This is an interesting collection of tales gleaned from newspapers and personal accounts from the last 200 or so years that tell of ghostly and paranormal events across Canada. Each story is preceeded by a short introduction explaining the origin of the story and each chapter is divided into different types according to location and type. While I did find this collection really interesting at first, it did become quite repetetive quite quickly, both within chapters and between chapters, with a lot of feelings and half-sightings. There also seemed a lack of investigation and no clarity offered around how believable and/or likely each story was/is, which could've added some weight and credence to the book as a whole.
