From the Imagination Library! It’s a very calm book with very pretty pictures and words in both English and Spanish. Too bad I didn’t want to be sleepy and kept trying to climb out of mom’s lap!

Meticulously crafted and photographed fuzzy polar animals bed down for the night in this sweet and soothing book. A gem that adults will be charmed by as much as tots.

The illustrations of this book are top notch. Beautiful winter scenes with accompanying text that clearly communicates “it is the appointed time to rest.”

Also teaches about different species of animal and their sleep habits (ex. owls sleep during the day, so they are just waking up while others go to sleep).

Plus, who doesn’t love ending a book with an “I love you so [much]”?

Love the texture of the illustrations! Sweet drawings to go with the calming, peaceful text. The multilingual text was a bit overwhelming, but I’m glad to have another Spanish-friendly text in my library.

I thought the images (cute fabric textures) were adorable but the color palate did not grab my babies interest at all. I get why it’s all white and blue (polar creatures) but E was not engaged.

E gives it a 5/10

My daughter received this with her monthly Dolly Parton Imagination Library mail for her free book in January; the pictures are unique looking as the creatures look fuzzy as if fuzzy figurines were photographed, and the text is quite cute.

This is a cute book. We received it through Dolly’s Imagination Library, so it’s not one I specifically picked out. It’s quick and easy and perfect for bedtime.
