Coming to the review, Chicken Soup books are always heartwarming. They play a tune that every heart can understand. And here is my POV on moms soul book.

The book shows:

- How mothers have their own secret language to communicate with their kids. A gesture as simple as heart squeeze also works wonders.
- How just kids want their MOMMY, whether in sickness or health. Whether both or adopted, a child always longs to be around their mother. Just like Samantha never adopted her non-biological mom, but at the end, her heart cried was for HER MOM
- Mother is home. No more, no less
- We all have time to build enduring memories that will sweeten the past, if any, with their musty perfume.
- Only one mom understands another

Lessons

- Always believe your mom.
- I have seen the tremendous power of love. No one can thrive without it. And with it, all things are possible.
- Grandmothers are second mothers

I could only quote a few things from this beautiful book. There are a lot. So whether you are a mom, mom to be, seasoned mom, please do give this book a read. Definitely worth everything.

Recommended for: Mothers! (Obviously! 😅)

Personal Note: It consists of stories of moms or of children who talks about their moms and grandmothers. For me, it's like listening to stories of friends who are moms and enjoying the stories with pizza and milktea. Oh, how I miss hanging out with my friends! Also, as I read it I would remember my mom when she was still alive. Of course, I miss her more.

Buku yg mengajarkan tentang cinta, ketulusan, kebahagiaan, keyakinan bahkan air mata lewat kisah kisah para ibu.

I picked this up at a garage sale and enjoyed it for what it was - cheesy but sincere anecdotes from nonprofessional authors. This was published decades ago and the generational/cultural differences were fascinating from an anthropological perspective.

A mixed bag of various aspects of motherhood. Some stories were ok, some went the extra step and made me tear up. It’s what you’d expect from a book in this series.

Loved it. As usual I read these when I am aggravated and it is like medicine when u are just way too fed up. It really does lift you up when u are down. Raising kids is not as easy as everyone thinks. There are times when the whining just gets to be too much but I pick up my book and it helps me regain my focus and helps me appreciate why I became a mother in the first place.
