I picked this book because I was in a mood for an office romance but that’s not that. I still haven’t read the blurb so it’s probably my fault, but I wasn’t disappointed.
Skye is a twenty years old college student who is an intern at a filming production starring Grayson James, a thirty eight years old Hollywood star. Grayson is friends with Skye’s father and that’s why she got the internship. Skye always had a crush on Grayson and now she gets to see him and be around him. Grayson likes her innocence (she’s not a virgin but not that experienced either), how she blushes when he gets close to her and that’s why she caught his interest.
I didn’t feel their chemistry, I thought that Skye was just excited that she met her hot Hollywood crush and got to spend time with him, and I can’t say that this book stirred any emotions or that I couldn’t put it down but it was an okay read if you don’t mind the age gap (which I didn’t, mostly because it was a short story so they didn’t discuss about it that much). I felt kind of uncomfortable when he kidnapped her (because that’s what it felt to me) but I liked the ending.
I’m not sure if I’ll finish the series because overall it was an okay read that I’ll probably forget next week. 3 ⭐
