It's a quick read. It includes recommendations of yarns and 20 patterns, mostly are home knits project.
What I like about this book: - It provides some tips of yarn choice, including animal/plant/recycled fibres. It even lists few yarn brand for purchase - It also teaches you how to DIY yarns from old t-shirt etc.
What I don't like about this book: - The patterns are all beginner level and very basic (it could be a pro for total beginners though)
I can see this book being enjoyed by new knitters, especially if gifted with some needles and yarn, but everybody else can find more interesting patterns on Ravelry. At least five of these involve just knitting a rectangle!
I thoroughly enjoyed the author's writing style, knitting projects, and the yarns she used. I didn't appreciate everything being knit on circular needles however, but that's just me. Still an interesting book.
