A fairly basic introduction to bellydance by the founder of FatChance BellyDance and American Tribal Style. Things I liked: gave some unique descriptions of moves that helped me to access certain muscles better, the accompanying DVD has some excerpts from the FatChance DVD series which are pricey in a kit that costs $15 and you can get from most Barnes and Nobles, spiral binding rocks on instructional books. Middling: like I stated, a very basic introduction. Limited movement vocabulary. I think it's hard for a book to explain physical activities very well (again, accompanying DVD is a great aide). Dislike: I kind of wish Caroleena would have demoed the moves instead of using the typical model looking, well, model - just a personal preference.

All in all, the DVD more then makes up the price of the kit and the book is useful if not great.
