Sooooo, female Eivor is confirmed as the canon character. I guess the team really wants to get back at Ubisoft, and I'm here for it!
The storyline itself sounds classic but promising for the upcoming game. Albeit, it's weird to introduce an assassin as being incapable of stealth. It'd be cool and fun if they used the opportunity to make us play as Templars, but given this first issue I highly doubt Eivor's going that way. Still, if we see this as a Scandinavian warrior story which has little to do with the AC franchise, it's a solid start.
Jest to mój pierwszy komiks jaki przeczytałem i pozytywnie się zaskoczyłem. Wciągną mnie bardzo i przeczytałem go w zaledwie kilka godzin. Jest fajnie zilustrowany i przedstawia ciekawą historię - zupełnie inną jaką znamy z gry Assassin's Creed Valhalla, aczkolwiek z tymi samymi bohaterami, czyli Sigurdem i Eivor w żeńskiej postaci. Komiks mnie bardzo zaciekawił i w przyszłości na pewno będę chciał przeczytać jego kontynuację.
the comic is a prequel to the events of the game, between two protagonists, Eivor Varinsdottir and her brother Sigurd Styjbjornson. But I must say that it was a bit different for me to read it with female Eivor rather than the male version when I had played choosing the latter.
I’m a huge fan of AssassinsCreed Valhalla and when I saw that dark horse had created a series based on the game I was excited to read it. So far it is not disappointed.
i read the compilation of all three editions. i enjoyed it! i have loved assassin's creed for a really long time, and i enjoyed how the comic gave us a glimpse into eivor and sigurd's lives before the events of the game. i like how eivor's character wasn't squandered or changed dramatically, and sigurd still annoyed me, as usual. all and all, it was a pretty fun thing to read when i had a little break!
