Richard Fierce is a fantasy author with a passion for storytelling that dates back to his childhood. He first ventured into publishing in 2007 and hasn’t looked back since. His books are filled with dragons, adventure, and the kind of epic journeys that transport readers to new worlds.

In 2000, Richard was named Poet of the Year for his poem The Darkness, and his love for literature extends beyond just writing—he co-founded the Acworth Book Festival in Georgia to help bring authors and readers together. Though he originally worked in retail, he eventually transitioned to the tech industry, balancing his career with his writing.

Richard lives in Northwest Georgia with his family and a lively mix of pets, including four dogs (huskies!). He often jokes that his house feels like a zoo, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.

His love for fantasy started in high school when he was gifted a copy of Dragons of Spring Dawning by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman—a book that sparked a lifelong love for dragons and epic quests.

Whether he’s writing about dragon riders, lost civilizations, or ancient prophecies, Richard Fierce continues to craft stories that pull readers into unforgettable adventures.

Barbecued Goblins

As fantastic series continues, there is barbecued goblins on the menu, our heroes Eldwin, Maren and their dragons are on another mission, when a number of mining towns are about to be overrun by goblins, but one of thier nemesis, one of the twin sorcerer is behind it all, but when their captured by the sorcerer and his goblins, the magic is failing all due to the sorcerer, is time running out for our deadly duo, can they save the day or will they finally come to their dimise, an absolute fun read, as Eldwin and Maren's adventures become more dangerous and new foes to overcome, the plot and setting just gets better, the narration is just brilliant, highly recommend....😁🐲⚔🐉

Onwards towards another adventure, and this time, fighting goblins. I like the fights in this one and the effect of what is happening to magic. It pulls me into what will happen in the world. However, this book's pace feels far too fast. I wished it slowed down so we could breathe just a little. We didn't get that option. The characters were told about goblins, saw goblins, fought goblins, then defended against goblins. Also, a twin was controlling the goblins. Overall just fast-paced, and I wish we could at least understand a bit more about the goblins and get a little bit more about the magic side of things. Still good; just the pacing killed it for me.

Definitely more action packed.

This one had a lot more action than the others, I feel like. It went by too quickly though. I would have liked to see it stretch out a bit more with more details, but it was still good.

Maren and Eldwin are told that goblins are invading the towns and causing chaos. But they quite surprise to find out who is controlling them. Something or someone are interfering with the magic, and it is affecting the dragons also. Another great book in the series.
