“God blessed me with a crooked dîck and that hook plays no games.” Well Amen 🙏🏽 Look!!!!! This was a two piece spicy with a side of red beans!!! I loved this vacation hook up!! Queenie is 36 and as her mama calls her, boring with a capital B. Needing some encouragement to live a little, Queenie’s mom and brother plan a week long all expenses paid trip to Montego Bay. Queenie accepts and takes this opportunity to let her hair all the way down and in the process she lays it low and spreads it wide for Cameron.
Cameron was on the island celebrating his cousins upcoming nuptials and baybey he had haters to his left and haters to his right. He and Queenie were able to keep them at bay and enjoy their time together until Queenie was “pushed” passed her limits. Queenie said 🗣️ I ain’t a killer but don’t “push” me 🤣🤣🤣 whew the drama!!!

Talk about a plot twist! I definitely did NOT see that ending coming. Suck Me Slow was a really good read. Queenie and Cameron had some sizzling chemistry right from the jump. Queenie is a little high strung and getting on her mama and brother’s nerve. They send her to Jamaica on an all paid vacation to get her out of their hair. She meets Cameron, Mr. BDE himself, and they commence to living their best lives in Montego Bay for the next five days. When I tell y’all Queenie and Cam had me clutchin’ all my invisible pearls! My Granny’s pearls too! Whew chile! It got hot in Montego Bay y’all hear me?!!! Everything is going well until Queenie has to throw hands and beat Sabrina’s petty immature azz. But, she’d been asking for that azz whoopin’ since day one so, she got what she deserved. Cameron definitely did not handle that situation well. I applaud him for trying fix it and confess his true feelings but, the damage was done. Fast forward two years later and Cameron is hit with a shocking surprise that had us all doing a double take. The way this book ended, there has to be a part two and I am so ready for it. Suck Me Slow was my first book by Mel Dau and it did not disappoint. I look forward to reading more from her.

Where do I sign up for a vacay bae?? Because Listen!!!! I'm tryna forget I have home training just like Cameron and Queenie😛. These fools had to be singing "anytime, any place" on repeat because they were getting it in all over that damn island. I mean the heat was all the way turned up between Queenie sucking his soul....slowly😏, and Cam drinking from her fountain like it was a slurpee on a hot summer day whew chilllle. On top of all of the heat they had a sweet connection that was ruined by petty a$s Sabrina that deserved those hands. I was so tired of her, like girl mind the business that pays you....broke girl. Needless to say I was sad about how they parted, but appreciated the effort on Cams behalf.
That ending...Now wait a damn minute. I wasn't ready at all. Queenie girl why?? You got some explaining to do.

3.5 stars This was a fun time. I didn’t realize this is the first book in a duet. There’s OW drama, which I’m not a fan of; and there’s a trope at the end of this book that I don’t like in my Romance, so we’ll see how it plays out in the second book.

So good!!!
This story had me captivated from beginning to end. Even though it was a fast pace storyline, the vibe and chemistry matched. Cameron and Queenie were a match made in paradise. I went into this story blind so I think there is a previous story and definitely a follow up (there better be with that cliffhanger). Very entertaining and well written.

Queen bugged her Mother and brother to a point that they said get away. Her vacation lead her to Cameron and a good time on vacation. I got mad at Queen and Cameron at certain points because they didn’t communicate.
Sabrina got on my last nerves and the ending I was not expecting at all.
Overall great book and my first Mel Dau book can’t wait to read more.

I love when female characters go on vacation and act out lol and end up falling inlove. Wasn’t expecting the twist at the end but I enjoyed this short story.

Quick read unexpected ending
Queen was on her stuff, independent, confident and loved her family. Cameron at times was kind of depicted as a cute lame. Cameron grew on me though. There vacation bae story is cute and will definitely leave you wishing the story ended differently. Queen did show that a slick mouth can get you snatched up.
This was a quick read that wasn’t bad. It’s a basic read though not in a bad way just not what I expected. I would be curious about what happens next but would still probably skip a part two. There’s not many grammatical errors and the flow is easy. The writing style is just very basic, maybe a better description is underdeveloped.

Unexpected Twist
Not really sure how I feel about this book. Queenie was pretty unlikable and Cameron was borderline turned into a whimp.
The couple had a great connection but the rest fell flat. Queenie flip flopped so much it was a little ridiculous.

Yass! Loved the instant chemistry and connection with Queenie and Cameron! They were so in tune with each other, for just meeting and could really have something amazing. I wanted to fight Queenie for being so damn stubborn! You find a good man, that wants to build with you, even long distance and you walk away from him! Ughh!! Just stupid for what girl? Mama Queen was a whole mess! Loved her as well. Now, that ending I was not ready for! Please let there be another story coming soon, as I must know how Cameron deals with this revelation! Good read! 👍👍👍

Queenie puts the capital "B" in boring. That's at least what her mama & brother think. Queenie has been glued closely to her home since losing her dad & her mom health. The problem is she does too fucking much ! Her mom & brother surprise her with a getaway where she is prescribed to have fun. She gets there & runs into a charismatic Cameron not once but twice.
Cameron is in Jamaica to be a supportive best man, but he can't help but notice the thick cutie that keeps dropping stuff around him. After a little harmless flirting, they are attached at the hip. Next thing you know, Cameron & Queenie are having all types of island fun, I'm talking about ALL. TYPES 😉😉
Sabrina 😑 was annoying af & Tracey was slick pissing me off. Like girl, check your fucking sister ! The way she was acting stuck on stupid, you would have thought Cam blessed her before they got to Jamaica. I was too mf happy when Queenie two pieced her ass. The cousin Wayne was also aggy af. The mama is low key the scene stealer and her commentary had me cracking up.

Montego Bay wasn’t just a backdrop, it was a release. Every page felt indulgent, intentional and intoxicating.
Cameron was the perfect storm unexpected, willing and dangerous in a way. He matched her sexual energy but they genuinely liked being around each other. Their connection was magnetic and deeply sensual even while rushed. Just when you think you’re settling into the bliss of its drama that pushed them apart. That ending hits. HARD. Jaw on the floor, mind racing, spirit screaming EXCUSE ME?!

Queenie surprised tf out of me lol!! She wasn't the prude she tried to act like. I'm not mad at her enjoying every moment of her much needed vacay with Cameron. Those sex scenes and their chemistry was definitely undeniable. He should have stood up for her once she went to blow with Sabrina. Sabrina is pathetic and either Wayne has a crush on Cameron and Sam or he been sleeping with Sabrina on the low too. I can't stand a man that acts like that. I'm disappointed in Queenie though. Whoa!!! I got questions
Hold up just a minute!!! This was absolutely well written. You did us dirty with that cliffhanger Mel. To say I was shocked at that ending is an understatement.. While on a vacation in Jamaica Queenie met Cameron where immediately hit it off and agreed to a island hookup. Cameron didn't know what hit him, although stubborn Queenie was a freak on the quiet willing to bust it wide open whenever the need hits. Whew chile Sabrina definately asked for that ass whopping she was handed. I need part 2 😫😫

Well I’ll Be...
Queenie cared and probably annoyed her mother and brother so much that they randomly sent her on a trip out of the US. she probably never thought she would run into Cameron and hit it off with him on the first day at the resort they stayed at. Queenie and Cameron act as if they were a couple but all things aren’t always sweet. Queenie definitely is stubborn and it stood out the most when her trip was over. But the ending has me like is there more to Queenie and Cameron’s story being that a possible baby is involved 🤨🤔
