The Fling is so much more than I expected. I like this book more than I expected. Miss Robinson is a talented writer. Not only she can write angsty romance, she also have a knack on rom com
The Fling is more vanila romance and targeted for NA romance. It is a fun read thanks to Hayden. I got more invested in Hayden and Ashton relationship at the end. They both have trust issue but loving Sage with the same fierceness.
I wish Sage is more up front about being single mother to Asher from the very beginning. Her lying by omision is not cool.
Overall a very enjoyable read.

OMG! This was such a great rom-com. I started the series with this one and didn't feel like I missed out anything character wise, but I need to read the first book in the series since I adored this one!
This book is filled with sexy swooning, hilarious banter and sassiness.
If you're in the mood for sweet and spicy - this is your treat!!
One party brings Ashton and Sage together.
One kiss and a lasting impact was made.
One punch ends their night earlier than either of them planned.
Shortly after one's whole world is completely rocked and the other vows to uphold the playboy pact until the end of time.
Fast forward 8 years - Their total by chance reunion was so fun! It was perfect for them. It was fate that they would get to have a do-over.
Despite the pact, Ashton Hayes is what dreams are made of. Like, seriously. He is on my short list for favorite book boyfriends. Gosh, I just adored him. He was sweet, oh so funny and his endearments for Sage were perfect. His comebacks were flirty and fun. I giggled so much.
He is the perfect guy for this job.
Sage was one feisty Mama. She had to be after her life literally was turned upside after one night. One night that she could call the worst of her life, but she won't because it always brought her the best things in her life. She deserved so much. To be loved unconditionally. To be worshiped and cared for.
I didn't want this book to end!! I'd gladly keep reading and reading - I was fully engrossed in these two. I will for sure be reading book 3! I'm sure they'll make an appearance at some point.

The guys in this series are such playboys that I'm never quite sure how I'm going to feel about each new one, given we've mostly seen them as arrogant hit em and quit em type guys. Ashton and Sage have a great story and a fabulous and intense connection. Their story interested me right from the first page, and I devoured it quite quickly.
Ashton surprised me so much in this, and he was actually a really likeable and loveable character. Sage was great too, and the kids were awesome, although I was not a fan of Haiden at times, even though I could understand why the kid was acting the way he was.
I just really enjoyed this one and couldn't put it down, although I wouldn’t classify it as a rom com like it’s advertised.
Some good times with the other playboys in this too, and I look forward to reading their stories. I'm really hoping that Aspyn is going to be the heroine of one in particular. There's a great lead in for the next book, which will be Cain's, and I definitely look forward to continuing this series.

I loved this standalone! Romantic comedies is a new genre that M.Robinson has picked up and this one was that. Sage and Ashton were amazing and I liked their interactions.
The ending was good and I liked the storyline. The story was missing this author’s usual angst which is why it was more of a one time enjoyable read for me. The jokes were good and it made me laugh a lot! Sage was an amazing heroine and I loved her and the babies so much. This single mom romance will definitely steal your heart!
I would definitely recommend this book to all the hardcore lovers of romanctic comedy genre. It was a fun read and I think you guys will love this one a lot!

This is a story about Playboys. Have you ever met a playboy? Dated? Slept with? Well I have. It’s usually unforgettable and heartbreaking.
The story starts with a pact and we have a front row seat to it unraveling.
Ashton has no idea that he’s about to meet the love of his life. And Sage will have her hands full when she falls for him.
Things I liked:
• The kissing
• Long talks
• Chemistry
Things I didn’t:
• not being honest
• No believing each other
• Haiden
• Guy talk
• Bar fight
The book has a good romance with annoying guy relationships trailing behind. The son in my opinion wasn’t old enough to square off with any adult.
And parts of this was just too crude for me. I really didn’t see romance. I saw a lot of sex. Having said all that, this was a light, hot rom-com with a Spring Break feel.

M. Robinson had me giggling at the antics of these boys once again (The Kiss was book one and is a must-read). Ashton is not the man I thought he would be, but better. He's probably one of the sweetest hero's she's ever written and swooniest too!!
I love a strong heroine and that's exactly what we got with Sage. She's a badass single mom of hysterical twins. They surely are giving her a run for the money but just wait until they meet Ashton - omg - it's a sight to see.

5 star review The Fling (Playboy Pact #2) by M Robinson
I know this is hard to believe but this is the first book that I have read by M. Robinson and I am not sure why that is. This was a fun, entertaining read that had me hooked from the first to the last chapter. The Fling is Sage and Ashton’s story and it was well written with characters that were easy to relate to and whose story you cannot help but become invested in.
Single mum Sage has returned home with her twins Haven and Haiden, catching up with her first love Ashton, he realizes he has never really gotten over her. As their relationship moves from friends to lovers, I was cheering for them to get the happily ever after that they all deserved. I fell hard and fast for all these well rounded characters, their was such love of family and romance not to mention witty banter that you cannot help but be drawn in.
There were times where I laughed, times I was brought to tears and times when little Haven and Haiden nearly stole the book away from Sage and Ashton. This was a great example of the RomCom genre and as soon as time permits I will be looking at other books from M. Robinson.

Oh how I love a romance with a splash of comedy and now let's add in a set of sassy twins! That is what you will get when you pick up the Fling. Sage and Ashton are sweet, sexy, funny and yes a bit complicated. A chance meeting at 17 sets the stage for this couple to navigate their way and find their future. When their paths cross once again their is no denying that the spark is still there but so much has changed.
Ashton is a player, no strings, don't commit and most of all don't fall in love. Everything is going well until her. Sage is just looking to cut loose for a night she has too many responsibilities at home. She is a single mom to a wonderful boy and girl and yes she is doing it on her own with the help of her support system. She truly never thought that she would see him again but fate had other ideas for these two.
Get ready for a fling filled with adventure, steam, and a lot of laughs and love from the twins! What happens when the fling becomes so much more!?

I love M. Robinson and her writing style. She has always been a go-to for me when she releases a book.
This series is definitely different from anything I have read by her in the past. A lot of her books have more angsty, drama and suspense in them. This book (and series) is definitely more of a lighter side to her writing.
The Fling is very light-hearted and easy read. There is some humor in it with some sexy times meshed in. There isn't a lot of depth to the characters or plot. It is told from both POV's and you get to see the other characters interact throughout the book. There were portions of this book that I did not care and I think that hurt my connection to the book overall. But it didn't make me hate it either.
I think this is a series that will be right down the middle for me as the first book I rated the same as this one. It's not a bad thing either. Not every book or series will be for everyone.
If you're in the mood for a sweet and light read, this is it.

Its such a fun and short read. I love the kids and ashton. This has all the elements-funny,romantic,friendship,banter. I would love to read more of playboy pact series. I really like aspyn character.Can’t wait to see what you have more in store for her.

Ok, can I be completely honest here without getting rocks thrown at me? I read this book because this seems to be a popular author, I had never read her before, and I was curious. The storyline was right up my alley. However, I could not get into it much. The characters were so young and incredibly immature, the kids were total brats (total turnoff!), and I couldn’t stand it, and the word “twins” was repeated to excess. I didn’t feel any connection to any of the characters, and I didn’t think they were connected to each other either. The h and H are in a serious relationship for weeks and weeks, and she is not willing to share that she is a mother of twins. Not a word. It’s all my twins this and my twins that, just never to him. He finally finds out, not from her, and then she’s mad at him, excuse being that she didn’t know he liked kids. At the end where it all went to hell in a hand basket, the complete exaggeration of her reaction to things just turned me off even more.
Anyways, in the end, I guess this was just not my kind of read. What were supposed to be all these humorous situations, they just fell flat for me, and I wanted to roll my eyes. Again, given everybody’s age, I guess it would be expected. But I just couldn’t get into it at all.

I am loving the Playboy Pact series so hard right now!! M. Robinson has, once again, stolen my heart. I am really liking her rom-angst-com style. There’s laughter along with a few tears. Sage and Ashton’s story stole my heart!

Sage wasn’t expecting much to come from her sixteenth birthday, there was only one thing she really wanted and that was to show her jerk of an exboyfriend what he was missing out on. So with the help of her best friend Aspyn, they made her look the part to make her ex eat his heart out, all they needed was a male specimen to make him jealous.
Ashton wasn’t expecting much from the party on the other side of town. He would walk in with his friends, grab a drink, raise some hell, and maybe grab a woman to end the night with. With a new stated pact, he wasn’t looking for anything but fun. When he sets his sights on Sage, he knows he’s irrevocably screwed. He wants the girl and with just one kiss, he knows she’s not going to be so easy to forget. When shit with his friend goes down, Ashton and his three friends have no choice but to get the hell out of dodge.
Now, seven years later, Ashton still can’t erase the sight of the beautiful sixteen year old from his mind. So when he runs into her at a speed dating charity event, he can’t believe his eyes. He let his dream girl get away all those years ago, he won’t make that same mistake twice…
but Sage is no longer the sixteen year old girl he once knew. She’s a mother to a pair of rambunctious twins (Haven and Haiden). And they all come as a package deal.
If you love single parent romances where the kids are just as rambunctious as they are sweet….don’t hesitate to pick up this novel. Sage’s twins brought humor to this story. All the manipulation tactics coming from Haiden had me clutching my stomach and laughing so freaking hard!! So if you’re looking for a humorous romance with a little bit of angst, pick up The Fling by M. Robinson. This one is as sweet as it is sexy. Never a dull moment.

This story is filled with humor - the kind that had me repeatedly saying, "oh sh*t" - as well as these sweet moments that had my heart melting.
Ashton was totally swoon-worthy throughout this story.
Sage - she's such a strong woman but she has the absolute worst luck!
I instantly fell in love with all the characters in this book/series. The way M. Robinson wrote this had me feeling as if I was there right with everyone and their many, many shenanigans. I can't wait to see what's in store next!

I adore everything about this book… no, this series! Seriously, Ashton is the all around perfect man. Sexy, funny, honest and dirty af! Sage is one lucky lady! I swear to you if I had a man like Ashton he would be suffering from gluttony with how much I’d be feeding him 🤪 This book made me laugh, swoon and even brought a tear or two. Seriously, these group of friends are goals! M. Robinson slays with this rom-com. The characters, humour, sexiness is all perfection! I can’t wait for the remaining books in the series.

The Fling just consolidated the fact that M. Robinson can write rom com like a boss. This story was straight out full of hilarious, swoony and sexy goodness. I found myself laughing out loud at some ridiculously inappropriate moments and then melting so fast with all the sweet emotions.
Ashton Hayes has made a playboy pact with his best friends to never fall in love. Ironically ,on the same day, he meets the girl who makes him think twice about the pact. Their meeting was short lived and didn't really go anywhere other than a kiss but Sage left an impact on him. Fast forward to eight years later. Fate makes their paths cross again and now he is sure that Sage is the one for me. That's right. Playboy flirt master Ashton is getting feels. But Sage has secrets. Two sweet(?) cute kids. Is she ready to trust Ashton with her life and heart?
This story was just way too much funny. Even now I can feel like laughing loudly whenever certain scenes come to my mind. Also dirty fun and sexy times galore! The story starts when Sage and Ashton were teenagers and so you can see Ashton in his immature commitment free state..But when we see him years later, I have to say that this Ashton is just amazing. This story was just way too much funny. Even now I can feel like laughing loudly whenever certain scenes come to my mind. Also dirty fun and sexy times galore! The story starts when Sage and Ashton were teenagers and so you can see Ashton in his immature commitment free state..But when we see him years later, I have to say that this Ashton is just amazing. The Fling is the second book in this new series by M. Robinson and I loved it! The emotions that this narrative brought out in me were exactly what I needed at this moment in time. I smiled, laughed and swooned throughout the majority of Ashton and Sage’s story. I found The Fling to be a light and fun read; however, there is a touch of drama that added to the story perfectly.
I ADORE ASHTON. Yes, I need to use shouty capitals because Ashton is incredible. What is there not to love about this guy? He has a fantastic personality. He’s as hot as Hades. He’s got moves, and I couldn’t help but fall in love with him. I’d be so jealous of his affections for Sage if they weren’t so perfect for each other - Okay, I may still be a little jealous!
What a fantastic young woman Sage is. She too has a fabulous personality and I admire her strength and determination. She has the love and support of an incredible family and friend. I have to admit that Haven and Haiden stole the show at times…. how could they not! I can’t wait for you to meet everyone.
I loved seeing Ashton and Sage together. They have this wonderful connection and their banter is a highlight of this story. I was invested in their individual journeys, and I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing their story unfold.
I award The Fling 5 stars. I am loving this series so far and it was great being back in the company of Leo, Ashton, Cain and Sawyer - seeing how well their Playboy Pact is working out for each of them. We've had Leo and Ashton's stories and I do believe it will be Cain’s next and I’m already looking forward to reading it.

I must first start off by saying I didn’t realize this was part of a series when I first looked at this story. I panicked…but then discovered it can be read as a standalone. The characters are intertwined…and once I read this and discovered the other characters, I will definitely read the other stories. This author is an amazing writer. Had me sucked in from the very first chapter. I am a more of a DARK, EROTIC reader, but this was amazingly well written and it hooked me in.
The story is about Ashton and Sage who first met on Sage’s 16th birthday. Things happen and they lose track of each other, but Sage has always thought of him. Eight years later, they are reunited as a fluke in a speed dating event and things proceed from there. If you don’t believe in “soul-mates” and “fate”… you will after reading this story.
I loved Ashton. He makes a pact with his buddies when they were younger to stay single for life, but Sage makes him rethink that pact. And he will melt your heart. I strongly recommend this story if you love a well flowing, amazingly written story that tears at your heart strings. And from time to time, I actually laughed out loud. A definite 5-star story for me!

I loved this!! M. Robinson promised a swoon-worthy hero in Ashton and she did not disappoint. This is book 2 in the Playboy Pact, and technically a stand-alone, but reading book 1 helps with character development.
Ashton and his friends make a pact to never fall in love, and at 16 it sound easy and rational. As Ashton gets older he realizes how wrong that was, and getting a second chance with the "one that got away", he is determined to keep her.
Sage has her own troubled past, and is busy as a single mom. She has to keep her heart and her kids' best interest above all else. Given the choice between her own happiness and her childrens, Sages history has always put her children first. Can Ashton be the one to change all that or will the animosity between her two worlds (mom and girlfriend) be the end of one?
I loved that in this book we saw all the Playboy players. We got a glimpse of Leo and Mila (book 1) and where they are and we got a view of the other boys and possibilities for their stories in the future.
I definitely recommend this story. Book 1 laid the work of the characters and this one just added to that development. These guys are crude, honest and horny more often than not, but they're also lovable, loyal and funny.

The Fling book 2 in the Playboy Pack by M. Robinson and I thought Leo & Mia had me swooning well now Ashton and Sage have captivated my attention as well. DM’ing M while reading totally wanted to ignore my children because I was 4 chapters in at dinner time 😂. I reluctantly put the kindle down and did my Mommy duty. But then I stayed awake way too late to read more. (No complaints)
Anyway Ashton and Sage together is utterly perfect. Ashton my new man crush (I’ve got lots). From the way Ashton and Sage meet to there undeniable chemistry from the start. Just soo swoon worthy. Sage is a single mom with twins Haiden and Haven. Who are absolutely adorable in every way. I adored the twins so much, a mother myself some parts of this I was like omg my kid would do something like that. 🤣🤣
Aspyn every girl needs a BFF like her . The banter between Ashton and Aspyn is hilarious.
I love how we get a glimpse of Cain, Sawyer, and Leo. I can’t wait for the other books in this series as always M. Robinson you have captivated me

I am completely and whole heartedly in love with this group of characters. I absolutely loved Ashton and Sage ! Their story pulled me in immediately and I couldn’t put it down , I can’t tell you the last time I read a book in one sitting but this one was way to good to stop. This author nailed the single mama character perfectly , I found myself relating to so many of the situations . Ashton is definitely very hot and has many talents . I’m marking my calendar as we speak for the next book in this series. Thank you Monica for the new book boyfriend . This book is definitely laugh out loud funny, I thought for once Monica wasn’t going to get my tears but I was so wrong.

You guys I could gush all day about how sweet, sexy and swoony Ashton is but in all honesty Haiden the Hellion stole the show! Omg I laughed so hard at this kid and y’all he melted my heart with how fierce he is about his momma💓 Future heartbreaker in the making. I mean the kid has swagger at 7 can’t wait to see him at 16😜 But Lord is he a little sh!t🤣 Poor Ashton😜

What a fun book from one of my favorite authors. Going from ripping my heart out and making me cry tears, to making me laugh at the crazy antics of these characters was a total change for the good! I really enjoyed this book, the characters are well developed, and crazy AF! Even the kids are a bit on the cray-cray side, with pranks and trying to get mom to dump the new guy. So much fun. I really like how all the friends are sticking together, helping their buddy out when he finally takes the plunge and breaks the pact.

This book was PERFECT and just what I needed.
It's a simple , fun , laugh out loud romance book without any unnecessary drama.
It is story of Sage a single mother of adorable twins and Ashton a playboy.
They both meet after years and decide to start a fling which leads to so many hilarious and awkward in a good way situations.
These two were fabulous together and made me laugh so much with their antics.
And The twins gosh!! Haven was so adorable and an angel whereas her twin brother Haiden was as Ashton likes to call him a cute little devil. I love love loved Haiden's prank and naughtiness. He definitely stole the show for me.

As soon as this book was announced I added it to the top of my TBR list! I couldn't wait to get into this story and I started it right away. I finished reading it in one sitting. I really enjoyed this story!
From their memorable first meeting to every blushworthy moment, and everything in between, Sage and Ashton's journey was so entertaining! I loved that their story was different and how I got to be in both of their minds. I adored Sage and I fell for Ashton! I really liked what the other characters brought to this story as well!
With The Fling, Ms.Robinson created a great read with heat, heart, and humor! I can't wait to go read the first book The Kiss and then book three The Catch when it releases! 💛
