This unique book includes 18 cases written by undergraduates or recent graduates representing a cultural and topically diverse perspective. These eighteen cases represent a fascinating cross-section of contemporary adolescence. The cases cover a variety of issues, including family and peer relationships, eating disorders, self image, and illness. For psychologists and educators interested in adolescent development and psychology.
Andrew Garrod is Professor Emeritus of Education at Dartmouth College. He is coeditor of I Am Where I Come Frome: Native American College Students and Graduates Tell Their Life Stories; Growing Up Muslim: Muslim College Students in America Tell Their Life Stories, First Person, First Peoples: Native American College Graduates Tell Their Life Stories, Balancing Two Worlds: Asian American College Students Tell Their Life Stories, Mi Voz, Mi Vida: Latino College Students Tell Their Life Stories, and Mixed: Multiracial College Students Tell Their Life Stories.
A really good book about Dartmouth students. I could definitely identify with several experiences, and now I want to read more of Garrod's case studies.
