I bought this for the rune poems and it delivered :) The format with the original text on the left side and a translation on the right is beautiful, since you can first marvel at the similarities of Old English, English and German and then read a good translation to get the rest of it. The notes on the bottom are quite hard to read for a non-expert, but I am pretty sure that I was not the intended audience when this book was written over 100 years ago ;)
I personally would have preferred translations closer to the orginial text - even with my knowledge of German and English I could see, that some of the lines where translated quite freely. But that's a personal choice.
