A fun twist on the "Royal" family story with a secret marriage being at the forefront of it. I enjoyed this story, bringing some of the questions from other stories to the light and answering them.

I was excited for this book, but I wasn’t sure what to expect. I didn't like the second book as much so I was a little unsure, however, I ended up really liking this book. Secrets of a Prince is the third book in Carol Moncado’s Princes of New Sargasso. In this book we finally get to read about Joshua and we get to hear Lady Minerva Waterford’s story.
Prince Joshua of New Sargasso has a secret side of his life, a side where he can be himself and relax. Lady Minerva Waterford has secrets that haunt her including the secret of her father’s power over her. But she also has secrets that even her father doesn’t know about. When Minerva and Joshua find themselves together, Joshua vows to help her. But when their secrets come to light, will it bring them together and force them apart?
I didn’t know how I would feel about Minnie, but I ended up liking her a lot. She didn't have to be mean, but she also had a lot going on. She was a sweet person underneath all of her armor, she was just afraid. Minnie had to deal with her father’s controlling thumb over her life and she was ready to burst. She tried her best, but she couldn't handle her father on her own. I didn’t like how Joshua and Minnie’s relationship started, but I thought that they were good together.
Minnie could be herself with Joss, and she knew that he would protect her. However, there were some things that Minnie had to face on her own and she needed to make the decision to trust God and his plans. I liked Minnie’s growth throughout the book and her repentance for past wrongs, she was a great character that I ended up really liking.
I was conflicted about Joss, Joshua, he was such an interesting character. I like him, but I didn't agree with everything he did in the book. He had to learn to think before he did things and actually seek counsel. Overall, though I liked him. He needed his own space, but he was also protective of Minnie. I really liked how he cared for Minnie and how he slowly fell in love with her. However, loving a person is hard work and Joss had to make the decision to love Minnie even when things got complicated.
Joss and Minnie had a lot to work through, but they learned to make it work. Secrets of a Prince was a great book! Joss and Minnie had to maneuver through their secrets and see that the truth will set you free. I would definitely recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the next book!

SECRETS - They are all around us. They can take control of our lives if we let them.
The secrets of these main characters in this new story by Carol Moncado have caused many issues and now they just want to fix them. Can they make everything right or will it cost them their dreams?
I enjoyed getting to know Prince Joshua and Lady Minerva Waterford, and see how they make right the mistakes they’ve each made. Can they do it without causing more issues?
This story is a story of forgiveness, grace, and hope. It’s also a story of finding value and purpose.
I love Secrets of a Prince, and enjoy getting to know more about this royal family!
Carol Moncado is an expert in writing stories that will take you deep into the lives of “royalty” and the world of “royals.”
In this book series, the author developed a whole new literary world within this current world and we find fun plots regarding it. The characters in this story are fascinated with the book series that is so ingrained in their lives. The whole country seems to know all about the books, so much so, they’ve made an online community for it. Now the fun part is to see who will be awarded the opportunity to write more books and add to the fictional world of Trilunium.
I think I'll read any book this author writes because they are always full of sweet romance and wonderful life lessons, with a bit of suspense.
I was given this book by the author which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I loved this latest release by Ms. Moncado! This book really keeps the reader on their toes trying to figure out what is going to happen. After reading the epilogue in the last book, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen in this one. This book continued from the previous books in the series and provided readers with even more information regarding several things in the previous books. I loved the book series that Ms. Moncado has created within this series of books as well. The information that she provides in these books is really cool and interesting to read. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series after I have been trying to figure out more about the prince that will be featured in that book. This book focuses on Prince Joshua and Lady Minerva. Lady Minerva is seen in previous books, but readers don’t really know or understand her until this book. Prince Joshua also is somewhat misunderstood. Together, readers will discover if they can work through their own issues separately and together. I highly recommend this book and series! I know you will not be disappointed!
***I was given a free electronic copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review. This is my honest opinion. Even though I received this copy free, I have purchased her books before.

Lady Minerva was under duress from her father to compromise a royal, particularly a prince if possible. She really didn't want to stoop so low, but her life has been so miserable for quite awhile now. She did have more opportunity to see Prince Joshua than the other ones. Opportunity came and She acted upon it. She got pregnant, but then miscarried. Her Dad insisted that she get a settlement from the King. Of course, whatever she got she would be expected to hand over to him. In spite of the development, what she really wanted was freedom from her father.
Joshua, who was Joss to family and friends, came up with a bold, daring plan to help her. What an incredible idea!! You'll need to read it. How will the plan effect the two of them and the royal family? What about her wicked father?

I loved Secrets of a Prince a lot more than I expected. It's the third book in the Prices of New Sargasso series. Prince Joshua and Lady Minerva Waterford both secrets, deep ones. And to be honest we've seen Lady Waterford in the previous books and I loathed her. To be kind she was not a nice person. But in this engaging story by our favorite Carol Moncado we learn so much more. Don't always believe about a persons outward persona.

This is a wonderful story that has many turns, unexpected between Prince Joshua and Lady Waterford. It's amazing how God can change anyone of us and work in our lives. I highly recommend this book and am now looking forward to Zeke's story. Read and be blessed.

This is the third in Moncado’s series “The Princes of New Sargasso.” If you haven’t read her books before, you probably should start with at least the first book in this series, Dinner with a Prince.

It’s nice to finally find out what was going on with Joss, after hints in the previous books. It was also nice to find out the truth about Lady Waterford. I won’t give anything away, but think on themes of redemption. There are plot twists, but not quite as breathtaking as in some other books. I’m looking forward to the final book in the series! Now to get Carol Moncado to write those Trilunium books :-)

I really wanted to not like Minnie. In fact I really wanted Joss to not like her! By the end of the book, not only did I fall in love with her, I understood why Joss did too. 2020 Has been the year we all quarantined some of us longer than others, Minnie "hides out" alone for way too long - without seeing anyone - I'm pretty sure I would have blown the whole thing if I couldn't even talk to anyone in person. As always, it is fun to find out exactly what the King/Father knows is going on in his children's lives. Twins are always fascinating, it has been fun to peak into the lives of this set of royal twins - to see what they share and what they have kept hidden from each other.

A Snarky Woman; Can She be Forgiven?

When Carol Moncado gives her readers a story about members of royalty we all rush to read it. Can we forgive the acid tongue of Lady Minerva, Minnie? We've met her before as she meets the royals, and wants a prince for herself. We readers could tell. Prince Joshua, the fifth Prince; will he succumb? Carol knows all the ins and outs, and manages to keep us touching the screen to flip the page. We must find out what's next. Keep them coming, Carol.

Joshua (Joss) and Lady Waterford (Minnie) wind up at the same functions together most times. The first part of this story overlaps part of the previous book, Masquerade with a Prince and fills in the story based on these two being the main characters. We get to know more about both of them, including the real Minnie. We see the rest of the royal family and spouses in this one as well. Page turning, enjoyable story with some surprises that continue a story arc that has been present in both previous books, though there aren’t any obvious loose threads in those.

Better read as part of the series

Often, books in a series can stand alone, and this is certainly a whole story in itself, but this one brings together a lot of storylines and really should be read within the series. That said, it’s really good. The redemption in this story is surprisingly good! And, again, while the story resolves, it definitely leaves us waiting for more!

Always good

I am never disappointed when I read a book by this author. I like some books more than others but ALL are treasured in my library and I read them many times. Secrets of a Prince is no exception. I like the story of redemption and how even when we make poor choices, they can be redeemed and forgiven. This is that story. Pick it up and enjoy!

Dynamite book that will keep you reading til the end!

How does Carol Moncado do it? Every novel I read gets better and better! This one was so good I got frustrated when dinner time rolled around. Can't have a starving family but I must admit I did consider it! This story had enough twists and turns that I really could not figure out what was next! It's killing me to wait two months for the next one!

Another one I couldn't put down

Prince Josh and Lady Minerva Waterford's story. Two people the royal family would never have even thought possible. She is cold and snobby to most everyone who has met her. But Josh knows otherwise. And he is willing to put a ring on her finger to prove he is right.

Great story

Zeke is still a mystery but this story does tell us what Kari decided to with her grandmother's manuscripts & notes.
Although Joss wasn't pictured in a good light in the last story, he is redeemed in this one. He found his way to becoming a man & a good person.
Minerva also found redemption & asked forgiveness for her snottiness in the previous books.

Be still my heart!!

Oh Joss.. Joshua! The two names were still confusing but I enjoyed this story! I did not think I was going to like Lady Waterford with the way she treated Rosie and Kari but boy was I wrong! I love her and Joss so much!! I did not see the twist with her father! I loved this book!

A different kind of story

This story is about a prince who is not careful in his relationship with someone who isn't a real friend. It is about a woman who has been mentally and emotionally abuse most of her life. It is about two people who do not know what tomorrow holds for them. It is a complicates journey and I truly enjoyed.

Carol Moncado's royalty stories are a delight to read. I don't know how in the world she keeps all the different royal families and members straight in her head. But her readers benefit.

I had an advance copy of this from the author. The review is my own.

This started off on a different note but I enjoyed Joss and Minnie's story. I was proud that she was able to apologize for her previous actions and make real connections. Both of them grew as individuals and a couple. Looking forward to Zeke's story!

Carol Moncado knows how to grab your attention and keep it, from the first page to the last. You will laugh, cry, and get pretty angry about how cruel some people can be. Especially those who are supposed to love and protect us.

Another escape into the lives of kings and kingdoms, or princes and princesses. Good to see what caused Lady Waterford to be such a pompous snob and her desire to seek forgiveness. Glad they both could find love and acceptance.

Love all Carol's books. This one shows how things aren't always as they seem. Couldn't wait to finish the book, but didn't want it to end.

Wow!

Wow! It was a great story of redemption. It showed how someone acts could have a hidden reason and God can work out all things for good.
