If you’ve read about the Tampa chapter of the Royal Bastards MC from the beginning, you probably had this book preordered already, so you don’t need to read any further lol Those of you that have not, whyyyyyy?? All kidding aside, Dash gets his girl so YAY! (if you don’t get what that means, you know what to do *raises eyebrow*)
What a ride! I absolutely adore the choices the author made with this one. I’m a huge fan of hers but this book somehow had more spark and intrigue for me. It could be that I was invested before I even began, I don’t know, But the minute this landed on my kindle, I was off and reading and she did not disappoint! As always with her, she wrote am action packed story driven by emotions and feelings. Everything that happens is lit tenfold; if there is danger, it is explosive, if there is passion and spark, it is explosive, if there are twists, they are explosive … you guys getting a feel for what I’m saying? This is why I love her work so much and she did not hold back with Dash and Shadow one bit!
If you enjoy MC romance fiction stories, this is an author that you should keep up with. Her stories are full of grit and passion that is expertly unfolded and will keep you on your toes. The stories that she brings us are never easy and worth ever second of your reading time! #trust

Wow! I had to sit back before writing my review as this drama-filled story is packed with so many emotions I was left still trying to absorb everything—now that’s the sign of a great book.
Dash is without doubt one of my favourite MC characters, he might be young but he has such depth to him. Yes, he was a tad obsessed with Ivy but hey—as I said he is young! His growth in this story, though, is mind boggling and at times heartbreaking. When he cares for someone he goes all in and is prepared to do anything for them.
Shadow is another terrific character and much better suited to Dash. Her ‘take no nonsense’ attitude is a necessary part of living for her and Dash’s nickname for her is perfect! She is caring and supportive of others even though she is living basically pay to pay. Trusting others is a huge issue for her and very understandable too. Together they simply have fun! They certainly have chemistry but they know how to enjoy time spent with each other too.
I also love the support characters like Iris—one tough old bird with a huge heart, she’s the best. But it’s Cruz who really steals the show with his almost unflappable nature and enjoyment of other people. However, I won’t say anything else as this treasure you need to discover more about for yourself.
The mystery of Dash’s father’s death made Dash join the Royal Bastard MC, Tampa Charter but the brotherhood is something that he certainly needs in his life. The mystery of his father’s death as well as Shadow’s issues keep you guessing. With Shadow, the action heats up dramatically and there are some hairy moments. Of course, there are other life-threatening moments that have you on the edge of your seat and feeling a tad anxious—then a bit queasy knowing what was planned! There are some sickos in the world and although this might be fiction—unfortunately so much does happen in the real world it makes you ponder things.
Another terrific story by this very talented story teller and I Sam looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Unputdownable ... KE brilliance
If you have ever read any of my reviews for KE Osborn's novels, then you'll know that I have nothing but high praise for her work. SEEKING SHADOWS is no different. Tension, passion, desire, rage, love, KE once again had me feeling all the feels. She just pulls me into her story and doesn't let me go until that final word is read.. SEEKING SHADOWS is Dash's story ... the prospect who fell in love only to have the VP win the girl. Dash stole my heart and really deserves his own HEA.
"That woman - she's going to keep me on my toes. I feel it in my bones. And I freaking love that."
Dash has been spurned by Ivy, his heart broken and placed in the "friend zone". Finding himself at a local dive bar, he meets a woman who knocks his socks off the moment he first lays his eyes on her. She is a total badass and he wants nothing more than to get to know her better. Shadow was just magnificent, a true fighter, a real tough cookie, but also someone with the tenderest of hearts, especially when it came to protecting those who she loved the most. She was also wary, and had a secret that she didn't want to reveal. Dash and Shadow were a superb match, playing a game of push/pull, and skating around feelings that were slowly beginning to awaken.
"Dash is unlike anyone I've ever met. And that scares the hell out of me."
Protection has always been one of Dash's prominent traits, and when he does some digging into Shadow's past, accidently bringing trouble to her doorstep, his protection mode quickly goes on high alert. From the moment they meet the chemistry between hem runs rampant ... it was electric. I loved their banter, the secret moments they shared, they were definitely made for one another. I loved thsat Dash never gave in, he knew that Shadow was special. I loved how he was sensitive to her situation, even though he wasn't fully aware of everything about her. When Shadow finally opened her heart and let him in, it showed just how much she really cared for him.
"She's still my girl. Whether she know it or not. I have to be the one to show her. I have to be the one to prove it to her - make the proof undeniable."
Once again KE Osborn has held me captivated by her words, her characters and her storyline. A man rejected, yet still willing to open his heart, a woman who is running from her past, tough and feisty, yet she's also willing to open her heart. Drama, action, violence, vengeance, understanding, compassion, and romance, all combining to ensure SEEKING SHADOWS is an UNPUTDOWNABLE read. I can't wait for the next one.

This was my first book in this series, and I’m afraid I’ve be been missing out on a lot of heroine action…my bad…I’ve got some catching up to do!
Dash had a bad crush on Ivy, there was no one else for him. But Ivy had other idea’s, she’d put Dash in the friend’s zone, (abad place for Dash to be) and had fallen madly in love with the club’s VP Void. Dash is broken hearted, he’s given a time out by his prezz and end up at a drinking at a sleezy dive bar to drown his sorrows where he meets Badass, a woman who listens to his woes.
Is she the woman he needs or is she just a second choice? She’s very secretive, how will they work out? Is she right for the life he lives? And she believes her life is best kept secret, she has plenty that she needs to be kept safe!
A great love story, which starts with Dash learn the meaning of true love, showing how trustworthy he is and how much he deserves to be loved, and happy with a family of his own. There is at lot of emotion, danger and intense action in this book,
But there’s interesting twists and turns in the story that add some surprises,
and the characters I have to say were fantastic, their chemistry was spot on.
A great read. I enjoyed it immensely!

Dash was convinced that he was in love with Ivy but she is in love with and has chosen VP Void. Instead of accepting it, he ends up being given a time-out and finds himself in a dive bar drinking away his sorrows. Can this provide the answers he needs as he confides in Shadow? Has he found the answers he needs without realising it and after connecting the pieces he will then have to fight for what he wants with everything that he has. How will it all work out?
I loved this story which started with Dash being an immature dick and ended with him being the kind of man to deserve a happy future with a family. Cannot get enough of these Royal Bastards MC! It does not matter which chapter we delve into, it is a masterpiece! EVERY book within the series can lay claim and hold what other authors are scrambling to achieve! The 1st and 2nd run both achieve stratospheric enjoyment! Now this one by the collaboration has definitely given us a winner here people! I love being in the Tampa Chapter enjoying all the come alongs with a secretly passionate story and a whole universe full of suspense and drama that will make you shake in your shoes but trust me get comfortable because once you star you cannot stop! It is a proven fact Yeah, you can tell by the review that I am not the only one to feel this way! Anyway, to my review of Mr. Dash and his terrible timing with no regard to anyone else but himself! That summed him up for me and it was not a pretty sight! I almost thought gosh there will be NOTHING this guy WILL NOT DO to get his way! I had very strong feelings right form the start with him and I did not like it at all at first he made me feel like I was rolling around in oil, not pretty and just making you feel disgusting! Yeah he evoked that terrible emotion within me. Does he redeem himself? Shadow is the one that I could relate to the most. She made me feel like its been a rough rode she has traveled but she knows what she wants and works for it. I found her endearing and relatable. I loved the play between them and the fact that Dash starts to realize that what he wanted was not right in front him, but he found it looking in the shadows! Absolutely Riveting and one NOT TO BE MISSED! So come to Tampa and enjoy the sunshine! Remember to bring the sunscreen! LOL!

An MC Book You Don’t Want to Miss
What happens when a prospect wants the same woman that your VP wants as his and that very same woman only wants you as a friend…you make some stupid mistakes that may cost you everything. After being put on the shelf for a while Dash finds something he has been looking for in a “bar wench” that he nicknames Bad*ss. Shadow has so many secrets and has been on the run with her little boy for four years now trying to keep Cruz safe from his crazy father. Dash/Justice is such a good man with trying to protect those he loves and has a heart of gold that may have finally found what it’s been searching for in Shadow.
Oh boy, if you are looking for a book that keeps you up reading until the wee hours of the morning this book is for you. It has so many twists and turns and surprises galore with just the right amount of steam to have you fanning yourself. It shows how a biker can have a good heart and still be the man that can take a life if need be. The characters were amazing and I just loved little Cruz and his conversations. Shadow was also shown as an amazing mom who would do anything to protect her little boy. This is a book I can definitely get behind!! Looking forward to more books from the Royal B*stards MC series.

Dash is such a sweetheart!
Don’t get me wrong, he’s still a badass biker too. It’s just when he loves, it’s with all his heart. Which ends up getting him in a bit of pickle with the MC.
All I wanted was for him to find his HEA. To have someone who loved him as much as he loved them, bless him. Does he find that special lady?

Dash and Shadow’s unique love story is an emotional roller coaster. They both have secrets and are protective of those they love. Watching them push and pull while they struggle to navigate threats to both their relationship and their lives had me completely mesmerized until the very end. This story is raw and real and filled with bloodshed. I love seeing the character crossover from the other RBMC chapters and I look forward to seeing what will happen next.

Well. This was one a hell of an introduction to Osborn’s RMBC, Tampa FL Chapter! 🔥😍 I’ve read a few books from another one of her MC romance series but Seeking Shadows was my introduction to this RBMC one. It’s the third book in the series but it was honest to goodness written with such detail that I didn’t feel like I was missing any vital information by not having read books 1 and 2 beforehand. You’re given the gist of the characters and/ or couples from the previous books so you’re relatively up to scratch with their relationships and overall group dynamic.
So, if any readers out there interested in reading this book but concerned that it’s already the third one… don’t be. I can without a doubt tell you, you can read Seeking Shadows without having read the first two.
Now. Let’s get onto the man of the hour — Dash! *phew* Ok… when I first started this story and quickly realized Dash was pining for another MC brother’s ol’ lady… I was immediately questioning how this story would play out. I’ve read countless MC romances to know that club members don’t mess around with their brothers girlfriends, wives, or ol’ ladies. I seriously thought, “Geez! Please don’t tell me Dash ends up having an affair with this chick!” 😱🙈🙈
Needless to say… the story quickly turned a corner and not only was I breathing easier, but I couldn’t sit still from the unexpected turn of events. *waggles eyebrows*
This was steady-paced storytelling that I was all in for. I was loving the gradual build-up and story development. With dual points of view from both protagonists, it wasn’t difficult to get invested in both their personal stories. One thing that stood out to me about Dash in particular was that his story began with him as a prospect for the RBMC. Seeing him still at the stage of doing the club’s grunt work, steadily working his way up to be a full-fledged member— it showed plenty of character growth, that, along with a level of maturity. Right from the beginning he was already such a likable character (and with the awkward love triangle situation, you easily feel for him), but as the story progresses and he slowly realizes what he wants, you see the gradual change in him as he starts considering things in his life differently.
Besides the likable hero/heroine in this story, I was sucked into their slow-burn romance. I couldn’t get enough of their quirky, lighthearted friendship before anything romantic came about. The constant banter and comical ribbing added the necessary lightness to what was an overall dark, suspenseful romance. Their relationship organically developed and seemed so genuine to witness. They went through some relatable and realistic emotional hurdles that not only made their relationship stronger in the long run, but made me back them more as a couple!
Not going to lie, whilst most of the secondary characters in this book were likable enough, there were a couple of them that I just wasn’t a fan of at all, and never grew to like in the end either. They certainly played roles in providing another layer to this already action-packed story, but in my opinion, they were just as irritating (if not more) than the actual antagonists! Ugh. And to be honest, I was expecting better from them. I’m just glad Dash wasn’t having any of it! ✊😅
Halfway through the storyline took a surprising twist that I admit was a little out there. Whilst all the plot points interconnected in the end, I wasn’t completely sold on this particular part of the storyline, and in all honesty the book lost some of its appeal on me.
But in saying that, I thought both protagonists were brilliant characters, and I was completely gripped by their angsty relationship. I’m fist pumping air that the heroine is no pushover and that she’s a firecracker of a character! I liked that Dash is a flawed character with insecurities, but he’s also one full of heart and understanding. I respect his willingness to not only make adjustments, but once he sets his mind to something, he’s committed.
There were a lot of things happening in this story but it wasn’t overwhelming in the slightest. I liked the fact that there were a variety of settings within the story which only made the world-building all the more appealing.
Seeing the different group dynamics within, especially where Dash, his heroine, and their families were concerned was some of my favourite scenes to read (besides all the banter between the protagonists). 😜😄
As I mentioned earlier, this is a dark, suspenseful MC romance. It contains certain subject matters that may be triggering for some readers. Not only does it contain mature sexual content, it has strong, graphic violence, domestic abuse, kidnapping, and it also broaches the topic of suicide. Audiences 18+ only.
From my experiences with Osborn’s other books, I’ve always found her writing style to be consistently effortless to follow, with stories and characters I can easily get into— Seeking Shadows is no different. This book was unputdownable and an addictive MC romance that I would recommend to fellow dark romance readers. There’s a nice balance of romance and MC elements throughout. The character growth, the romance, and seeing the family dynamics were the absolute highlights in my opinion. You’ll find unpredictability and some gripping, hold-your-breath type scenes in this book that I always hoped to see in my MC romance books.
Although this is part of a series, the ending concluded in way where you’re not left with unanswered questions (at least not where Dash and his heroine are concerned). I know I was left feeling quite content with the way things ended in this book. It’s a swoony, taking-chances romance story weaved through a twisted, gritty underworld.

Seeing him still at the stage of doing the club’s grunt work, steadily working his way up to be a full-fledged member— it showed plenty of character growth, that, along with a level of maturity. Right from the beginning he was already such a likable character (and with the awkward love triangle situation, you easily feel for him), but as the story progresses and he slowly realizes what he wants, you see the gradual change in him as he starts considering things in his life differently.
Besides the likable hero/heroine in this story, I was sucked into their slow-burn romance. I couldn’t get enough of their quirky, lighthearted friendship before anything romantic came about. The constant banter and comical ribbing added the necessary lightness to what was an overall dark, suspenseful romance. Their relationship organically developed and seemed so genuine to witness. They went through some relatable and realistic emotional hurdles that not only made their relationship stronger in the long run, but made me back them more as a couple!
Not going to lie, whilst most of the secondary characters in this book were likable enough, there were a couple of them that I just wasn’t a fan of at all, and never grew to like in the end either. They certainly played roles in providing another layer to this already action-packed story, but in my opinion, they were just as irritating (if not more) than the actual antagonists! Ugh. And to be honest, I was expecting better from them. I’m just glad Dash wasn’t having any of it! ✊😅
Halfway through the storyline took a surprising twist that I admit was a little out there. Whilst all the plot points interconnected in the end, I wasn’t completely sold on this particular part of the storyline, and in all honesty the book lost some of its appeal on me.
But in saying that, I thought both protagonists were brilliant characters, and I was completely gripped by their angsty relationship. I’m fist pumping air that the heroine is no pushover and that she’s a firecracker of a character! I liked that Dash is a flawed character with insecurities, but he’s also one full of heart and understanding. I respect his willingness to not only make adjustments, but once he sets his mind to something, he’s committed.
There were a lot of things happening in this story but it wasn’t overwhelming in the slightest. I liked the fact that there were a variety of settings within the story which only made the world-building all the more appealing.
Seeing the different group dynamics within, especially where Dash, his heroine, and their families were concerned was some of my favourite scenes to read (besides all the banter between the protagonists). 😜😄
As I mentioned earlier, this is a dark, suspenseful MC romance. It contains certain subject matters that may be triggering for some readers. Not only does it contain mature sexual content, it has strong, graphic violence, domestic abuse, kidnapping, and it also broaches the topic of suicide. Audiences 18+ only.
From my experiences with Osborn’s other books, I’ve always found her writing style to be consistently effortless to follow, with stories and characters I can easily get into— Seeking Shadows is no different. This book was unputdownable and an addictive MC romance that I would recommend to fellow dark romance readers. There’s a nice balance of romance and MC elements throughout. The character growth, the romance, and seeing the family dynamics were the absolute highlights in my opinion. You’ll find unpredictability and some gripping, hold-your-breath type scenes in this book that I always hoped to see in my MC romance books.
Although this is part of a series, the ending concluded in way where you’re not left with unanswered questions (at least not where Dash and his heroine are concerned). I know I was left feeling quite content with the way things ended in this book. It’s a swoony, taking-chances romance story weaved through a twisted, gritty underworld.

Dash is a full brother of the tampa rbmc, he thinks he's in love but she friends zones him and he has to come to terms with the fact she does not want him that way but it is hard as she loves his vp. Dash has to find a way to cope with his feelings or loose everything but then he meets..... Shadow is a bartender she has a hidden past but when the past catches up to them both it rocks him and the club to the core. Can they have a future?Can he protect her and her son and himself? What will happen when the are confronted with the why, when,and how of the past. A great read and another addition to the rbmc 3rd run.

Another great installment in The Royal Bastards Tampa MC series. Kayleen writes great MC books knowing how to create a great action packed plot along with giving a great character arc to the main players. This book has action, drama and steam aplenty and I highly recommend you read this series.

This book was beyond amazing. Once I started there was no putting it down. I had to keep reading until I read the very last word and then I was needing more. It moved along at the perfect pace for the flow of the story making it an easy read and one that you could relax with as it wasnt jumping all over. The characters are so real that you feel as though you know them and you cannot help but love them. This is a must read no doubt about it.

I LOVE this Chapter of the Royal Bastards. The Dash, Ivy, Void triangle continues in this book but I think Dash has FINALLY got the message that Ivy has chosen Void. He gets himself into quite a mess. While taking a ride he finds the Drunken Lime Tavern. It's also when he finds Badass/Shadow. These two have quite the cat and mouse game going on. Their chemistry is off the charts hot but they both have things to work through before they can act on it.
Then of course other problems rear their ugly heads but these two handle it all like pros. Dash's story needed to be told and I'm so happy it has been. Tampa Chapter just keeps getting better!

The strongest writing I’ve seen to date from Osborn.
Falling for someone only to be put in the friend zone is gonna hurt. And when said person is with your VP? The hurt is magnified.

Dash had such a big heart and thought his feelings for Ivy were real until he met Shadow. Shadow is sassy,smart and protective of her son Cruz. The interactions between Dash and Cruz is so cute. Cruz and Shadow are what Dash has been looking for. Their story is fast-paced, full of suspense and intense emotions. I was swooned, I laughed, I cried and I wanted more.

Seeking Shadows is the story of Dash, a prospect for the Tampa RBMC chapter and Shadow, a single mom, girl on the run. This the the 3rd book in KE Osborn’s RBMC series and can be read as a standalone. Dash is a good-looking charmer who meets Shadow at a bar she works at while he’s cooling his heels from some trouble at his MC. Shadow is immediately attracted to the super handsome, funny guy, but she’s hesitant given both his baggage and hers. He’s getting over recently being friend-zoned and she’s hiding out from her ex who’s trying to get his hands on their son.

Tons of twists and turns and even a secret society all squished in without it seeming too much. This was my first book I’ve read in this series and I’m definitely going to go back and read the others!

Seeking Shadows is another gripping and gritty read in the Royal Bastards Tampa MC. Dash and Shadows book is about confronting the past, grabbing hold of the present and seeking a future. It is action packed, angsty, steamy and filled with suspense and drama. These two will have you riding a road with plenty of bumps, twists and turns but it will be that smooth clear road up ahead that will make it all worthwhile.

Well I was wondering how Dash was going to deal with Ivy choosing Void over him and I was not disappointed! KE Osborn knows how to write emotion into characters to the point you feel it deep within. Having Shadow as the one to pull Dash out of his own head was fantastic. She definitely lived up to her nickname that Dash gave her!! They balance each other out. And the the way Dash is with Cruz was so heartwarming.

Dash! Bless his heart! I just wanted to wrap him up and keep him! If anyone ever deserved a break it is definitely him. No matter how hard he tries he seems in deep $#i£. I was so happy to see shadow come into the picture. Although he still catches he££ with her. It does seem the only ones on his side are Iris & Cruz.

Shadow is sassy and has an amazing 4 year old son. Dash is having a hard time finding his place in the club and the girl he thinks he wants. But meeting Shadow and her son was a blessing. There is plenty of heat, danger and crazy people involved. HEA.

Poor Dash is friend zoned by the woman of his dreams…that is until he meets a bada** woman at the bar he’s gone to drown his woes in. She’s everything he didn’t know he wanted and everything he needs. When he inadvertently places her in danger again, he’ll do everything in his power to keep her and her son safe.

Dash thinks he is in love but he is quickly proved wrong. His punishment is so dang wrong but it does teach his a valuable lesson. Shadow and Cruz stole my heart from the beginning. She has a very hard time with trust but Dash will earn it. Excellent writing. I love each of these characters and what they represent.
