Three bed, two bath, room for Santa...

Helping people find their dream house has always come natural to Caroline. She's able to set the stage perfectly so her clients can imagine spending the holidays in their new home, even though she doesn't decorate her own. When her boss assigns her to oversee the first annual Christmas Tour of Homes, Caroline thinks she may be in over her head.

Luke has always made sure his daughter, Ella, had all that she needed for Christmas, including a home bursting at the seams with tinsel and holly. Even if it meant working extra shifts patrolling the town. So when a house of their own is at the top of Ella's Christmas list, he can't help but set out to find one.

As Christmas fate brings Caroline and Luke together, they just might be exactly what the other needs to make it through the holidays. Caroline starts to find the inspiration and joy in decorating again and Luke learns from Caroline how to look for the spirit of Christmas in all that's around him.

Until Luke unknowingly stumbles across Caroline's past. A past that keeps Caroline from looking to a future with Luke.

Can Caroline and Luke find their way to happily ever after? Or is the only thing keeping them from finding it, each other?

We are all looking for an uplifting, feel good story these days and Selling Christmas is just that. While there are no huge surprises with the characters, you are cheering them on throughout the book. The author does a nice job building the characters to a point where you can truly visualize each of them and makes them so likable, that you want to be their friend. As a widower, Luke has a relationship with his daughter Ella that is so special. He wants his daughter to be happy and have everything in life she needs, but his special role as a father is a true gift to her. Caroline comes into Luke’s life, first just in passing and then again by coincidence. You get the sense that they are meant for each other, immediately. Throughout the book, Caroline is running away from memories, following the death of her parents. Luke has a way of sharing how those memories can stay precious, but change slightly. The Christmas Season is truly the magnet that exerts the great attraction for both Caroline and Luke. Grab Selling Christmas, pour yourself a cup of hot cocoa, curl up with a blanket in front of a fire and enjoy this feel good love story.

Cozy up by the fire and prepare to be captivated. A great escape during these crazy times, and one of the sweetest romances I’ve ever read. Each scene is set to perfection! I felt like I was really touring the homes alongside the characters (this coming from a reader with a love of interior design) and could relate with and visualize the characters feelings and perfectly described gestures throughout. Angelina has a knack for the details that you can relate to, and her very subtle humor in this regard frequently brought a smile to my face. Her comprehensive character development makes you truly invested in each of them, as well as root for them throughout the story and as they navigate their challenges. I love them both! I honestly didn’t want this book to end and am already casting a Hallmark Christmas movie in my head. A must read!

If you're in the mood for a sweet seasonal romance, you can't choose a better one than Selling Christmas by Angelina Goode.

As a real estate agent, Caroline is used to helping people find their dream home. When she is tasked by her broker with overseeing the first annual Christmas Tour of Homes, however, she might be in over her head. She doesn't even decorate her own house, so how can she bring the Christmas spirit to others?

Luke is a local police office and all around nice guy. His daughter Ella means the world to him. So, when Ella asks for a house of their own with a fireplace for Santa to fit through, he knows he has to try his hardest.

As Christmas fate brings Caroline and Luke together, they might just be exactly what the other needs... unless they let their pasts stand in the way.

Everyone knows I am a sucker for a great Christmas romance in book or television form. That's part of why I requested to review Selling Christmas. Another reason is that lovely cover. It is even prettier up close. Of course, I tend to like books with real estate agents as main characters these days since I am one.

Goode created the perfect seasonal romance: two people who meet by chance, obstacles that could prevent them from getting together, a small town setting, a great cast of supporting characters, and a happy ending. What more can you ask for in this genre? While you know how it is going to end, you still read every page because you don't want to miss a thing.

You even fall in love with some of the secondary characters in this one. Sarah, Caroline's assistant who insisted upon decorating her office and pretty much acted like a kid on Christmas morning; Luke's partner Andrea who nudged him in the right direction; the shelter director, Lauren, who unknowingly played a role in helping both Caroline and Luke; and the antics of Caroline's co-workers added a fun element to the story.

Christmas, romance, holiday fun, and a small town feel make Selling Christmas a story you will want to read over again. I hope Goode releases another seasonal story next year.

Selling Christmas is a sweet, feel-good holiday romance that will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
The story is told from two POVs: Caroline's and Luke's. Caroline is a real estate agent who seems to have a knack for finding the perfect house for every one of her clients. Luke is a single father (he lost his wife) to a six year old girl who is as sweet as can be. It's his daughter's wish for a house for Christmas that brings him into the path of Caroline. Their first meeting is like something out of Jingle All the Way (they both go for the very last of some "hot new toy" that every kid wants), and when Luke discovers Caroline is his agent, he's both surprised and thrilled.
Can Caroline make a little girl's Christmas wish come true, and will Luke and Caroline find some holiday joy together?
I really enjoyed this story. It was so festive and fun, and while I'm not normally a big Christmas person, this book made me feel extra cozy and jolly. There was something about it that really put me in the holiday spirit this year, and I'm so glad I took a chance and decided to read this one.
If you're looking for a wonderful holiday romance that will brighten your day, definitely give Selling Christmas a whirl.

My Review: I received a complimentary copy of this book from Pump Up Your Book. The following is my honest review and opinion. If you know me, you know I am a sucker for holiday books, especially those with romance. When I saw this book also revolves around real estate, something I deal with every day, I knew I had to read this one. I really enjoyed how this book seemed to have two story lines running at the same time, the challenge of staging homes and capturing the spirit of Christmas and the struggle with new relationships and overcoming the grief of past ones. I really enjoyed the characters and the way they grew and developed throughout the story. This book captures the feel of the season through the setting, the characters and the events throughout. Definitely an emotional journey as well, I even started tearing up a few times (while in the office), you can't help but root for Caroline, Luke and Ella to find their paths through grief and new beginnings. This is definitely a great book to read during the holiday season, it just warms your heart.

Selling Christmas is a delightfully engaging yet easy read to prepare yourself for Christmas. Caroline is a real estate agent how who once loved Christmas. She has lost the joy in decorating but celebrates the "Christmas Spirit" in her acts of kindness to others. Through what began as a challenging assignment at work and a new client, Luke, she learns to celebrate and find joy in decorating for Christmas again. She is falling for Luke but is held back as her as old memories flood back. The story pivots from perspectives of both Luke and Caroline as Christmas quickly approaches. The story unfolds in snow filled Oregon and is filled with Christmas decorations, food and ideas. Romance and kindness flourish in this charming Christmas novel.

Selling Christmas is a festive, enjoyable read that I had trouble putting down. This is the perfect novel to forget about 2020 and get into the holiday spirit. I loved the attention to detail that made me feel like I was watching a Hallmark Christmas film. The journey of the two main characters Luke and Caroline really keeps the readers engaged and wondering if their blossoming love will triumph over Caroline’s difficult past. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a heartfelt story with a beautiful setting and the spirit of Christmas flowing throughout. I enjoyed it so much that I ordered it for my mother to kick off the holiday season!

First let it be known that Love Actually is my favorite all time movie. The music, Christmas decor and love stories are every bit of 'feel good' I can humanly think of. This book reminded me a lot of that. Between the snow, the small town Christmas decor, and the blossoming romance between Luke and Caroline, it transported me into the Holiday season, and it's only October! I have Halloween pumpkins and skeletons around, but as I flip through this novel I can't help but taste hot chocolate and hear Christmas carols. This was a wholesome, Hallmark perfect, tug at your heart strings-wear fuzzy socks- and sit by a fire place feelings kind of book. A sliver of light for this year of 2020.

This book was exactly what I needed. With so much chaos in the world at the moment, I crave something to look forward to. After cozying up with Selling Christmas I cannot wait for Christmas and all of the happy memories the holiday season evokes. We all need a little Christmas spirit right now and Selling Christmas has just the right amount of magic.

Selling Christmas hits all the Clean Christmas Hallmark feels. I loved watching Caroline struggle with her past and push through it. I loved the merger of the “Tour of Homes” with the “open house”. I loved reading about Luke and his daughter. The character growth was spot on. If you are looking for a book to put you in a good mood and give you all the Christmas feels, Selling Christmas is the book for you!

I thoroughly enjoyed this clean, heart-warming romance. It’s like a Hallmark movie meets HGTV in book form. This book is a wonderful escape to Brambling Falls where grown-ups drink hot cocoa instead of coffee, everyone is nice to each other and love solves all problems. I highly recommend you read it!

This book follows Caroline who loves to bring Christmas to other people but won't decorate for herself considering it too commercialized. She's put in charge of turning four homes into Christmas wonderlands and finds herself in a predicament as she herself no cut out for this project will she get it done or fall flat on her face.

Luke has done everything for his daughter to make sure she has everything she could want for Christmas with holly and cheer even if it requires him to work overtime to get it. When Luke's daughter puts a house on her Christmas list he sets out to make her dreams come true which leads directly to Caroline. Will they be able to make this Christmas magical for his daughter and maybe each other as well?

This was a great Christmas story. This was such an uplifting magical story which you could find yourself reading every Christmas it pulls you in and you really feel apart of their world seeing how it will all play out! Can't wait to see what is next for this author!

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

Sit back, grab a hot cup of cocoa and curl up on the couch, you are in for a treat with this novel! Ms. Goode works wonders with lovely Christmas-time visuals, and an overall cozy vibe, from cover to cover. If you need motivation to get into the Christmas spirit (and who doesn’t in 2020?); this is the book that will make you want to put up your tree, and decorate every inch of your home with Christmas cheer.

Luke has made sure that his daughter Ella has had everything she’s ever needed. Even on Christmas, he made sure that the house was thoroughly decorated, ready for Santa and Christmas morning! This year Ella is hoping for a house for Christmas, and Luke does everything he can to make her Christmas wish come true!

Caroline is a well known real estate agent who helps her clients to visualize themselves in the homes during tours. As the Christmas season brings Caroline and Luke together, they inspire each other to get into the spirit of Christmas. Will it end in love, and a cozy Christmas for Caroline, Luke and Ella? Read Selling Christmas to find out!!

I didn’t have time to read any Christmas stories before Christmas, so this was my first read in the new year. It’s the sweet story of Caroline, who needs to recover her Christmas spirit, and Luke and his daughter, Ella, who need a house after living in an apartment for several years. Caroline is a realtor who tries to find the perfect home for them, but there’s a catch. Will everything work out, and the three of them enjoy Christmas . . . together? ❤️

If you are looking for a sweet fun Christmas romance, this is it! All the warm fuzzy Christmas moments. Great writing and character development and a very sweet story. All the feels for the HEA you know is coming at the end. My only criticism is bird related so not relevant to the majority of readers.
