My kids enjoyed this book, especially by daughter. She is going through a phase where she is scared of everything, and this book kind of helped her to see that it’s okay to be scared of things, and that everyone is scared of different things.
This is a great book for kids that get scared easily or are scared of things. It might help them to not feel so alone.
I preferred "I Feel Happy," but "I Feel Scared" does a similarly good job of describing the physical and mental experience of feeling scared. I didn't like the examples so much. The tooth in the pliers actually is scary, and I'm not sure whether looking at a spider for one minute is the CBT that we need. This could really go either way: be helpful and comforting to someone managing fears or generate new fears for someone who doesn't have a bunch.
