I am so sorry to say good-bye to this series. This is one amazing series featuring the most alpha men and courageous women. And I understand a spin-off is yet to come. Enjoy the finale of R.I.S.C. book 10, the story of Emma and Trace.
Their first encounter was just kinda a fluke. Neither of them know they would see each other again, but they did. Emma Cooper was just working at as a temp at her brother's job. Trace Watkins was starting his first day. They had seen each other while grabbing coffee, but who knew that later that day their lives would become more intermingled.
This crew has survived a lot. Now their leader wanted to retire, but it wouldn't be that easy. A stranger, a bomb, a threat to their team changed everything. In the midst, Emma and Trace were throw together....and neither of them wanted to throw the other back.
YES!!! A great finale to this awesome series. Great job Anna. I can't wait for the spin off.

WOW! Talk about an explosive beginning to this story. This story is about Emma and Trace. Basically this story is the start of the Charlie Team of RISC. The beginning was so sad since it involved Jake and his Alpha Team. But we get to know more about Trace and his new role. Even though there is an age difference, these two seem to be great together. Emma is a bada$$ in her own right. She did a lot of things just to survive. Now that Jake came out of his coma, we were able to see Trace and Emma start working on their happily ever after! FANTASTIC job Anna! I would recommend this book and this series! Can't wait for the next series!

Even though this is the ending to the RISC series it is the beginning of a new chapter in the series and His Greatest Risk was a great way to tie it all up! If you haven't read this series I highly recommend starting at the beginning because of the inter-connected characters. Trace Winters is an old friend of Jake's (the owner of RISC) and when Jake offers him a job to lead his newest Charlie team Trace is intrigued. The first person he meets is RISC's temporary office manager Emma Cooper (younger sister of Alpha teem member Sean) and the sparks immediately fly. The action takes off from the first chapter and doesn't stop until the very end. If Emma and Trace want the HEA that they both deserve then they are going to need to survive an unknown enemy and come out safely on the other side! I won't give away any spoilers but I will say that His Greatest Risk was told from dual POV and had plenty of laughs, tension, action and heat! I am looking forward to a new branch in this series soon.

Family and love
Trace and Emma. I was thrown by another book in this series as I thought Ryker finished out the Alpha team, but I loved meeting Trace and Emma. A former teammate and great friend to Jake and the sister/new receptionist. The story has a lot of danger and some very serious injuries with Jake being in ICU. The power Ryker has in this series is incredible and the fierceness Emma demonstrated in finding her own freedom when she was abducted was outstanding. The ending was sweet with Jake and the Alpha team, but also exciting for a new location, new team and thus a new spin off in this world!

AMAZING
This one completely blew me away. Absolutely adored Emma! She is spunky and sassy and can definitely hold her own. Trace is just that guy! Loved how they connected and the chemistry between them. Plenty of action, twist and surprises along with the heat and a overall great story. Looking forward to reading more in the new Charlie series.

this series grabbed me from book one and never let go. This is ending was amazing, as well as a great start for the spin off. I can not wait to read more by this author. she is amazing. her character development is exceptional. you are drawn into the story and you feel like these are rue friends of yours. this entire series is a must read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The finale of the fabulous RISC series is truly packed with some explosive action, plenty of suspense and an excellent plot as an evil man hell bent on revenge targets Jake McQueen and all those close to him. Emma Cooper makes a kickass heroine as she plunges head first into the action while temporarily working at RISC and the instant spark of chemistry she feels for sexy Trace Winters, the new head of RISC's Charlie Team, is definitely reciprocated. Trace is desperately determined to not mix work and pleasure but feisty Emma is more than a match for him. The hot attraction between Emma and Trace explodes as the whole team races to reveal the foe threatening them.
It was a great read and I thoroughly enjoyed the story but it isn't one of my favourites and yes, I do feel guilty for saying it but it just didn't quite always flow for me and very occasionally I was left expecting more, probably because I'm so not ready to let go of this series. I loved Trace but I always felt like I was waiting for something more from him, like we never quite got to see all of him. Maybe it was just a reaction to the end of a series I have loved and I am now certainly left impatiently waiting for the new series and Charlie Team's adventures.

This is book 10 and the last book in this series! I would absolutely read the previous books before this one as all of these characters have been seen in the previous books. Otherwise you may miss something that is was brought up before and mentioned in this book. With that being said, we get Trace's book!! So let me just say, this book has a LOT of action! There is a madman that is out to get Jake and everyone close to him is a target. I don't want to say a whole lot because honestly, I feel like that will spoil a lot of this book! Emma and Trace are awesome together. They have this chemistry right from the start that I loved. Emma is definitely sassy and I love my heroine's to have some sass and snark to them! Trace is the normal alpha male type but he also seemed a little uptight. On a whole, I loved almost everything about this book although I am really sad to see this portion of the series end. I am happy though that there will be a spin off series!! I can't wait to read that next!

What a great ending to this amazing series!!
This book was everything!! It has a new couple fighting for their HEA and entire team that you know and love fighting to help them. It was a great way to end everything.
First, I really liked this couple. I loved that there was an instant attraction but circumstances make it so they can't act on it right away. I feel like these two complimented each other so well. I liked the banter they both had. Also Trace was one hot man!!!
The suspense was out of this world. I loved that the author made Emma feel so real. She kept getting things thrown at her and she was handling it better than most of us would but yet she did have doubts and guilty and that felt really real to me.
I loved watching the entire team come together to help. It really felt like a finale to see all of them fight along side each other to help one of their own and also help start a new branch of R.I.S.C. I can't wait to read the new series!

Omg!

After the bomb the team discover there is someone after them all and looking to bring them down. With Jake out of commission it’s everyone’s responsibility to bring down those responsible and show that you don’t mess with family.
The suspense was unreal. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish we’d got to learn a bit more about Trace’s past and more about the incident were he’d lost control. I loved again how the team come together as a family and no one is left behind or forgotten - it’s very Ohana.
I’m gutted this series is now finished but really looking forward to reading Charlie Teams stories.

This is the final story in the R.I.S.C. Series, which makes me sad because it's such a good series! But this book is about Emma and Trace. Trace is friends with Jake, and Jake asks him if he'd like to head up one of the new teams he's going to be starting. Upon finalizing details and meeting the Alpha Team, Trace meets Emma, who is Coop's sister, and is also filling in as a receptionist at RISC when a bomb goes off in the office, injuring Mac and Jake pretty badly. Trace has to figure out who's targeting Emma and the Alpha Team before it's too late.
I loved Emma, she was a great character. She was strong, had a good head on her shoulders and was a total bad ass. I loved that! I also loved Trace. He wasn't an overbearing alpha-male, he was strong, kept calm, and he was a total teddy bear when it came to Emma.
This book had action, suspense and a great romance between Trace and Emma!

What an ending to a series, and to the start of the next. Trace walks into R.I.S.C for a meeting and the office blows up. One brief connection between Emma, Coop's sister and Trace is all it takes to build on. Someone is out to destroy the RISC guys, and Emma is also a target. Trace is the only odd man out that's not matched with someone so he steps in. I loved the inner dialogue for both characters and that they each think that they can hurt each other, but really, they've already crept into each other's heart. Loved the coffee or dessert, tattoos, privacy for an hour, oh, make that two hours, and breaking furniture. Intensity and intrigue from page one, could not stop turning the pages fast enough to find out what was going to happen next. Loved it. Can't wait for CHARLIE now.

Temporary office manager Emma Cooper’s surprised she’s offered the job permanently in the Chicago or Richmond offices. Celebrating the officer at the coffee shop across the street, Emma’s gob-smacked by a handsome, muscular man she’d like to know better in line for coffee too. Ten minutes later, Trace Winters is at Emma’s desk introducing himself as the team leader for the Richmond team.
Trace is annoyed with his own anti interoffice dating policy because he’d like to know Emma much better. While the guys meet, Emma reluctantly accepts a package for Jake that unsettled her but is guilt ridden when it explodes sending two team members to the hospital. That’s the tip of the iceberg as attempts are made on various team member’s lives and they scramble to determine who and why they’re targets while trying to evade them and a team member is taken!

The final book in Anna Blakely's R.I.S.C Alpha Team series is a superb ending to this stellar series. Do not despair though, there are spinoff series for Bravo, Charlie and Delta teams. His Greatest Risk is jam packed with suspense, explosive hard hitting action and lots of danger. The whole of Alpha Team are being hunted. Amidst all these events is the evolving love story between Trace Winters and Emma Cooper. Thrown together because of the danger they try but fail to ignore their attraction to the other. Emma manages to break through Trace's carefully and strongly erected walls. She's feisty, flirty, loving and strong. How can she not fall for this six foot five gorgous hunk of man? The final scenes will have you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what happens next. Great reading!

I was sad to see this series end but also excited to see Trace and Emma's story unfold. Their story comes to life during a mad man who is after the whole Alpha team including Emma. Trace must step in and help find said mad man while also keeping Emma safe which is a hard feat because of her stubborn side. He tries to fight his feelings but Emma doesn't make it easy. The series ending was everything I hoped it would be. An emotional rollercoaster, full of action, steam, romance and laughs along with tears. Make sure to have tissues handy because Anna sure puts you on the edge of your seat with the mad man going after Alpha team. I cant wait to see what the future holds for the next team.

I am incapable of picking a favorite book in Anna Blakely's Alpha Team R.I.S.C. series, but His Greatest Risk was absolutely addicting! Trace and Emma were an adorable and fiery couple to follow. This author knows how to bring on the heat not only in romance but also in suspense. There are so many nail biting moments throughout for all of our favorite characters in R.I.S.C. and readers will find themselves unable to stop reading to find out what will happen next. This may be the last book in the Alpha Team saga, which was this author's first series, but I am so excited to continue reading the spinoff projects from these incredible books!

He takes over protection of Emma Cooper, the only witness to the person delivering the bomb. Sexy new team member is a prefect match for the feisty temporary receptionist as they fall for each other through the action.
A wonderful ending for a terrific series. I look forward to reading more by Anna Blakely.

Another great book by Anna Blakely. When it comes to reviews i am not the greatest but i don't want to give anything away I want you to be just as eager to read the story as i was. I loved Trace and Emmas story, it had everything the suspense the action and all the romance you could want. it was the ending of one series and the beginning of another and i for one am a little sad but also excited for it. I promise you that you are going to be excited for this book. If you haven"t read the beginning of the R.I.S.C series you really need to it is great.

What a great ending to the Risc series but a also a great start to Anna's new series with the Charlie team. Trace and Emma were a great team to start the series. Both strong characters in a fast paced story that brought Alpha team all together to close their chapter and launch a new one ! Can't wait to see what's in store in the new series ! loved Trace and Emma's story. Lot's of suspense and danger, didn't want to put it down ! Great chemistry between Trace and Emma , I especially loved how strong Emma was in the storyline. Loved it !

Now that’s how you end a series! With quite a bang! While still setting us up and getting us ready for the new series, which can’t come soon enough! Trace didn’t realize what he was getting himself into when he agreed to work for his old teammate, Jake. Not to mention the pretty Emmy he meets that’s working out front. But when someone tries to take them all out, and Jake is injured, Trace jumps in with the Team to help out. Things go from bad to worse when Emma is taken but with all the twists and turns and the whole gang helping, it makes for one amazing read!

Absolutely loved His Greatest Risk, it's set at a fast pace filled with angst, suspense and love. I was on the edge of my seat from the beginning to end. Emma is the female lead and she is one tough character. She likes to have fun, has a huge heart and goes after what she wants. Trace is all alpha but the minute he seen Emma he fell hard. Overall a great addition to the series. I am very sad to see this series end, I am hoping we see Alpha team make appearances in Charlie Team. Happy Reading!!

You definitely don't want to wait to read this Authors stories. The beginning starts off with action packed surprises that draw you into this fascinating story. The tears will flow but we're reading about the Boss and his Alpha team! This entire read keeps you on the edge just waiting for the next thing coming whether it will be good news or bad, I couldn't stop reading until the end! I really hate to see this series end but I'm also thankful Anna Blakely is giving more as in the Charlie team! Yay!!!

I could not put His Greatest Risk down!! I was captivated from the first chapter. Anna Blakely wrote a powerful rollercoaster of a finale. I loved Trace and Emma’s story. It was sexy, suspenseful, and sweet all at the same time. I am sad to see the alpha team’s story ending, but I am excited for the new series. Hopefully alpha team will show up from time to time. I had the best time reading this book. I can’t wait for more from Anna Blakely!

I think this was the best book of the series but to make sure I’ll go back to the beginning and binge read them again. Trace is sweet and salty and Emma is spicy and sassy the perfect combination. Trace is all alpha and Emma is cunning and smart again perfect. I can’t wait to read the next and hope that there is plenty of appearances from the guys in the new series. Maybe a short story of a wedding or two .

Wow, what a great story! I couldn't stop reading once I started, finished this book in less than a day. Thank God for being on maternity leave and having a baby who likes to nap! I love how Emma Cooper is a spitfire, she doesn't put up with any crap--even from evil terrorist leaders. I look forward to reading more of the Charlie team.

Another great chapter in the RISC story!
Another great addition to RISC. These are great stories, with awesome characters. Emma and Trace are an excellent ending/beginning to this series and start of a new series.

The perfect ending to a great series and a wonderful beginning to a new one. Blakely takes us on a page turning, action packed, thrilling ride with all of the players from the series. Trace and Emma's story was icing on the cake. Emma went through so much but she was strong and was determined to fight to get back to her family and Trace. I am looking forward to the new series.

Non stop action
From the minute their eyes met across a coffee shop Trace and Emma felt a mutual attraction. Explosive on occasion. Trace, Emma and the rest of Alpha team fight to protect themselves from attacks that are trying to destroy RISC and them.
This sets up Charlie team beautifully and I look forward to hearing more about them soon.
