On a scale from one to ten, how obsessed with the Harry Potter films are you? About nine and three-quarters? Thought so. This book contains 400 question covering all eight of the Harry Potter movies. Questions range from Siriusly easy to Riddikulusly difficult. There's also a round of tiebreakers to settle any disputes. Will you score 10 points for Gryffindor or will you Slytherin to last place?
This was a fun book that I enjoyed from start to finish. Some questions were really easy, while some challenged me to really think about it. The book says these questions are from the movies (the books differ a lot from the movies), but there were a few questions that were from the books only. Thankfully I’ve read them all. I’m only giving 4 stars for the typos in it, such as MACUSA being MACUS, and Tom Felton being Tom Fellon, though there were more. It was a little irritating because my husband (not a HP fan) quizzed me and went by exactly what the book said, despite me knowing these were typos.
I took this book to read because I love Harry Potter, and perhaps it is because of that love that I rate this book 3 stars. I think this book is for readers who have just finished reading the series, not for Potterheads who, like me, have read the books multiple times. For such Potterheads, the quiz is quite easy to answer, and reading some questions, I’m like, “Really, this is a question too?”
