From rekindling romance to a mystery, this is a great story. I couldn't stop reading. The characters and the story line are well written. I received a copy from the author and this is my personal honest opinion. No review was required.

The Inn at Cherry BLossom Lane, written by Jennifer Vander Klipp, is a standalone novella.
Once again, Vander Klipp surprised me with well-developed characters in this story. I thoroughly expected to come away from this standalone wanting, but instead am thrilled to have been honored to read it. We meet two characters which had known each other fifteen years previously...both had grown up in less than perfect families. Yet, a bond from their younger years was still quite evident after their first conversation seeing each other after so long. I liked how there was a bit of mystery, a touch of suspense and of course, romance within this story.
I would recommend this story for teens on up...for those looking for second chances, building confidence, and for those who need to know that success in life and relationships don't just happen but that they take work.
I was given a copy of this book from the author. All thoughts and comments are my own.

I want to jump in and live in this book. The setting was beautiful, the characters are engaging, and I can totally picture myself at this B&B. It did not take me long to fall in love with this story, the house and the characters. It was vivid in my mind and quite honestly I didn't want to leave. I hope there is more to come from this B&B!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Inn at Cherry Blossom Lane by Jennifer Vander Klipp.
A story of rekindled love and a mystery.

Claire has gone back to her Grandmother’s old house to turn it into a Bed And Breakfast with the help of carpenter Alex, who just happens to be a childhood sweetheart. She, her daughter, Lizzie, and her grandmother have moved to the carriage house and Alex is working on making the main house and the barn into a premiere wedding venue. Will Alex and Claire build on what they once had? A secret room and a missing artifact bring publicity but could it bring danger, too? Will they get done in time to satisfy a picky bride?
It was a clever touch to have Grandma stay home to read the “latest Liz Tolsma novel” while Alex, Claire and Lizzy had a bonfire on the beach! A very interesting read. I like books about fixing up old houses.
* I recieved this book for review. All opinions are my own.*

I so loved this novella. Jennifer's books are so good. Her characters are always well developed. Plus such great sweet romance. I share these with my teen granddaughter. This one is great about a pass true love. Claire and her grandmother have decided to turn her home into a B&B. And have hired Alex to help them get everything up to code. But their is a old story that goes with the place and can lead them to danger. Their home is broke into and home is trashed as well as the barn they are turning into a place to have weddings or gatherings. Really putting them in a bind for time when someone is damaging things. Can they catch who it is before it is to late and Clair loses everything? You won't want to miss this great story by Jennifer Vander Klipp .

A sweet and quick read of beginning a new life after divorce, and rekindling a part of your childhood to share with your own child.
I was quickly page turning and hoping for a restart of an old romance, and then quickly a bit of mystery got added in, and what more could I want. An enjoyable read.

I received this book Bibliophile Reviews, and was not required to give a positive review.

Grandmother had a dream to turn her historic home into a B & B, and have Claire run it. Welcoming her and her daughter home, the memories of summers, still remain. To fix up the place, her grandmother is doing a little matchmaking. A delightful book to read, of second chances, at love and with happy memories.

I would definitely classify this as a sweet contemporary romance. It was such a cute read. Even had a little mystery thrown in there. Claire and Alex have been friends all their lives and now they are joining forces to get a bed and breakfast started up. It was a nice and relaxed read about these two friends and how their relationship was and what it's growing into as they work together.

Claire Thornton goes back to her grandmother’s home to turn it into a bed and breakfast and hire Alex to bring the house back to life. Claire and Alex once had a previous romance and try to rekindle their romance. This romance story is wonderfully written and I truly enjoyed reading it.

It was spellbinding as her other books. I felt I was right there with Claire, Lizzy, Grandma & Alex. Having a secret room that they didn't know about was interesting.

Very sweet novella. I really enjoyed the characters, setting, and the idea of them opening a B and B. I just wish the story was longer; however, I would still classify this as a sweet read.

A beautifully written story that grabs you early and keeps you entertained as this book unfolds. The storyline lets you take strolls down memory lane as Claire & Alex get a second chance at their unrequited love as teenagers. Alex is helping Claire turn her grandma's home into a B & B when some nefarious things begin to happen. The characters themselves just pull you in for a cup of coffee, spending a day at the beach or watching the stars come up in the night sky over Lake Michigan. It was so well written you want to join them making Smores and looking at the Milky Way. Just a touching and inspirational story that I would recommend.

I received an ARC copy of this book. This is my voluntary, honest, and completely personal review.

I could not put this great little book down, until I had finished reading every word. Claire is coming back home, with her her 10 year old daughter, after her husband has left her. She’s going to help her grandma turn her house into a B&B, so they will both have a way to make a good living and be with her daughter, instead of going outside of the home to work. Her old “almost” fiancé is the carpenter that Grandma hired…isn’t that interesting?? Yes, it IS and WAS extremely interesting!! I loved the characters, all 4 of them, and I loved the happy ending. I know you’re going to love it, too! 💖💙

The storyline was an interesting idea and I would have enjoyed it more if it had been a longer book. There weren’t enough details to the story. I didn’t feel that I actually knew the characters. And the couple kissed more times than they actually had a conversation. The interactions seemed short and I just had to guess about what might have happened in between that would have helped them overcome their past problems, which were only hinted at.

Quick read. Contemporary. Alex and Claire work together after being separated for several years. She had been married and had a little girl. After her divorce she moved back to her grandmother's, and they started building a bed and breakfast. Interesting story with romance and a bit of danger. Keeps you interested till the end.

Nice light read. I needed something that was easy and light and this fit. Fairly predictable and no real surprises. A bit like reading a Hallmark Movie.

Short story

It was a cute book. But very short. Almost too predictable. Only a couple surprises. The main female character was very emotional.
