I ended up breaking all of those promises and left her to raise our daughter by herself.

I’ve lost sleep over it these past three years, knowing that I desperately need them both in my life. I don’t know how to fix it. I don’t know what words can erase the damages I’ve done.

Then family tragedy strikes, and I’m left trying to piece things back together. I realize that now’s the time, I have to try to mend the things that I have broken.

Without warning, I show up on her doorstep, trying to right the wrongs.
All it boils down to is whether or not she’s willing to give me another chance.

Admit You Miss Me, A Surrogate Pregnancy Romance was totally different than I was expecting. It's the first book in the Irresistible Billionaires series and I can't wait for more. The prologue starts off the story seven years before and caught my interest immediately. This is Charles and Brenna's story and it began when they worked at the same beach in California one summer and he seemed to look out for her. They definitely had an attraction and when they acted on it, it was hot. That was until his mother set her straight!

When they meet unexpectedly seven years later the attraction still seems to be there but they are both wary and don't communicate their feelings well. Their arrangement goes sideways fast and neither knows what to do about it especially since her mother is ill and she needs the money to take care of her. It was nice to get to know the characters better and they had an unexpected depth to them. We learned about them a little at a time and found out why they acted the way they do. He has an overbearing mother who rules the roost and he's always gone along with her and her demands in the past, up to a point. That's all about to change and Brenna isn't sure he'll follow through. His cousin, Niall, was a nice addition to the story and I liked how he interacted with Charles and Brenna when he gets to meet her. Charles' mom, not so much!

There are definitely twists and turns during this second chance at romance story. There is nice closure with the epilogue which takes place a year later and catches us up on their lives and their happily ever after. There was an excerpt at the back of the book of the next book in this series, Admit You Love Me, and it's Niall's story. I look forward to reading it since it whet my appetite for more.

Ms. Williams is an author whose books I've enjoyed since I found them. Always with heat, opposites attract, babies and billionaires. What else could you want? Give her books a try if you haven't already.

I enjoy reading Williams's books so far but I am disappointed by this book. Charles and Brenna have a history together and they get their second chance after 7 years apart. I have nothing against a predictable plot which is like every second chance romances would be with an interfering cruel mother, class differences, and etc. But the reason I give this book 2 stars is because both Charles and Brenna's behaviors are so confusing especially Brenna's thinking method. Her first action towards Charles is like she doesn't want to do anything with him but then they have sex. And about her boss, I understand that she has her mother's health to consider but still sexual harassment shouldn't be ignored. I feel irritated because she should talk to Charles about everything since they reconcile but she keeps him in the dark. And the story keeps repeating like that which makes me feel boring. I am sorry but I have to give the book 2 stars.

I am conflicted on how I feel about this book. Brenna and Charles share history. But his meddling, hoity toity mother put a stop to all that. Then the whole looking for a surrogate and being matched. A little too unbelievable. But it’s fiction so I’ll give it a pass. When they reconnected, I can see how the sparks would fly. But what I couldn’t wrap my head around was how they didn’t communicate! Still all the secrets! I gave this book three stars because in the end it all worked out and even his mother came around.

I received an advance copy of this book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

A good second chance romance read.

A second chance romance read that has an interesting storyline that made for an enjoyable read. Charlie and Breanna had a history that ended unexpectedly, but Charlie has never forgotten her. When they meet again he will do everything to keep her, but his mom may have a say in it. You need to read this newest release to find out if they will be able to find their HEA?

Prologue:
Money is always so low for, Brenna and her mom. She has to have a job over the summer, it's necessary. Unlike some of the others, working for fun. This summer, Brenna is working in, Dana Point on the Beach at, the Snack Shack. Being there most days she has gotten, to know most of the other people working on the beach over the summer. Especially, her crush, the hottest lifeguard on the beach. The guy has an East Coast accent, but mixed with, a British accent that makes, Benna, melt.

Charlie Hampton asks her about the bond fire that would be happening later that night. While asking he looks at the ground. Almost afraid to hear her answer. Being that she was younger than most, them already being in college. Not to mention her having to work all the time. He tells her, “The summer’s basically over. It would be nice to have fun with everyone before we all go our separate ways.” She explained in that that case she would attend. It just bothered her to think with all their flirting all summer it would just be reduced to a summer fling when for her it clearly meant more.

He was so relieved to see her when she arrived at the bonfire. He even mentioned he thought she might have stood him up. He hands her a drink in a beer koozie when she said no she doesn't drink he pop’s it for her. She sips it and it’s coke. The two chat by the fire, walk on the beach and even make out. Then, he asks her to his place. She then realizes she wants him, to have the only gift she can give, to him, her virginity. He is more than praiseworthy in trying, to bring her through the experience with a good remembrance. She means something to him more than she even knows.

From this day on, they are inseparable. She is always at his place, key and all. Until one day she beats him home. And instead of the light on in the living room for him, there is a gorgeous older woman who slightly resembles him. He did say it is a relative place she figures this must be the case here.

That is until she very coldly announces she is, Charlie’s mother. Telling her, to understand, Brenna will never be anything in her son's life, but a side piece. He must marry into money, wealth, and class, of which she has none. Not to mention, her large physical appearance. Fat shaming her, as if she had never heard it before. However, hearing it from, Charlie’s mother devastates her. The final blow comes when his mother announces, his sizeable wealth and that he is of royal blood. A Duke or something. None of which she cares about. She‘s in with the beach bum, down-to-earth, Charlie. Brenna turns sets the key on the island, and tells his mother not, to tell him she had came by. And leaves...

From this point on the odd circumstance of how they come back together, is sad. Brenna is a woman desperate, to save her mother. Charlie is a man still pinning over, his one true love, that got away. He has no clue. Why.? His pushy, intrusive, and disrespectful mother is poison in his life. And, he has no clue. They do it like rabbits, just saying. If it were me, I would take the “Mommy dearest’s” key away. Just saying.

What a charming story! I like second chances that have happy endings. The story of Brenna and Charlie isn't totally smooth sailing. They certainly don't come from the same background but their short, intense tryst all those years ago didn't end well, mainly thanks to a series of misunderstandings, primarily perpetrated by Charlie's mother. Charlie is at his wits' end and wanting to put an end to his mother's matchmaking attempts to secure an heir, Charlie decides to cut out the middle-man and go straight to having a baby. In order to have one though, he'll need a "mother" and seeks the help of a fertility clinic to find a surrogate. Well, Brenna is desperate to help her mother overcome cancer and in order to get the amount of money necessary to give her the maximum chance, she registers to be a surrogate. Well, what could go wrong? Our protagonists, the one-time lovers meet again and the reader is taken on a rollercoaster of mixed and rapidly changing emotions. Old pains apparently haven't died and the book goes through the couple's evolving forgiveness and acceptance that their feelings are very much alive. The author had created likeable, well-developed and described strong characters. The language is always scene-appropriate, with good use of vobaculary, accompanied by good editing. This is a steamy novel written with a good understanding of human nature and intelligent, witty dialogue. The book touches sensitively upon the issues surrounding surrogacy. We are rewarded by a HEA, a cute baby, a wedding and both mothers accompanying our loving couple on their honeymoon. Well, one needs more than one babysitter at times. I would gladly recommend this novel to all lovers of romantic literature.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Brenna Andrews and Charles (Charlie) Hampton. 7 years ago these two met while working at Dana Point Beach. She worked in the snack shack he worked as a lifeguard. Everyday she tried to work up the nerve to see if he would like to go out with her sometime. Every time she chickened out. One day though he asked her if she was going to the end of season bonfire. She was so excited she almost couldn't say yes. After that night though something happened and now 7 years later Charlie is on a date with a woman that isn't Brenna unable to get her out of his mind and trying to do this out of obligation to his mother. He is sick of dating socialites and when his friend reminds him that he doesn't need a wife for the title he has he only needs an heir. The only woman he wants to have a raise children with is the one woman he can't find. What happens when one of them needs money and the other needs a child? Will this give them a shot at their HEA or will it just be something they did for the sake of his title?

This is another amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. Oh boy do I want to tell you so much more. However I don't want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Over all I enjoyed this book, but Charles' meddlesome mother and Brenna's lack of standing up for herself to his mother seven years ago, sort of put a damper on the book. Seven years is a long time to pine after someone, but in Charles' case, he never got over the one who left without a trace or even a goodbye. Charles spent a summer as a lifeguard at the beach, Brenna spent the same summer working at a snack shake and spending the time flirting back and forth with one another. Their love affair was hot and heavy until one day as Brenna enters the house with the key Charlie gave her, she comes face to face with his mother. Talk about a witch (insert a b instead of the w). Seven years go by and Charles is tired of having women thrown in his face by his mother who are boring and vapid, Charles goes to a fertility clinic to get a surrogate for his future heir. The traits of his ideal woman are an exact match to Brenna, She needs the money for the expensive cancer treatments for her mother, working one job just doesn't help with the bills.
Enough of the spoiler for this book, I did enjoy reading it none-the-less.

This story is incredible. The relationship between Brenna and Charlie is like love at first sight. the summer they first met Charlie was trying to get away from his mom and Brenna was working before going into college. Neither expected to find the other during that time. Their relationship began and ended at the end of that summer. Seven years later Charlie has come to terms that he won't marry anyone expect Brenna, but he hasn't been able to find or contact her. So to get his mom off his back he comes up with an idea. He finds a clinic that will help with what he wants. Brenna's life changed from one minute to another. She has to find a way to get more money inorder to help her mom. While in the beak room at work, Brenna is looking through the newspaper and sees an ad for a service that pays very well. She ends up calling the number on the ad and signs up for it. What she never expected was for Charlie to be the person looking for her services. Will she be willing to go through with everything that Charlie wants? What is going to happen once Charlie learns the reasoning behind Brenna leaving seven years ago? I received a free copy from the author and reviewed voluntarily.

Admit You Miss Me, is the first book in the Irresistible Billionaires Book 1, A Surrogate Pregnancy second chance romance, it is the story of Brenna and Charlie who met 7 years ago and had a summer romance that was ended by his mother as he was from a different background to Brenna.

Fate brings them back together at a fertility clinic, as Brenna need the money to pay her mums medical bills, and Charlie wanted an heir to stop his mother arranging dates for him, his one stipulation was that Brenna moved into his house for the duration of the pregnancy, which finally she agreed to.

Its a roller-coaster ride for Charlie to get Brenna to realise that its her he wants and loves, the sexual chemistry is there from the time they meet up again. Brenna is headstrong, independent and sassy but the connection between them breaks her down.

There are twists and turns during this second chance at romance story. There is nice closure with the epilogue which takes place a year later and catches us up on their lives and their happily ever after, this is a great start to the new series, I loved it!

Charles met Brenna years ago when he was working as a lifeguard, they fell in love, that is until his mother arrived on the scene and reminded him of his obligations!

When Charles' father died his title passed to Charles who became a Duke. His bossy overbearing mother is determined that he settle down and produce an heir with a woman of her choosing. She has been setting arranging dates with ladies so he can pick his Dutchess but he doesn't want to marry anyone he isn't in love with.
He decides to use a surrogate to have his heir and keep his mother off his back. He visits a fertility clinic to find someone suitable.

Brenna needs money, a lot of it because her mother has cancer and her treatment is very expensive. So when she sees an ad about becoming a surrogate and what she could earn she decides to do this.

Imagine their shock when they meet again in these circumstances, will either of them be able to keep to terms of the contract? Especially as neither of them has ever loved anyone else.

Charles and Brenna's story begins on a summer beach where they both worked. The fell for each other but his mother interfered because she felt that Brenna wasn’t good enough for her son. So, thanks to his mom things up it ended badly and Brenna left. Seven years later we find out Charles is rich and royalty and his mother has tried to fix him up with different women because she thinks she knows who would be best suited for him and she is ready for him to settle and have an heir for their family.
Brennan is a caring for her sick mother and needing money for doctor’s bills. When she sees an ad for a surrogate, she looks into it and as fate would have it that person just so happens to be Charles. Will his mother try to keep them apart again or will they find their happy ending this time around? Ajme Williams tells us another great story in their journey back to each other.

A Contract To Seal True Love -
It is a wonderful love story of two people torn apart by family interference, but fate brings them back together. Their second chance starts slowly, but just when they finally rekindle their relationship, drama ensues when an interfering family member and insecurities based on a painful past experience, nearly derails their journey to a happily ever after.

I fell in love with Brenna, who is sassy and headstrong, with a heart of gold and Charle , who is stubborn, determined and from a wealthy family, but doesn’t fit into the hoity-toity mould. The sexual tension between them is evident through the pages, but Ajme found the right balance in the plot, to ensure reading this story would be a truly pleasurable experience.

I really enjoyed reading Admit You Miss Me by Ajme Williams because it was such a fantastic book about Brenna and Charlie. They were together 7 years ago and it was pure bliss for both. Then Brenna up and disappeared. Charlie tried looking for her but could never find her. Both had some complications in each of their lives now. Brenna needed money to pay for her mom's cancer treatments and Charlie needed to find a wife and have an heir to get his mom off his back. Fate intervened again for Charlie and Brenna and they meet again at a fertility clinic. This was such a sweet and very steamy story that I loved reading. I hoped that each of them would get their happy ending with each other. I highly recommend reading this book.

Brenna and Charlie met at the beach the summer after Brenna's senior year. She worked at the snack bar. He was the lifeguard. They hooked up and enjoyed being with each other until...Charlie's very aristocratic Mother visits. You see Charlie is actually a billionaire Duke.
Seven years later:
Charlie is tired of his Mother setting him up with her opinion of the woman he should marry and get the heir. Charlie decides to find a surrogate for the heir and maybe his Mother will leave him alone.
Brenna works for an accounting firm. Her Mother has cancer. It is very costly. She sees an ad for surrogates, salary Fifty thousand dollars.
This is their story, full of emotions and misunderstandings , Mothers, very different worlds and trust. It is a highly entertaining book.

This story is full of emotions! It's interesting, captivating, crazy, and beautiful. Brenna is sweet, smart, independent, caring and so pretty. She needs money for her mother treatment so fate has it she answer an ad about being a surrogate. Charles is a Duke, sweet, smart, sexy, and loving. He is put in a position that he has to take drastic measures. So he goes to a surrogate clinical to get his heir. What Charles or Brenna did not expect to see each other again after seven years apart. I won't spoil the story for you! The writing was done beautifully. It flows throughout the story without any problems. Great work again Ajme Williams!

Admit You Miss Me. This book was great! I enjoyed this book! This book felt like a fairytale story. A story all women dream of having where the knight comes in and saves the day. Brenna was given a chance to get out of debt in a crazy way. Becoming a surrogate to someone she fell in love with seven years ago. Charlie worked at the same beach with her and connected that summer. But it didn't last. Now we meet again and will this be different? A good, fun read

That summer seven years ago was happy for Brenna, until she met the wicked witch. She was crushed and it deeply impacted her. Now, seven years later, she’s desperate for money and the only way she sees out of her situation is to become a surrogate. Easy money, right?

Charles’ mother has been trying to match him with the “right” woman his whole life. But he has already met the woman he wants to marry. Unfortunately she disappeared seven years ago. He’s measured every woman against her ever since, and they all come up lacking. To get dear old mum off his back, he decides to use a surrogate to produce the heir she’s so desperate for. Who should walk into the surrogacy clinic but the love of his life? Now to convince her that he wants her for more than her womb.

Grabbed me from the get go...
What a fabulous story of love lost & found, by chance or was it destiny? I fell under the spell once again of this author's craftsmanship, I was happy, on the verge of tears at times & so invested in this endearing couple. The hero's mother was a self serving irritation at best but I'd relish knocking her head off her shoulders. The heroine's poor mother was needing treatment for the BIG C but she remained the brave & humble & appreciative woman she had always been. Fortunately the hero kicked his mother to the curb to support his one & only true love who was carrying his baby. Highly recommended. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.

Ajme Williams just keeps getting better! What more needs to be said?

If you haven't read any of her books before, Where have you been?? If you have read her books before, Why are you bothering with the review??

This is one of the best books I've read from AW. It is witty, it is tragic, it is a love story, it is everything you need in a book you want to read and yes you will need tissues.

I can't wait for the next book and totally recommend that you add this one to you Kindle library before part two is released!!!

Oh what a beautiful heartwarming heartbreaking story about Charles and Brenna . She thought he was just a hot sexy guy from the beach. He knew she was special but fate happened and it wasn’t meant to be...or was it. Now Brenna needs help. She needs money badly to help her sick mum and pay for treatment. How far would you go to get money. Well, normally not have a baby.
A story I literally had to speed read, it is so good. Full of passion, romance, drama, secrets, jealousy and so much more.
I just love this author and can’t wait to see what’s next

DNF @ 78/233. I don’t like the writing or the characters. He’s like obsessed and yet in 7 years never tried to find her??? Like okay. As if. Especially as he’s supposed to be sooo rich. Like what?
And she’s just fucking obnoxious. How are you so in love with someone and then their mother tries to run you off but then you are mad at the guy?? I mean granted she thinks he didn’t care but the author is writing it like he loved her yet she’s right he never did contact her or try to find her. Stupid.
I would maybe give this author another try but probably won’t read anything else from this series.

Charles had a history with Brenna and its one that unrequited. She ends up being a surrogate for him.
Charles started of being a total bastard I the beginning but redeemed himself. Brenna unfortunately didnt have much self control when she was near him. Their chemistry was strange to say the least but it worked eventually. This was well written even though it was a strange subject, it was a great book. The characters were likeable, and its an easy to read book the was heart felt and valid.
