Have listened to better by this author....

Billionaire Banker Boxset 1-3 by Lexy Timms was, unfortunately, a disappointment. I could not finish listening to the end. Although the concept of the story line was interesting, it lacked the depth of story, character development, was repetitive and longwinded in its unfolding. The outcomes, character behaviors and their emotional instability was confusing, tiresome and distracting. I felt like I was listening to a "tennis match" that volleyed between the extremes of lustful love and hate. The main characters did not feel like they were grounded in the full spectrum of emotion. Melodrama was a constant and repetitive theme. The narration, although clear and concise, was delivered in a tone and cadence that was repetitive as well. There was no vocal acing to draw you into the character or story. Have listen to other books by this author that were good,

Deja vu - shared thoughts in all three books.

Did not feel like a had read this story before; however, there were several lines in all three books that could have been copied and pasted. Bethany's plot to take down the Sterling's seemed insincere. These stories were written very near the surface. Nothing to think about. Had it all figured out even before it happen. Bethany a designer, and no mention of a sewing machine or fabric until the last book? Didn't we know someone would recognize her at the wedding. Very surface no deep thinking required. We all need someone like Kirk in our lives. Did not understand his parents relationship. Did they not live together? As always the book just ended. Dare I mention the errors, misspellings, incorrect pronouns and wrong tenses. Sometimes we need to correct auto correct.

This 3 book box set is about Bethany and Kirk, a bank that was first owned by her father and lost to the Sterling family ten years ago. She starts out plotting revenge against the Sterling family for usurping the family business and framing her father for embezzling all the money. He is now being released from prison; Bethany plans to destroy the Sterling family by meeting Kirk and and bringing him down any way she can. The story is fast paced and kept my interest for the 3 books in this box set. There are 2 more books in this series that I have yet to read.

Ok

I really enjoyed this book but I was not expecting it to be long winded. The characters go through a lot but too much drama. Three books apparently not enough. I really think it could have ended but seems like it will go beyond what I am willing to go through.

This books 1-3, there are 2 more books which continues the story. I could not finish this series, it was ok but too many words in describing everything & going back & forth the same thing, over & over. Not the best for this author.

Bethany and Kirk

A fascinating mystery and the solving of it was great. The way Bethany and Kirk solved it was also great also. The only thing was that it ended before the whole thing was solved, I despise books like this.
