There may have been a tinsy bit of dub-con, but I loved how their relationship grew. For a little short one I thought it was a good one.

I love the curvy woman series. Its a quick fast pace novella. And this one was an okay read.

I do wish Rose would have atleast stood up for herself with these men. I kinda also get annoyed now that the H's pick the girls clothes to wear she a grown ass woman she can pick her own clothes.  Beside that pet peeve of mine.

Roses lame husband did something stupid bet her In a game and he lost and he lost his wife. Rose was in a loveless marriage and now she belongs to a crime boss Jared who collected his woman. He was already sprung for her when he saw her picture and the kiss made him close that deal. He wanted her as his wife. Their relationship was mostly sex and few couple moments but mostly sex lol. They had few miscommunication but they worked through those.

Be it crime bosses, mafia men, or MC alphas this author knows how to bring the steam to her books. I love how this book started and the way the crime lord finally figured out exactly why he acted so out of character. And his wife! I was more than a little ticked that she was polite through it all. I’m not sure I could have been, but no matter the hardships, the author brought us right to a HEA that warmed my heart. Especially with an epilogue that satisfied my need to know the future and yet left me craving more of her fantastic books. I am looking forward to seeing what this author brings us next.

Insta love (kinda), quickie read, debt owed/sold theme. The story starts out with Rose’s husband handing her over to Jared, the crime lord. Rose’s husband ran up a gambling debt of a milli and she was the paid in full deal.

I actually like this story, but OMG, I needed Rose to fight a little. Jared is deadly and all, but she made is so easy after finding out what her husband did. As the story progress, it became sweet the way Jared took care of Rose and I so love their epilogue.

Overall, quickie read, typical Insta romance story.

***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s definitely about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the stories you read. I hope this review was helpful.

I liked the premise of this book but it fell completely flat for me. Rose got handed over to Jared on page one & then... nothing really happened. They hung out at their house & occasionally outside but no other drama of any sort. And don't ask me to explain how they supposedly fell in love with one another because they lacked chemistry. Big time. Call me #disappointed with this story.

Another quick and hot read from Sam Crescent in her Curvy Woman Wanted series. The heroines in this series are always feisty and don't take guff from anyone and Rose is just like this also. Jared wanted her the first time he saw her but didn't believe in love. Will Rose slowly change his mind?

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Crime lord’s wife is the twenty fourth book in the ‘’curvy women wanted’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Rose’s husband loses a poker game, he gives Rose up as the prize. Jared is a dangerous crime lord that wants Rose as soon as he wins her. Will Rose find love with Jared?
The chemistry between Jared and Rose is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Rose’s husband was scum. I mean who barters his wife to pay a debt. Jerk. Jared is not a kind man but something about Rose has him interested more than ever. I do like that Rose holds her own. She pushes Jared but he just sees it as cute. She really needed a MAN and not a little boy like her ex-husband. Jared is forward and pushes Rose allowing her to finally experience life. I understand Roses doubts in love. But has to have faith. Another great story.

Enjoyed Rose and Jared's story. He was a possessive alpha but not too over the top. It was endearing to see that he gave her anything she could want and was always there for Rose (even if she threw up on him lol). And I loved Rose's quiet strength and that she accepted all of Jared, even the criminal side.
