Was this book about Logan and London?
I wouldn't know because of the TEN THOUSAND
other characters, that tanked this rating
to a two. If I had wanted an anthology about
all her other characters, I wouldn't have
read this book. If I write this review
much longer, this will go down to a one....
I better stop now.

Logan has got some restraint in him, “it means that we are not going to eff, London.” I grab her hand and pull her behind me. “Let me show you my place.” If London doesn't like her man's answer she lets him know, " chuckle as I kiss the back of her head. “Four days, four years...ouch.” That damn elbow of hers is boney as fuck. “We’re gonna take a power nap,” I tell her." I think when it comes to London looks mean squat to Logan, "her hair looks different. I like it. Fuck, she could be bald and I would like it." I liked this book, I fell in love with Logan more he had so much patience and will power when it came to London.

Ups and Downs

Nice conclusion to the story. Kept me pulled in enough. I loved the characters. Typically to many I've read but I still enjoyed it.

First let me say, what I love most about MJ's books is the interweaving of previous series and characters into the fabric of a new read. We get the Links, and the STD's, and the Hines, and the grand kids-Lucas and Tessa being my all time fav!

His First Crush released me from that cliff hanger ending of Her First Kiss. London is shattered, Logan is consumed with anger from a misconception and their families and friends are at a loss as to how to help them.

Along the way there's a little mystery with a newer character. (although Logan and Lucas went a little over the top in the way they spoiled her-as generous as their characters are-I'm not so sure that kind of attention is realistic) But putting that aside, the way is paved for a brand new story about her and that mystery has yet to be solved.

The simmering cauldron of sexual tension between Logan and London kept me turning quite a few pages. Logan would not give London what she wanted until he was sure her first time would be perfect.

Lots of appearances from some of my familiar family of MJ's previous stories. This duet is worth investing your reading time in-it moves at a quick pace, it has a solid story line and it will leave you wanting to read!

I couldn’t wait too read My First Crush because the ending in My First Kiss, I had to know what was going to happen to Logan & London. This story will pull on your heartstrings and have you go on an emotional rollercoaster. Logan & London were meant too be and no matter what they went through nothing or nobody will keep them apart. Logan & London will keep you glued too your kindle and you will not want their story to end. Another 5 Star read that blew me away. Get ready for #CuddleSeason

I really want to like this book but there is just sooo much going on. This should have been either spread out to another book or stuff should have been cut out. Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Wish I had known there were more books related to these characters. It would have made it less confusing.

"You Look Pretty".....Logan Links

I couldn't wait for this book, after the way the first book ends, admittedly, my imagination went a little wild and I had all types of scenarios running through my mind. This story is EVERYTHING I had hoped for and more! I absolutely loved this conclusion but especially love the many teasers for stories to come. Logan Links *sigh*, he's so damn dreamy, good Lord that man melts hearts and panties, I LOVE him, all aspects of him because, yes he's hot but he also has a gigantic heart and Jesus L. Christ, he's yummy! London totally rocks, even though she's young, she is an old soul and has the biggest heart. I love that we saw some questionable behavior from her in this story, granted with her age, it's probably appropriate, but still she really had Logan tied up in knots and it was interesting to see how they handled these twists and turns. My feelings go beyond the story because all the characters are just as interesting and I feel the author used them in the very best way. Lucas and Brody....friction, Lucas and Tessa.....fireworks, Brody and Em.....completely in love and calming. I love how protective Brody is of his girls but I also got choked up when he begrudgingly gives into what is going on with Logan and London because that real and I felt it.

A lot of firsts...😉

A piece of advice... make sure to study the family tree at the beginning of the book. There are alot of supporting characters, which is great (adds lots of color), it can also become confusing. There is almost nothing more annoying than having to pause in the middle of an amazing story just to figure out how a certain character is relative or related to the main characters and the plot. Other than that, the story picks up right where the first 'First' left off. Love that! This is more Logan's story as told more so from his POV. Love that more! And it definitely makes Logan and London's story come full circle while also leaving it open for their journey to continue (as I'm sure it will). Love that most! This is definitely not a standalone and I'll definitely be reading the other connected series. LOVED all the firsts Logan and London were able to experience in this one together!!

A perfect ending to its companion, Her First Kiss. I finished book one and immediately dove into His First Crush.
Immediate gratification!
Now let me back up a bit. These are the first books I've read written by Fields, and while they are great, I do recommend researching all her books and starting from the beginning. This set was easy to follow but I'm sure if I had started from the beginning with previous series then they would have been even more enjoyable.
Obviously due to my 5 star rating, I thought this set was phenomenal. I loved the dynamic between London and Logan. The family dynamics were hilarious and the storyline flowed seamlessly.
Buy the books, read them and be sure to leave the author a kick ass review.

5 Stars!

And this series is back with book two, His First Crush, delivering another emotional, intense, can't-put-down, undeniable bromance that will leave you hanging on to every little word while leaving you breathless and with such a wicked book hangover. MJ Fields knows how to deliver those sharp, deep punches yet always in the most unforgettable ways.

Logan and London pick up from book one, delivering an emotional roller coaster that I didn't want to ever end in moments. The highs and lows, the ups and downs... in true MJ fashion, she did not disappoint.

I'm soooooo ready for the next in this series!

I highly recommend this book.

This book was Amazing! Every girl/woman needs a Logan Links! It a hard to write this review and not gush about him and give away spoilers from the book. He knew what London needed when she didn't know her self. Y'all this books is everything. Logan is my new favorite (don't tell Luke)

Sooo His First Crush starts a few hours after the tragic events at the end of Her First Kiss.

London is a mess after the tragic events that happened at Chaos only hours before. Logan is also a mess for that reason and the fact she took solice in someone elses lips. Logan was hurt by the choices she made but knew that the little girl who used to stick her tongue out him was always meant to be his. After finding out two of his team mates were also in Chaos when the shooting happened one lost, one fighting for his life, Trying help London cope with events that happened at Chaos something wonderful happens, life. Logans friend Keeka goes into labor with the Hines and Links family beside her. When Keeka left that hospital she left with way more family then she went in with. Secrets are revealed, lives are changed. There's also a crossover appearence of some other characters who are also all about family, when the Links and Hines men decides to put on a bebfit concert to help the families of those who lost their lives in the tragedy.
I hate doing reviews because I either fell I give to much away or not enough.

So again a story that rips through all your emotions but leaves your heart full by the end.
I never thought I would love Lucas Links more but yet again he made me fall deeper in love. Brody Hines was not only the over protecrive dad but he still sits on the side of his good friend Collin. I love the banter between Lucas and Brody.
I absolutely love that we are witnessing these characters grow up.
The way Ms. Fields touched on the tragedy especially when we have in real life just had a simular one happen was amazing. I could feel the sadness in London, the absolute fear of what she witnessed. I felt the sorrow Logan displayed for his teammates and the love and strength he gave to the girl who was not supposed to be his first love. I even cried for Ashley as she told her story to her little boy as he cried in her lap.
I believe wholeheartidly that people are redeemable if given the chance. I understand broken, I also understand that with the right people behind you broken can be repared, not fixed but repaired.
I can't wait to see what the next stories bring us.

Logan is a man every girl would want. Passionate, caring, loving, protective, and patient. London is a girl that knows what she wants. And what or should I say who she wants is Logan. This story picks up right where HFK ends. London has so many things going on and Logan realizes she is not yet ready for them to be together. But rather than leave he is with her every step of the way. He knows that he wants to be with her forever but she is not yet ready for that commitment. He is loving and patient with her. I love how he faces her family and doesn't back down with his feelings for her. He makes it known how he feels and also lets them know he will wait until she is ready. He does not push her. This is what separates him from the rest. They both have so much to deal with from family, to school, to the Chaos incident but get through it together. They lean on each other and depend on each other. That is the foundation of the love they share. It begins on solid ground and from here they can build their future.

The story has laughs, secrets, pain, naughty fun, and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well, and I was kept interested.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Her First Kiss (Firsts #1)

This is more of London and Logan’s story. One tragedy shows this couple they should be together but could one kiss change that. Does hurting the one you love because you feel they hurt you really make it better? He need to show her he will fight for her no matter what. He wants her and is willing to show her just how much he cares. Will this bring them back to a forever or show them it is truly over?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read. M. J. Fields grabs you and drags you into her stories where she deals with real life issues and pain. She teaches about forgiveness and love.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

AMAZING!!! I have been waiting a long time for this story! This series has a way of hitting deep. It can bring some many emotions out. Just like with everystory in the Love Series, it is an emotional rollercoster. You will laugh, cry, be sad, and angry. At times what to throw things. How can you not fall the Links men. They are just awesome. You just fall in love with them from the get go. London is such a strong women. Who knows what she wants. It has been great watching both of them grow up in these books but for them to finally have their own books is just amazing. It makes it so had to put the story down. You have to know what happens next. Like all her books, MJ has a way of sucking you in to the story. She leaves you wanting more every single time. So can't wait for the next one. What an amazing read.

This book will blow your mind!

MJ never disappoints when reading her books, she can make you laugh and cry sometimes happy tears sometime sad tears because you are so heartbroken it's they only thing you can do. I love the banter between Lucas and Brody but the person you love more is London and Logan. London makes your heart break for her and you have to switch sides of your pillow from the tears falling from your eyes. I was not expecting the turn of events from Ashley's side and you don't want to hate her from the love series. I have always said if you want to read this series or the other's it's recommended starting with blue love because the books intertwine and you'll know the characters for this book. You'll get what it being said especially about Collin. If you want to read this book please do so but it's always best to start with blue love first.

First off let me start off by saying that I totally agree with Brody. I was and still am a big fan of Tessa and Collin. I didn't understand how the author kept putting them in situations to meet each other, fall in love and then to turn around and kill him off. I am still NOT over it and never wanted her with Luke who was undeserving of her.
That being said Logan loves London and he is willing to do what ever he needs to, to get her through the tragedy they all went through. I loved his character and at times I really wished he had just walked away from London.
London at times just got on my damn nerve. Her insecurities and inability to trust put their building relationship in trouble. How she kept using Fletcher to piss Logan off was a turn off.
She needed to grow up focus instead of trying to force things to happen.

His First Crush KU, 354 pgs **** 3/28/23 Logan & London

4 stars. It took 2 books for any sex to happen? That was a little much but I did enjoy the rest of their story. I wish it had been more, after their HEA, though. There were many moments of “talking to themselves in their heads” which I really don’t like and skimmed some of those pages. I loved getting to know more of their friends and family and loved having some of the old “Brody Hines” group around most of the book. The back and forth of sex, no sex became a little frustrating and not really realistic since it was Logan holding everything back. The ending was good but again, I wish there had been more because it ended with their secret never being told, again irritating. I am guessing the secret will come out eventually in another book.

His First Crush is the continuing story of Logan Links & London Fields and picks up after Her First Kiss and in true MJ style sends you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions!

These two go through so many ups and downs - how they deal with their own emotions , issues with their families and friends, some LOL moments and some tearjerker moments, but at the crux of it all, is their sense of family.

Secrets were discovered, can they get passed these and their own emotional issues?

They really are meant to be together but will they get their HEA?

MJ Fields writing sucks you in, so you not only feel part of the story but are so invested in the outcome, I LOVE her writing, keep them coming MJ

Logan Links...where do you begin with this book! I love Logan and London. These two have been through so much and fate keeps them together for a reason. This story is relevant to today’s times. This story shows love can overcome so much. Logan tried so hard not to fall for London, but these two are meant for each other.

MJ does an amazing job telling this story. As I said before, this story isn’t one that’s easy to read. It touches on difficult topics and can be hard to read. MJ does a great job not only handling these topics but making you see the love through the hard parts. If you haven’t read Her First Kiss, you need too. In fact, to understand Logan’s story, you have to read the first book. I love this story and these characters.

I feel like part of these families I’ve been with them since I first read about Lucas Links I love them all.

London and Logan have a rough road ahead of them after the events of book one. Logan is the perfect guy, his restraint and the depth of his love for London just made me melt. Brody may not be her biological dad but she’s a chop off the old block, she’s just as feisty & stubborn as him.

I loved the emotional depth in the story yes there is sexual tension but it’s more about the connection between then that stuck out to me. I was not in anyway prepared for the curveballs the author threw into the story.

Only MJ could make me feel empathy and understanding for a character I have hated through several books. I have an idea who the next book is about but with MJ you never know.

His First Crush

I love how we get more from Logan’s experiences and his side. I enjoy how we get to see all of MJ Fields characters mingle though each story. I love all the updates. The continuation of London and Logan’s story was good. I would have love to see more of their dynamic and chemistry. It was kinda superficial. While their story is good, the book really set more pretense for future stories. There’s a lot of Keeka in this book. I normally feel the passion and connection with MJ Fields characters. This book was just superficial love. I get it... just didn’t feel it. It was too confusing with all the Keeka. It’s a good book. If you’ve read the others, you’ll enjoy this too! I just had a lot more hope for this book!

His First Crush is the continuing story of Logan Links & London Fields. Growing up together you think they would know everything about each other but when one event can change your whole life you see just the beginning of your story.
The two of them go through many ups and downs, they deal with their families, their friends, their own emotions but when they overcome that all you can’t help feel that they always were made to be together.
We will see the many interactions between their families there will be laugh out loud moments some somber moments but it always comes down to family.
MJ Fields can keep on writing about these amazing characters because they have become our family too.

4.5 STARS!!!

How a roller coaster of emotions as London and Logan heal emotionally and mentally from the horrific tragedy at Choas. Logan is trying to give London what needs during this time, but is it enough. London struggles with the tragedy and the beauty of this story is that it really takes village to heal.

As they both see in the moments they are apart it is when they are together that the chaos is at its calmest. Logan and London embark on this beautiful journey of growing up, growing the love they have for each other and growing more family members.

SWOON!!

I loved both books. Logan in the first was kinda an ass but you learn more why in book two. I loved London and her quick wit and smart mouth. The only thing I didn't like was some of the conversations between the characters. It left you saying 'What are they talking about?' But as you keep reading you come to realize maybe it doesn't matter.
I would love to see a book three with these two. You know after family learns you know what, after you know who finds out, you know whome did you know what!!!😉
Oh that would be good!! Read both books you will not be disappointed!

Another great love story by MJ Fields. Started reading Sunday morning and finished it Sunday evening. I always loved Tessa and Lucas's love story, but now I think I love London and Logan's story a little more. All of these characters love hard and I don't think too many people in this world do anymore. I love when I read a book and I can laugh and cry along with the characters. I also love how Isabella Steel was brought in and now she's all grown up, waiting to see if she gets her own story at some point? Love this family and can't wait to read Keeka's story next.

I don’t think it is possible to not read a Legacy Series book and not become emotionally involved and attached to the characters in the book. London and Logan’s story started many books ago. I personally have been waiting on pins and needles to get my hands on this book. What an amazing read! Worth the wait. If you have followed this series from the start, don't miss this book. If you haven't read this series start from the beginning with Blue Love and you will not regret it.

MJ Love You Anyways!!
