Nola Robertson grew up in the Midwest and eventually migrated to a rural town in New Mexico, where she lives with her husband and three cats, all with unique personalities and a lot of attitude.
Though she started her author career writing paranormal and sci-fi romance, it didn’t take long for her love of solving mysteries to have her writing cozies. When she’s not busy working on her next DIY project or reading, she’s plotting her next mystery adventure.
Rylee enters her cat, Barley, in a local costume competition. But when a judge is murdered, she is back in the mystery-solving business helping a desperate spirit! It becomes even more complicated when it seems that the clues are pointing to the cause of death being enchanted in nature. Can the gang find the answer and the killer before the magical forces gather to stop them?
This is an absolutely fun and crazy mystery that the reader will definitely enjoy! In addition to the delightful animals, there are many things happening to keep up the suspense. And blending in the supernatural elements makes the book perfect!
Rylee’s plans for a weekend getaway with the girls turns into chaos at the pet expo. The death of an organizer, magical poisons, and missing pets are a dangerous combo
So much for a mini vacation
Rylee learns more about the skills of her pals, her own developing skills, and the pet and talents of a few witchy friends
The paranormal might not be a world Rylee is comfortable with, but she seems to be getting drawn in more and more
Dastardly action, wild friendships and drama

If you are in a bad mood right now, you have come to the right place to change it. This magickal mystery involves spirits, witches, animals in costumes and hijinks. Plenty of banter and sass as well. The characters are totally loveable and different as night and day. The dead judge was very interesting. Such a fun and quirky adventure. I smiled and laughed so much and loved the storyline all the way through. Can not wait to read more by this author. I am hooked.

Rylee and her two besties always crack me up with their banter, and this weekend being a girls’ weekend away gave the trio plenty of time for that. But toss in a murder and maybe some stolen dog cases, and Rylee was right in the middle of another murder investigation. She had to’ve been missing Logan something fierce, but at least the local police seemed to be just as good as the ones at home.
The showdown was again slightly planned and the guilty had nowhere they could run. The best part about this case being over was they could finally make that hour-long drive and just go home.
These competitions and the rivalry certainly get out of hand in this story, suspects galore in a twisted journey to uncover who murdered Priscilla. I must admit to being worried Barley would become a victim so the suspense had me quite nervous. Thankfully the gang figure things out and send another spirit on its way. Interesting plot and fabulous characters go right along with the psycic and magical elements that are keeping me enthralled and entertained throughout.
I enjoyed reading this book, the interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. This book, has a good storyline, it is entertaining, and filled with action and intrigue. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
Rylee is attending a pet expo with her friends. Her cat Barley is entered in a costume competition and one of the judges is found dead. Rylee investigates. Great read, best enjoyed if other books in the series have been read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Rylee is back and this time she's entering Barley into a costume competition. As expected, things don't always work out as well as hoping. Now she's on another adventure to find the murderer before it's too late. Another cute tale is this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Characters are warm, friendly, likable and sometimes annoying. Plot flowed well, was well thought out and was exciting. Paranormal activity is cozy and helpful in solving the mysteries. The story had a satisfying conclusion. Rylee is becoming increasingly more comfortable with her abilities.
I had read another of her books before and enjoyed it. This one was just as good. Very well written and I kept reading until I finished it. It was a hard to put down book.

I really haven’t read much in the way of paranormal but can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed it. I enjoyed the author s way of writing and am curious to know if the author might be.......
A pet expo with a competition for best pet costume, which is a chance for Barley to shine. And an excuse for the friends to get away for a girls weekend together, which would have been great, except for the murder that lands right in front of their hotel room!
Another fun visit to Cumberpatch Cove with Rylee and her friends. Exciting easy read and a clever plot. Enjoyable.
