help him when people from the "old generation" try to bully him. Especially with his importance to the clan as in if he dies they go back to being weak. There is letting him grow in combat and another thing being stupid. All things considered it is a fun read and has some interesting plot developments with multiple characters. From the mcs reluctant harem to all off his party somehow all important persons in one way or another
I don’t exactly have high standards when reading books like this. That said this book was pretty much a waste. There was virtually no action or plot progression until the end. The entire book consisted of scenes like this: “ He glared at the MC. The MC sensed eyes upon him. He just smirked”. Literally, the MC and his group spent the whole book walking around town being stared at and ignoring people. This is a series in the cultivation sub genre. Yet this book has no cultivation in it. The characters don’t get any stronger. Very little is accomplished. In short, this book should not have been written.
