Aeromancist is the third book in the Forbidden Art series by Charmaine Pauls and the conclusion to Kat and Lann's story.

After the 30 days are over, Kat and Lann go their separate ways, but their relationship is far from over. But when a dark force put Kat's life in danger, Lann will do the unthinkable to save her.

The ending was left open, and I'm so intrigued by what is going to happen next. I want more from Nicholas, but at the same time, I'm a little bit worried that the author will make him a villain. I don't think I could handle that.

This book will grab hold of you, and don't let go. A thrill ride you don't want to miss with the perfect blend of hot romance, paranormal activities, and suspense!

Maya is next, and I can't wait.

It’s time for the full story of Aeromancist, and who’s the lucky girl with an ARC? That would be me,and i couldn’t wait to get to the heart of this beauty!

Remember those 30 days Kat spent with Lann? And the fact she promised to never contact him after those 30 days were over?
She’s going to have to break that promise....because he left something behind, and Kat needs to tell him about it.
His reaction, however,is not really what she expected.
And his demand to have it removed, breaks her heart.
When he finally gets a chance to explain, she understands his reasons.
But that doesn’t mean she’ll do what he wants....

Lann is shocked to find Kat is pregnant, because he was sure he couldn’t have children. Worse,Kat’s life is in danger because of that pregnancy.
History has proven the mothers always die giving birth, and he can’t bear being responsible for her death!
But Kat is determined his child is going to be born. Accepting the fact it wíll kill her.
All he can do,is do his best to give her every chance of surviving.
And show her how he feels, hoping she’ll find a way to trust him again....because he can’t live without her.

But time is ticking, and a cure is hard to find.
Until the enemy offers a solution, but at a very high price.
They face a horrible dilemma, but have also run out of options...
How can they save both Kat ánd their baby?

I needed to know, needed to find out what happened, and i couldn’t stop reading until i knew the whole story. Their story.
Because there’s more....
The enemy is still out there, and they still need to stop him.
I can’t wait for the next story,Hydromancist!

After starting Lann and Katherines story in Aeromancist 2. I couldn’t wait for this book. Luckily the wait wasn’t too long.

Lann is the last of his line. He’s infertile and will therefore never have a family of his own. He desperately wants Katherine but knows he can’t offer her forever. So he gives her 30 days. 30 days in which they fall in love but then say goodbye.

I don’t want to spoil anything. I’d no idea what was going to happen going in and I was so glad. I throughly enjoyed this one. It’s my favourite so far and will take some beating.

Maya is next. And I’m so looking forward to her book.

I voluntarily read a review copy kindly provided by the author. My review is as always honest and my own

My Review

This is the third book in this series and the conclusion to Kat and Lann's story that began in book 2.
This starts up right where we left things previously with that shocking revelation regarding kat’s unexpected pregnancy and the emotional repercussions that result from it all.

It’s Understandable that Kat is feeling betrayed and hurt by Lann’s previous actions and he is now having to do damage control as she is unable to believe from his prior behaviour and bad initial reaction that he actually cares for her rather than him just feeling responsible and guilty for the situation they now both face.

His actions were understandable and made sense to him at the time in fact he saw it as being unselfish and putting her safety over what he ultimately wanted which was Kat in his life.
Kat thinks and quite rightly that it was not his decision to make on his own hence she initially has some trust issues regarding his feelings being genuine after all he left her and now suddenly he’s had a big turn around because of the current circumstances.

There’s emotional upheaval on both sides to work through, it’s a race against the clock with dire odds of success add in hunters after the baby and Lann and Kat certainly have their hands full.
In fact, the situation they are facing ultimately kat’s demise during childbirth means they have to make hard unthinkable choices if they have any chance of achieving there HEA as a family unit.

This one was all about the feels and Kat and Lann’s love for each other is put to the test in numerous ways.
Lann must put aside his own wants to do what is best and support the woman he loves in her decision and face up to the prospect that he could lose it all.

We also get to catch up with some past characters which was great I’m loving this series a lot and though this had a slower pace than the first book and a different flavour to the second I liked it a lot.
I voluntary reviewed a copy of Aeromancist (7 Forbidden Arts #3)

This was a bit of a rollercoaster for Kat and Lann. Book 3 picks up right where book 2 left off so you will want to read these books in order. The previous book was more about Kat and Lann's contractual relationship that ended after 30 days. Both were suppose to walk away and never see each other again but of course that is not what really happens.

I love how obsessed Lann was with Kat and you could see the struggle it was for him to stay away from Kat. I also liked that Kat had enough self respect that she didn't beg Lann for more even when she got a surprise she wasn't expecting. Things took an interesting turn form there.

While this book complete the HEA for Kat and Lann, there is more to come with this group. I have to admit, I am so intrigued about a new character introduced in this book and whether they will be mentioned again in upcoming books. The author really made me feel for this side character and I hope we get to see him saved later on.

Wow! This book was nothing like I was expecting. I went into it completely blind, no blurb or reviews. After the initial storyline was established I was pretty sure where this was going and was mentally predicting what might happen. I couldn’t have been more wrong!

This has so much action, drama and angst mixed in with the romance that I could not stop reading. I refused to answer the phone and ignored all messages. I had to find out what was going to happen. My heart was being torn in two at times and while I knew I’d eventually get a happy ever after, I could not figure out how it was going to happen.

I loved Lann and Kat in the previous book but reading about their struggles here pushed me into total adoration. I also find myself falling further into this magical world and curious about the man that’s at the heart of these characters' concerns. As this ended, my heart lurched and I sobbed out a breath with the last line. Thank goodness the next book is right around the corner!

5 'Big' stars from me

What a big twist in the story!! I am stunned, again an excellent job from the author after reading Aeromancist,The beginning i didn't expect things turn out this way. I'm super happy about this story it's my favorite so far in the series.
This is the second book of the series (third after the prequel Aeromancist,The beginning ), as i said
in the prequel Lann Dréan is the hero in this book he is Russian and guess what he is an
AEROMANCIST he stays in his house in Santiago and he wants peace for a little time...scratch that,
this is the last thing he's gonna get because Katherine White walks into his life and beside his 'air' she moves
everything in his life...(everything he knows and he's confident about will shake...i hope forever). Katherine White
is an American literature student and she goes to his house for his library which is full of ancient books.
Everything seems fine to me...mmm but its not he wants, she want him, unfortunately he can't give her much but only
thirty days because with a gift like his, he's hunted. This book has left us where the third day contract has ended,
i can't say many things because it has a good twist and i don't want to spoil.

But i can i say a few things about the characters which i have already mentioned in the prequel review Lann is the Sexy,
Alpha male with fierce and dominant personality, nothing can get in his way from getting what he wants (i wouldn't expect nothing less).
Kat is sweet, shy, caring with a strong personality with is revealed in this book (i wish i could say more but once again
i don't want to spoil). The plot is evolving really fast, in addition strong emotions are revealed in this book love, anger, disbelief, fear and hope. The story
is full of them it doesn't leave you impassive from my point of view i have to say say that i got into the story and felt
each on of them (and believe me it was a great journey). If you haven't already fall in love with the characters from the prequel, you definitely wanna do it
in this part. The secondary characters are the fine touch in the story and the ending its very sweet i definitely recommend it and
i really looking forward to read Maya's story.
Ending it i would like to add my congrats to the artist of the cover, its really beautiful!!

Aeromancist is the conclusion to Katherine and Lann's story and it was heartbreaking, passionate, and intense. I enjoyed it a lot but it had a different "feel" to it when compared to the prequel, which emphasized on the romance more. In this installment, Katherine and Lann are both faced with a difficult choice and I struggled to read it because I could not imagine an ending where they were not living happily ever after. This feeling of impending doom was looming over their heads the entire time. The romance didn't necessarily take a back seat but the mystery behind Godfrey and why he wanted Lann and Katherine to meet took the stage front and center.

Lann and Katherine go through a lot in this book. At the beginning of the book, our main couple is no longer together and their 30 days of a no strings sexual relationship is over. Katherine has fallen in love with Lann but he no longer wants to be with her... or does he? In any case, Katherine ends up realizing a shocking revelation that will eventually lead her to meet Lann once again.

For those of you who read Pyromancist, you would know that Lann is no "ordinary human." He is an Aeromancist and is part of an secret organization. Katherine certainly doesn't know about this but she has always felt that Lann was different. After their reunion, much of the story takes place in France where Katherine is forced to stay because of her condition. Without going into spoilers territory, the rest of the book was brutally heartbreaking. Remember that feeling of impending doom? Well, the time is ticking for Katherine and without a resolution, Lann is about to lose the love of his life.

In the end, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to Maya and Tim's story next. While reading Aeromancist, I did notice some slight changes and additions to the book which I thought added more depth and nuance to the story. Katherine and Lann's story was unforgettable, sexy, and rather dark at times but it was also full of love and passion. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely spectacular!
I absolutley loved Lann and Katherine's story! From the euphoric moments to the devastation and chaos this story kept me hopelessly captured from the very first page to the very last word.
Kat's turmoil of having her baby, safely, was shaken by the reality of what would happen at the end of nine months. As a mother, I felt her sorrow and her resolve as though it was happening directly to me.
This series is phenomenal!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review.

This is the third book in the Seven Forbidden Arts series. I loved it!

Lann Dréan is a complex character. I liked this man very much. He can come across as cool and aloof at times but, this hides his deeply felt emotions. He knows that if he lets his emotions out, his ability to control air could cause serious damage. He entered a contract with Katherine White, never expecting to see her again after thirty days, but when she comes to him with some unexpected news, he finds himself having to protect her from a dangerous foe.

Katherine White is a wonderful character. I liked her very much but felt that she wasn't given enough rein by the author to fully explore her strengths. She came across as strong willed, but seemed to submit too easily to Lann's authority. I don't know if this is a good thing or not. Maybe it has something to do with their contract/relationship in book two.

Having previously read 'The Astronomer' which was written by this author, I was pleased when she contacted me, asking if I would like to read this one. I quickly took her up on her offer. However, I think it would have been better for me to read the series from the beginning, rather than from just book 3. This is because there are references made to events that happened to the characters in book one and two which completely went over my head. There are also conversations between characters that seem to be continued from earlier too. But, this is only the small gripe I have.

Once I got over the confusion, I was quickly pulled in and I didn't put the book down until I had finished it. There are many paranormal romances out there that touch on the elements of fire, air, water and earth, but this series seems to be unique. The author has created a world where wielding an element is forbidden. If found out, dire consequences follow. The characters come alive on the page and I found myself on a roller coaster ride of emotion, especially when Katherine finds herself in a very difficult situation. I really felt for both protagonists as they came to terms with something that could potentially break their spirits, if not take their lives.

There are also a couple of interesting characters introduced. I didn't like the creepy Adam; he made my skin crawl. However, I did feel sorry for Nicholas and the way Adam treated him (as if he was a bug under his shoe). Joss and Clelia return in the book and, although I haven't read their story, their love is palpable. Speaking of palpable, the heat generated by Lann and Kat is definitely hot. There are explicit scenes in this book that had me wanting to grab a cold drink to cool off! Talk about scorching! There is also a lot of danger and intrigue mixed in to make this one series I am looking forward to continuing. However, don't make my mistake. Read the first two books in the series before starting this one.

Charmaine Pauls has written an entertaining standalone erotic romance. Her characters are lifelike and come alive on the page. I love her fast paced writing style and the flow is wonderful. I would definitely consider reading more of her books in the future.

Due to the explicit nature of some of the scenes, as well as use of foul language, I do not recommend this book to readers under the age of 18. I do, however, recommend this book if you love science fiction, erotica, erotic romance or paranormal romance genres. – Lynn Worton

Second Edition Review: (December 4, 2020)

The second story of the Seven Forbidden Arts paranormal romance series is more emotion than action driven. Aeromancist Lann Dréan possesses a usually calm cool demeanour that matches the icy control he has over the air and weather. But, the moment he met his soulmate Katherine White, she moved the air around him and sealed their future into an inescapable vortex.

After a whirlwind thirty day affair, Lann cuts off all ties with Kat, refusing to see her ever again. His involvement as a soldier in the Forbidden Arts Task Force is dangerous and those close to him will be endangered and hunted, he reasons. His efforts to set Kat “free” backfire spectacularly, as she suffers the mother-of-all pregnancy consequences.

Charmaine Paul’s does a thunderously good job of evoking the painful loneliness, wretched sadness, chilling fears, scorching longings and all the host of stormy feels that assail this beautiful couple. Will their baby survive? Will Kat?

Kat comes through as a very strong and enduring heroine in order to survive the spirit-crushing challenges that she faces. She’s the perfect complement for the formidable aeromancist whose power could decide the fate of nations through drought, deluge, or typhoon.

First Edition Review: (November 29, 2017)

So deeply, emotionally romantic!

Honestly, at first I thought the story was moving too slowly. I love romantic stories with “added value” like mystery, suspense, action, or some sort of unexpected twist. But for a series built around a “paranormal crime task force” there was not as much action or demonstrations of forbidden powers as I had hoped.

However, there is definitely something else that I feel deeply. Heart.

At one point, our heroine, Kat, has an epiphany about the immense power of her aeromancist lover, Lann. Lann can control the air and the weather. He can bring on the next Ice Age. He can cause or resolve droughts or hurricanes. The fact that he honours his vow to use his power only for good, is awesome. What he doesn’t do says so much more about his character than all his possible flashy tricks. Lann focuses all his wickedly hot capabilities on loving Kat. In return, she is a braver more forgiving partner than he could have ever asked for. Their beautiful love story leaves me wistful and in awe, and earns 4.5 ⭐️ stars.

I was gifted my copy direct from the author, and I thank Ms Pauls for that.

This is book 3 in the series, and you really must read book two, Aeromancist : The Beginning, before you embark on this one. This is a continuation of that story, and picks up two weeks after that one finished.

Two weeks after Lann left her, Katherine makes a discovery that rocks her, and Lann, to their very core. Lann is now forced to choose: his legacy, or the love of his live, Katherine.

Its really hard to write a review without giving ANY of the plot line away, so I apologise is I slip up, but I'm going to try really REALLY hard not to!

I eagerly awaited this instalment, after being left hanging from book two, and it did not disappoint!

After Katherine's discovery and Lann's confession, they are faced with a terrible decision and Katherine, unable to make that decision, runs. Can't say I blame her. But when Lann saves her from those who wish to harm her, she knows she should stay with Lann, even if it means her end.

I mentioned in my review for book two, that we don't get enough of Lann. We do here! Its even spaced out, between Lann and Katherine having their say, in the third person.

There are bigger, darker forces at work in the book, and some of that story arc will have to run over into any future books, as its left open ended and unfinished. I would like to think that Nicholas will pop up again at some point, if only to help bring Godfrey to account for his actions.

Joss, Clelia, Maya, Bono and Cain all play a part, and I was glad to catch up with them. I did feel for Clelia though, at points, when she was talking with Katherine. Her hope, and pain, jumped off the page. I'm glad she has more hope now, though.

Who is next?? I've no idea. Bono will fall hard and fast, and Maya? She'll fight it all the way, tooth and nail. Maybe, Ms Pauls will throw someone new in the mix, with an Art we have yet to come across. I don't care, really, just as long as I don't have to wait too long! Are you listening to me, Ms Pauls?!?! Not too long!!

In Aeromancist, author Charmaine Pauls weaves an intriguing paranormal erotic tale that follows the dramatic trials and tribulations that befalls lovers Lann Drean and Katherine White after they spend thirty passionate days together.

Lann, aka The Weatherman, has the supernatural ability of being able to control the weather. Kat is a normal woman who falls for Lann, and after spending thirty passionate days together, Lann's supernatural abilities has unfortunately put Kat's life in peril, which spurs him on to save her at any cost.

Aeromancist is a well-written paranormal erotic tale that is part of the Seven Forbidden Arts Series. While this can be a stand alone read, I would suggest that you read the series in sequential order so that you can follow the continuation of the storyline in each book of the series. That being said, I am normally not a fan of paranormal stories, but I couldn't resist reading this book as part of a virtual book tour that I coordinated, and I am glad that I did. Author Charmaine Pauls easily draws the reader into Lann and Kat's story, you can't help but get caught up in the great mixture of erotic romance, paranormal activities, and suspense that is intertwined throughout the story. The storyline flows so smoothly that you don't even realize how many pages you have read until you get to the dramatic conclusion. This story left me wanting more and very interested in finding out what the storylines / themes will be in the rest of the series, that I have decided to go back and read the series in sequential order.

If you want to read an enjoyable paranormal erotic romance series that will transport you to another realm, than I highly recommend that you read the Seven Forbidden Arts Series!

Thank you Charmaine for introducing me to the paranormal erotic romance genre, you have gained a new fan, and I look forward to reading many more of your novels in the future.

While technically this book can act as a stand alone novel, I would have preferred to read the first one before I read this. I missed the entire thirty days of Lann and Katherine's relationship which is kind of crucial to understanding why Katherine is so hard on him. But that aside, I really enjoyed this book.
It's a paranormal romance and quite honestly, I can't say that I have ever read a book where the paranormal element isn't the person turning into something but more being able to control a worldly element. In Lann's situation, he can control weather/storms. Katherine is just a regular ol' human gal who stupidly falls in love with a guy who can't possibly give her normal, but she doesn't care, she jumps at the opportunity of the 30 days. Except now the 30 days is done and she finds herself in a really horrible predicament, one that involves her contacting Lann, expressly violating the terms of their agreement.
Of course when she explains to him her situation, he doesn't believe her, and she's rightfully upset yet stupidly determined. She ends up doing what all heroines do in romance novels, and puts herself in ridiculous danger because she's stubborn and refuses to just do what she's told. Cue Lann being the testosterone fueled hero determined to save her at all costs.
I have to say, I really enjoyed this book. The romance scenes were erotic enough to be entertaining yet not over the top. I can't say I've read books with breath play, which sounds absolutely terrifying yet the author makes it erotic enough that your curiosity is piqued. It is a paranormal romance so while we are heavy on romance we are also heavy on a paranormal story line, which is absolutely fascinating and so well written- I really enjoyed them. It's like having a whole new world open up to you beyond vampires, weres, demons, fallen angels, etc. It's refreshing to have a whole new paranormal society out there for us to enjoy. I really enjoyed this book. I'm going to have to go back to read book one and keep my eye out for the rest of this series- I want to know where the author is taking us.

'Aeromancist' is book 3 in the Seven Forbidden Arts series and it's complemented with the novella 'Aeromancist, The Beginning'. (If you read the prequel you will get a better understanding of the story).

The story begins right after Lann has left Santiago and Katherine needs to move on. But the impossible happens and she needs to contact him once more. The consequences of their time together will put Kat's life at risk and all his team. Someone is threatening their safety and their investigation will lead them to some shocking revelations.

The characters continue evolving and Katherine becomes my favorite. She is put in a difficult situation and walks through it with her head held high. There were emotional moments that almost made me cry. The feelings are palpable and the anguish that comes with the acceptance of her fate is very real. Lann shows us his vulnerable side and it's impossible not to love him. Their relationship keeps growing and despite some doubts, facts prove that they truly love each other. This time, there is no tension between Lann and Kat but the passion is ten times better. The temperature rises and reaches unbelievable degrees of hot.

If you read my review for the novella you will see that I complained about the paranormal element. Maybe because of the length of this book here we have a book with a solid paranormal component. The powers of each character are used for the better good and they all have a part to play.

Now, this book has a solid plot, a great writing style, complex characters and high doses of romance. But the final chapters felt rushed. I didn't like how it was solved, it was too quick and too simple. And there is a time frame missing (months) that got me wondering what happened? did they find out something valuable??

Overall, is another great book by Charmaine. She brings us ardent books and leaves us waiting for more.

Charmaine Pauls has the perfect blend of paranormal, suspense, romance and erotica. I love reading her books so much that I take my time with them and really hate to finish. I find myself reading too fast and realize that I'll be without the characters for a while...so I slow it all the way down. Even still, I love this series and can't get enough!

So to continue the series, you meet and get personal with Lann Drean, an aeromancist (aka a person that controls weather). He is wonderfully intellectual (owns and is refurbishing an antique library) and is very tough yet gentle. He has his issues with jealousy but nothing like Josselin, his team leader. He definitely lets others know what is his and not to trespass on his territory. Anyway, Lann accidentally gets Kat pregnant. He's shocked because he believed he was infertile. The push and pull of Kat and Lann at the beginning of the pregnancy was ah-maaazzzing! It was so realistic how Kat harbored her own pain and distanced herself from him even though she was falling for him. Also, Lann did not know who to trust and wrestled with himself to let Kat into his once solitary lifestyle. The way Pauls wrote this couple has an edge of reality and you feel like you could relate to what each person was feeling.

Unfortunately, Kat's baby is not only important to her and Lann. They are chased by a threat that wants the baby for himself. This is where the action ramps up and the pages fly by. I thoroughly enjoyed Pauls' second addition to the series (not counting the prequel). Read it to find out what happens to the baby and Kat.

This is a continuation of Lann and Kat's story. This is after the contracted 30 days have finished. I didn't read that book so came in from the cold straight into this with a backstory already build between these two.

Kat trying to stick to the contract, only to realise that those thirty days delivered her unexpected news and when she goes to see Lann with this news, it throws everything out the window. Her issue brings problems for the group. There were a lot of secretive plans made, when the situation they found themselves in beoming one of life and death.

Not wanting to give too much away, the decision they have to make is a tough call and one that shows that the battle between the good guys and the bad guys is just beginning, or at least has taken another turn as their are more people out there with answers to questions the team have.

The characters were interesting, Lann with his mysterious power which unfortunately i didn't understand until the bad guy explained it to Kat. Kat i found although confident, there were a few instances where she stood her ground, but gave way too easily with Lann forceful character.

I liked meting Joss, Maya, Clecia and the others , as they being there helped the story move along quite nicely. I would say, this is best read after reading the prequel, if you want to totally understand Lann and Kat's relationship, and his fears.

The pacing was unfortunately a bit slow, and I didn't get into this as much as i would have liked.

My thanks to Reading Alley for a copy of this book for an honest review.

This is Lann’s book two of two. Loved this one!!! It was packed with action, suspense, and great sex :) all tied in a nice little package!

This book is more like what I was expecting and I truly enjoyed it.

Couple of things I would like to bring up, first how did Cain and his team not realize who was behind the whole mess. I mean wasn’t the purchase of massive amounts of communication a dead giveaway. The first book “Loving The Enemy” introduced us to Godfrey (not his name on the first book by the way) but we were made aware that he wanted to buy up as much of the communication channels as possible so when this came up again I knew it had to be the same guy. I was under the impression that Cain and his contacts were smarter and that they would be able to tie the similarities together. Makes me wonder if this was a miss or if it was done intentional. The other thing was the fact that Lann didn’t come up with Vanessa’s name once he knew that it was a reporter feeding the FBI information. She should have been his first suspect yet, it was as if he didn’t remember she existed or that she had been after him the entire time he was in Santiago.

I am glad everything worked out at the end. It would be nice to know how the baby turns up. Maybe he will do a cameo on another characters’ story *wink*

The continuation of Lann and Kat's story starts two weeks after The Beginning ends. I would say that you don't need to have read that novella, but it certainly helped, and I wouldn't have wanted to read this without that, but that's just me.

This review may be short, as I don't give away spoilers. Kat and Lann's relationship isn't over, for a number of reasons. One thing they do have to do though, is make a decision about something. All I can say is what a terrible, horrible decision to have to make. The reactions and behaviour of those involved, and their friends, made it all the more believable.

Old enemies come into play, and the overall story arc moves along with fresh intrigue and twists. Old friends are shown in this book too, and I loved the friendship that comes into play between Kat, Clelia and Maya.

Best in the series so far for me, loved every word. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, original, sexy.
This is the second book in a series, but can be read as a stand alone. I had not read the first one, but still enjoyed this book immensely.
The premise is paranormal, but I new take on it I had never seen before. Our main characters are Lann and Kat. He is unique and gifted, but did't let her know while they were having their brief sexy affair. Kat falls pregnant and Lann wants her to have an abortion. She does not want to terminate, even when Lann tells her that she will surely die if she has the baby, all mothers of such babies die. There follows a wonderfully exciting, pacey story that has many tests and turns, but ultimately a HEA for our couple.
Recommended for all fans of erotic stories with a supernatural twist.

Lann Dréan lives a different kind of life. He has "unique talents" that are in high demand. They also make him a target for the less savory. With his lifestyle being what it is- he opts for loneliness.

But he had something spectacular, once upon...okay a month ago! Jackass gave it up! Like air stirring chemistry comes along everyday, what an idiot! Only now it's not just him who is in danger...

Lann has much to prove to Kat. He has to protect her. He has to do what's best for her. Will she allow him to be a part of her life anymore?

I had tears in my eyes two distinct times. See if you can figure them out. Aeromancist is a second chance romance with plenty of paranormal oddities. Piranhas....need I say more! I know they are stand-alones but I'm having a blast whipping through these.

the series does need to be read in order for complete and total understanding. If you are a friend of paranormal beings erotica or just a great storyline this series will be for you. in this installment we follow Kat on her journey with an unexpected twist. the love and relationship between them Blossoms and we get a nice little bonus. The author did a fantastic job with the storyline its unique and fast paced and keep she pulled in from the very beginning. I love the characters and then we see both the good and bad sides. the author did a great job keeping this hot steamy erotica read alive with an actual storyline. most authors or so focused on one that they lose the other but that is not the case in the series. fantastic read and I cannot wait for more!

Drean Droolworthy!

The tales of paranormal Alpha males in the Seven Forbidden Arts series continues well with this book!!
Lann, the aeromancist meets Kat; the studious scholar looking to complete her work in his very own library. Lann is intellectual, handsome, rich and likes to lavish and pamper his women. He is immediately attracted to Kat and proceeds to offer her 30 days of unrivaled passion.

The story is a great beginning to Kat and Lann’s relationship. It’s very much Pretty Woman-esque and leaves the reader with a desire to know what will happen between the two in the next book, Aeromancist (Book Two). I can’t wait to continue on with this fire hot series!

Wow! What can I say? This series just keeps getting better!

Beautifully written, sexy, heartbreaking and uplifting Aeromancist had me hooked from page 1 and just did not let go. With intrigue and suspense aplenty, this fast paced story kept me turning pages.

The characters are realistic and compelling and I really enjoyed Kat and Lann's tragic love that by some miraculous writing manages to become an HEA!

I highly recommend this book, and indeed this series, to anyone who enjoys sexy, romantic intrigue.

Awesome Book

This the first book I have read by Charmaine Pauls and her books are definitely going on my TBR list.
I loved how it was very fast-paced but with the right amount of romance and action. I was hooked right away and I had a difficult time putting it down until I finished it.
Looking forward to more from this author

This book continues from the novella and in order to understand fully what is going on I would recommend to read the other book first but not necessary. Wow so much goes on in this book. Lann and Katherine story continues and is heartbreaking to read. I couldn't put it down. Once you start you won't be able to start. A must read series... Can't wait to read more.

Different
This was different from the usual paranormal plot. I liked the twist. The immediate drama drew me in. The following solution kept me reading. It was hard to put down. Lann and Kat's story had so much chemistry. It was a great read. I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher through Reading Alley in exchange for an honest review.

This book picks up right after the events of book 2.
The Hero reveals his reasons for the 30 day contract.
He was a bit frustrating how much he kept form her despite advice from others.
During any separation neither are with anyone else.
Quite a sad separation.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
Quite a lot of sex scenes.
HEA in form of HFN but as the series is about a team who work together to achieve the same goal I think we will see their HEA throughout the series.
Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series and previous characters and the couple from the previous book appear.
