Another great installment that kept me on the edge of my seat while along for the adventure. Do yourself a favor and get all the books in this series (and frankly all of her vampire books); you won’t be disappointed. You'll find no shortage of love, action, and suspense in Kiss Across Chaos - and all of this is accompanied by masterful character (and storyline) development that Cooper-Posey is so good at. She is a master storyteller - you enjoy this tale as a stand-alone but it is certainly a richer experience if you are already familiar with the time travelers and vampires of this family.I can't wait for the next installment! Cooper-Posey does not disappoint her readers! Do not pass up this beautifully written book.

Kiss Across Chaos is the 10th installment of Tracy Copper-Posey’s most successful series that mixes vampires, time-traveling, and romance. As always the stories continue to seduce and entertain. The main character is this time Jesse, an ex-military writer that also house-sits for a living. She gets involved with the family in a prior volume and becomes an honorary daughter despite being human. Aran is the son of the main group in the family: Taylor, Veris, and Brody. He decided to embrace his human life and follow a career as a lobbyist in Washington, but his life is much more interesting than it appears. After a chance encounter in Washington, Jesse and Aran decide to acknowledge the attraction they felt before and romance ensues. But there are always complications. I enjoyed the scenes with the extended family but mostly I liked the time-traveling elements and I was only sorry that it didn’t take more space in the book because they were really the best part. Overall a good story, very well written as always, but not as compelling as other previous installments. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Thank the powers that be that the author, once again, listened to the many fans of the Kiss Across Time Series and gave us book 10. The story is so compelling that once you begin reading it you won't be able to stop till you've finished it. The story of Jesse and Aran is one mixed with constant time travel, both daring and dangerous. But above all, you'll read of their long unspoken desire for each other and when they finally meet again can no longer hold back their passion (which is told in sensual, steamy, magnificent fashion); but as we know passion and love do not always go together. Will fear of family acceptance and anger, if the family learns of their travel and desires, keep them together or once again keep them part. This is a magnificent story and I'm so happy the author brings back some of her wonderful characters from previous bóoks in the series. Do not pass up this beautifully written book.
How wonderful to open this book and find yourself among characters you know so well. Then immediately start smiling because you feel like you are among friends. This is Jesse and Arian’s story and what a good story it is. This is the tenth book in a series, but each story just gets better and better as every story has characters from each book so far in this series, and each book builds on the last. It is hard to have any favorite characters because there are so many, but my favorite in this series will always be Veris.
I have been waiting for this story since Jesse showed up and the author doesn't disappoint! As always, the storyline is very well-defined, taking multiple timelines (pun intended 😆) and having the characters meet. I loved that this time it wasn't necessarily an action filled story in which the characters have a clear opponent but rather a story that again tells a lot about the whole concept of time travel as the author has developed it, while having Aran and Jesse discover their lovestory.
This is an incredible 10th book in this series. The world building is descriptive and vivid. I really loved reading Aran and Jesse's story. This is an amazing time travel romance that is easy to follow.
Oh, wow, I loved this book, what a wonderful series! I was very excited to get into the story of these characters! Through the earlier books in the series we've known Aran since he was a baby. Seeing him through the eyes of a woman who is surprised by her attraction to him is refreshing and rather tantalising!
The characters enthralled me with a slow burn relationship, simmering emotions and fiery chemistry. There's a lot of romance to this 10th book in the series but it still adds insights and advancement to the overall story of this delightful group of big personalities: time-travellers, vampires, their human companions and children. The characters stay with me long after I've finished the novel, remembering their story and wondering what's in the future for them.
There's an interesting thread of self discovery and personal development after military service for one of the leads. This is shared as situations and crises challenge the new lifestyle that is needed to adapt into civilian life.
More complications and insights into the intricacies of time travel are revealed as we learn through the eyes of someone who is not a vampire or time traveller. There's plenty of action and tension as time travel creates tricky situations that challenge and provoke the characters.
Teasing glimpses of other characters, who have yet to have their story told, make me impatient for the next book...it's going to be SO GOOD!
I love Tracy Cooper-Posey's style of writing: a beautifully delivered story and engaging characters who keep you involved and dying to know what will happen next!! I highly recommend this series and especially advocate reading all the books in order. Rich and critical information is shared in the novella and 'moments' novels between the main books so don't miss out on those either.
I was very excited when I found out that Kiss Across Chaos was coming out: it's been a while since I checked in on the time-travelling clan. I was interested to see that the story only really revolved around Jesse and Aran, although it didn't appear that way to begin with, and wondered if it wouldn't be as action-packed as the others in the series. I should know better by now. Jesse is a writer, still house-sitting and occasionally attending family functions. Which is more than can be said about Aran who doesn't attend family stuff at all. They stumble across each other again during a house-sitting gig in Arlington and the story rockets off from there. While I loved getting to know Aran and Jesse more, the chapters set in Canal Street were some of the real highlight, as usual. I love the way Tracy Cooper-Posey manages to convey sights, sounds and even smells from a time the reader could never have experienced. However now I have to stop writing this review and immediately go and re-read the whole series all over again.
Love this Time Travel Series – Makes you Think!!!!
Jesse is a writer, and moves from house-sitting job to house-sitting job, never putting down roots. Aran has a career in Washington and is one of the time jumpers. He saved Jesse’s life earlier. When they end up in the same coffee shop, we realize there is more between these two.
An intricate journey of time-lines, time travel and being a part of the vampire / time jumper family. A betrayal and a new novel bring things to a head and suddenly time is off it’s tracks. I believe this would stand on its own – but you should really read every word of this series.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story; wonderful characters, though provoking time possibilities, and romance which will melt your heart.
**I am voluntarily leaving my honest review of this book**
Tracy Cooper-Posey did it again in her new book “Kiss Across Chaos,” the tenth book in the Kiss Across Time series. What is so amazing in her books is the amount of imagery. Every detail thought threw. Especially in “Kiss Across Chaos.” The way she writes her books makes you feel like your are there with the characters. From the very beginning I was drawn in between the family dynamics and what is going on in Jesse’s head. Then with all the information on time jumping with what Aran does with earning money. I was hooked wanting to know more about the relationship between Aran and Jesse. Jesse is an honorary family member with feelings towards Aran. What happens between these two I believe as a reader you should find out yourself. I highly recommend this book.
I was given an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest review.
I was so excited to finally get this book and it has more than lived up to my expectations. Really! This is book 10 in this series and the story is as new and fresh as the first book. And even though this storyline has supernatural characters in it, they are all relatable. I really feel as if I am following the lives of my friends and family. It is like catching up with everyone at the holidays (minus your weird uncle). I think that my favorite scenes take place on/near Canal Street. These scenes answer some outstanding questions from prior books about Aran and Jesse. In short, set aside some time for reading Kiss Across Chaos because you will not want to stop! Another ‘Home Run’ for Tracy Cooper-Posey.
Kiss Across Chaos, Kiss Across Time Series, Book 10, by Tracey Cooper-Posey, tells the long-awaited story of Aran (son of Veris, Brody, and Taylor) and Jesse Hall, former soldier and honorary family member. It was such a delight to travel through the timescape and witness, first hand, the dangers and subsequent tremors produced through time travel. One of Cooper-Posey’s best love stories. I will be sorry to see this series come to a close. DISCLAIMER: I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
