Hallelujah, Jake Bible finally published another Roak book! This one definitely didn’t disappoint. Just as full of violence and mayhem as the previous books, with just the right amount of humour thrown in. I’m so glad that I read the Drop Team Zero books before this came out - I really love it when separate series intertwine. I also have Outpost Hell sitting on my shelf waiting to be read, and it’s gotten bumped up on my list of books to read sooner rather than later. I’m a bit sad that the next book will mean the end of the series, but also excited, since it’s supposed to be released fairly soon. I can’t wait to see how both Roak and Hessa deal with the information that was dumped on them on the last page.
“Quantum Chaos...,” the fifth or sixth book [lost count] continues the snarky, vomit-filled adventures of Galactic Bounty Hunter, Roak.
It’s not bad nor good, simply adequate. The series is stale, with what made the first couple of books good reads runintothe ground over and over again; played out.
Additionally, Mr. Jake Bible’s writing has digressed with hideous & avoidable gaffes in his heretofore skilled writing skill set. ‘Eye rolling’ and ‘smirks’ are just two examples of author laziness.
The totally overused phrase 8 million .... has become sonominous with this series and just like Roak is the bounty hunter that always gets paid no matter the cost ,this book takes a slightly different tact and reveals just how much the previous books have been setting things up for the ending. Our fav character isn't just the gruff one dimensional agent of chaos but a carefully guided force for good or close enough. After all, he is Roak ,and certain thungs always happen for the readers great enjoyment.
It's been way too long since the last Roak book but I'm so glad the author is continuing the series. Following Roak and his not-Team fight bad guys, get into all sorts of chaotic trouble, and have some of the best, funniest dialogue I've ever read, makes this series one of my all-time favorites. The ending though...what a twist! Can't wait to see what the next book holds.
Another romp with Road and friends with hilarity in the dialogue and heaps of action. I looked Jake's GF universe and just hope he gets a new salvage merchant ONE as well since the situations are even my hilarious. Love this series and universe so much
It's been a long wait, but Roak is back. This was a fast paced and totally OTT light-hearted adventure, which is what you want from a Roak and team (not a team) story. The not a team dynamic is again very good, yellow eyes on top form, roll on the next book.
I tried to guess how this book goes Like the end , but only until very end when.it gets told its always a surprises. I love everything about this book series I honestly wish they make tv series out of this.
Great book love the story and the book narration I was worried about Jake doing the narration but it sounds great I love the book series can’t wait for the next one I highly recommend listening to this book 📖⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😀👍
