Aer-ki Jyr is one of the top 20 science fiction authors on Amazon due to his extremely long and ongoing space opera epic STAR FORCE, one of the longest military science fiction series ever written.
Survivors of war are alive and can rebuild. They are scarred, they are broken, but they are not dead. If we could totally take over a government of people and help them learn. To not fall into death traps of oligarchy and laziness then we succeed. But laziness cannot be the guiding principle in our society.
Another well written installment in this immensely enjoyable series. I find myself somewhat divided though. On the one hand I applaud the regular monthly installments yet on the other hand I wish they were longer and felt more like a meal than a snack but in the gripping hand the books read easily without the basic editing errors and voice to text errors that pervade much of Kindle Unlimited.
If you haven’t started this series yet, don’t be intimidated. This is a slow burn series, but not a complicated one with lots of different series and a difficult timeline to follow - just read book 1 and keep going to the next. Give it a few books (they’re short) and I think you’ll decide you love this series as much as I do. This book in particular is a good one, although sometimes it frustrates me how focused on one topic or event in this gigantic universe Aer can get, but then I remember that’s part of the charm and expert world building he is capable of. This book won’t reveal any great secrets like the last couple, but is part of the foundation this series is built on - the stories of individuals that Star Force impacts so strongly.
I have come back to continue reading the Saga, it is very good. There are a lot of. moving parts in the series. It is long running, so if you don’t want to be totally overwhelmed start at the beginning. There’s a lot to learn and it is well worth the time.
This is my favorite series of all time. I highly recommend it.Lots of action, lots of character development, great stories. The only negative is the books are short, but I can live with that.
Another well written book that begins to set the back drop for future galactic conquest. Noting new really for star force, but we get to see how the Neofan empire is currently doing.
I have read every book and enjoyed them all. I can’t wait for the next one. The only thing I would change is to make the booked read a little longer they are just too short.
I love how the author has taken us from such humble beginnings on Earth to an intergalactic Empire. I should say soon to be an intergalactic Empire . Just finished book 80 and I still can't put it down, the series.
