The Fallen are gone.
The world is at peace.
But the belief that the danger they pose has vanished is only an illusion.

For the last seven years Delaney McPhearson has led a quiet life. She’s used her notoriety to start charitable works across the globe.

Yet her world remains unsettled.

Max’s prophesy for the future lays heavily on her mind. She’s kept that message of a violent showdown from her friends and family, wanting them to enjoy the peace they’ve so painfully earned. For Laney though, each moment of joy is accompanied by a ticking clock counting down.

And now the ticking has stopped. An old enemy returns and is trying to turn back the clock to a time when the Fallen had their powers. Laney must jump into the fight again. But after so much time, is she still up to the task?

Series, The Unwelcome Trilogy, and the latest addition, the Shadow Directive series, including Predator Dominion.

Whether it's a global genetic conspiracy, an ancient civilization buried beneath modern myths, or a killer storm trapping a wrongly accused man, R.D.'s books deliver the adrenaline, mystery, and emotional depth that fans of Michael Crichton, Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child, and James Rollins crave.

When not writing, R.D. teaches martial arts, runs with her dogs, and tends to her garden. Under the pen name Sadie Hobbes, she also writes sharp, fast-paced urban fantasy thrillers.

Addictive! A flawless blend of alternate history and science fiction!

R.D. Brady’s The Belial Rebirth continues the Belial Series saga with a fascinating twist. The alternate history and sci-fi plot lines will keep you turning pages, but it’s the characters that will keep you coming back. Delaney McPhearson, the heroine of the Belial Series, is the strong, kick-ass yet vulnerable woman everyone would love to know. The Belial Rebirth family is broad and deep ensuring every reader can find someone to identify with, drawing them into the story, and making them a part of the adventure. If you’re looking for a story to stir your adrenaline and pluck at your heart strings, you can’t do better than The Belial Rebirth. Can’t wait for the next installment!

Return to the Characters you Love

Brilliant way to reignite a series. The chapters seem at once familiar and yet not. The plot original and beyond creative. I simply cannot wait to see where this goes, and am so grateful it won’t be long. If you’ve never read the Belgian series you need to hop on now. These books are just incredible.

I thought this book was really great. I've thoroughly enjoyed all of the belial books. It's been quite a while since I've read the last belial book. My memory isn't what it used to be. I would recommend re-reading it as this book refers to situations that happened in Egypt that I just don't remember. It makes the references a little confusing. I mostly just let it go and enjoyed the book for the current story.

She’s back!

I’ve missed Laney and company. A few years have passed since the fallen lost their powers. Now an old enemy is trying to bring them back. He will try to kill her now and in the past. Laney will see what she had and lost, poor little Laney… Can’t wait to read the next book.

No surprise at all but this book is just as addicting as her previous Belial series. I’m so glad shes spinning off a series set a few years later since these characters and this series is one of my two favorites of all time.

Fascinating Continuation of the Belial Series

Featuring the same cast of characters but with new twists and turns from time travel, to Nazi technology to possibly more Belial stones floating around....this promises to be another pulse pounding series!

I’m so happy to be back in the Belial universe!
Just as Laney McPhearson thinks she’s done kicking Fallen butt, she’s dragged back (in). I’m so about this new series! If you haven’t started it, go back to the beginning and make it so!

The more things change....

Now that The Fallen are gone, one might understandably expect that things would quiet down for Delaney & the rest of them.

But what fun would that be?

great

This was interesting. I was confused by the fact Laney looked a lot like her not real mother. Other than that it was excellent.

Good story line. Sometimes it is difficult to follow the number of characters, still a good read: great winter series:
