People, you will never and I mean NEVER visualize Goldilocks aka Goldie (real name:Gina) in the same way after reading Theodora Taylor's take in her latest Quarantales," Goldie and the Three Bears!"
QUARANTALES book 3 was an on FIRE read for me ("Hotter than July") with three distinct alpha footballer named Jeb, Nico and Mitch in a reverse harem format in Wisconsin of all places with Goldie in a broken down vehicle!
I have to say it but this was my favorite book in the series and how I wish I could give it 10 HOTT, smexy stars!
While Goldie is on the run from a abusive ex, she experiences some car trouble and finds herself at the mercy of three sexy strangers. After spending a little time getting to know her rescuers Goldie comes to the realization that it may not be so bad to be surrounded by three smokin hot men and starts to get comfortable. But Goldie’s life experiences has taught her that all good things usually come to an abrupt end and before that happens she would rather leave than be thrown aside. To bad her hot and sexy hero’s didn’t get the memo and they would do anything to convince her that with them is where she belongs. Goldie and the Three Bears is the third installment of Theodora Taylor’s Quarantales series and if you enjoyed the first two books, you’ll love this one because it has 3 times the fun of the first two installments. Finding love with the right one is no easy feat, but finding the right 3 loves is an over abundance of riches and Goldie has just hit the mother lode. This story is entertainingly sexy with some heartfelt moments which made for an enjoyable read and did I mention the smokin hot love scenes which are plentiful. If you’re looking for a great book to past the time while quarantined I think you’ll enjoy Goldie and her Three Bears.
This is a ARC review: Sooooo in our third book in the quarantale series we follow Gina aka Goldie and her the sexy as sin guys (Mitch, Jeb, and Nico). Ill have to say this series definitely improve with each book. This was freaking HOT as hell favorite scene is Goldie and Jeb ill leave it at that and trust you'll know it when you read it lol. Ill actually say I felt that Goldie & Jeb relationship arc was the most compelling especially haven't both characters under estimate each other and then seeing their commonalities. If I had one con I would say there wasn't enough relationship development with the other two guys as I would of liked. Overall good story which isn't surprising with this great author.
I enjoyed this steamy romance, one of TT's steamiest in this series which featured three distinctly alpha male, foster brothers; a vulnerable and insecure heroine; amid a suspense thriller. As usual the author had a knack for tugging the heartstrings, making the reader feel the emotions the characters were experiencing. I enjoyed the storyline tied among the members in the shared relationship, the strengths as well as the diverse and frankly engaging personalities that each brought into the relationship. They complemented each other well. The fire between the sheets was off the charts. Be prepared to fan yourself, yet simultaneously there was love and affection between. This was story as well as steam.
In this story, Gina, or "Goldie" runs away from an abusive relationship. Her car breaks down on her way to Canada and ends up staying with three hot football players. They make her an offer she doesn't want to refuse in exchange for assisting her getting her car repaired. One week ends up being a few months until eventually love emerges; conflict is resolved in a surprising, decisive manner. There were definitely take-charge alpha males in action in this story.
Overall, great contemporary, steamy romance, which was mostly traditional.
You know those books that are just a fun time? They don’t take themselves too seriously and all they set out to do is entertain? Goldie and the Three Bears is that plus a whole lotta horny energy! I either really enjoy RH romances or I don’t. I tend to not fall in the middle. And if I don’t enjoy one it’s usually because of the writing style/the characters not having distinct personalities. I don’t like it when the characters are muddy and I can’t tell them apart. And I’m happy to report that Theodora Taylor did it perfectly! Mitch was the smooth and flirty one with a dirty talking, play by play kink (he loved hearing what was being done to Goldie and how she felt during sex). Nico was the sensitive one with a monster in his pants that loved making love and taking care of the emotional side of Goldie. And Jeb was the alpha, the master, the Daddy. He was the kinkiest and grumpiest out of them all and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t immediately latch onto him. Why is a grumpy asshole with a tragic past so damn appealing? Of course once Jeb and Goldie started opening up to each other they realized how similar they were and feelings grew very fast. Goldie was my damn girl. She has been through it though so her self esteem, self confidence, and self worth is in the toilet but those three dudes put her back on the right track and really started the beginning of her healing from past abuse. There were scenes where Goldie (Gina is her real name but she mostly goes by Goldie in the book) had this nasty voice of her abuser in her head saying terrible things and that was something that really connected me to her character as I’ve suffered from that for years. But I saw how strong Goldie was for leaving in the first place and I was so proud of her for making the decisions she did. So yes I greatly enjoyed my time with this foursome and I recommend! There’s MMFM (no sword crossing though), one on one sex scenes, and group sex scenes. TW: there’s scenes and talks of domestic abuse/domestic violence.
I loved this book. Theodora just can't write a book I don't like. So Gina, or Goldie as the bears know her, is running from her abusive ex. She has a horrible car that breaks down and she has to walk to find some help. She comes upon a cabin and decides to stay the night. What happens next is just amazing. She finds three men who help her see that their are people out there, besides friends and family, who can love you without conditions. I love that each of the men had a role that they played but when she needed them they were able to be exactly what she needed. Love this book and all three bears.
The story was sexy and erotic, and had me clutching my pearls, crossing my legs and fanning myself! Although, it delivered on the erotic, the sexiest part of this story is the unconventional bond they shared. The way in which they appreciated each other, and their Journeys, offering unconditional understanding and support along the way was beautiful and heart warming. That ability they had to know when to stand back and when to push the boundaries. I loved this story. And I’m the spirit of full disclosure every man was unique and amazing but Jeb was my favourite.
I mean, can I still be classified as vegan after consuming this much cheese? This book is hilariously bad. Gina aka Goldie is a girl in trouble. She and her blonde weave had to literally get out of town to save her life. Long story short, she’s with 3 bears, only wears one t-shirt and is dedicated to a busted pair of wedge heels. The end. No, serious this book is hilarious. I actually found the lead to be annoying, but the scenes are hot and the cheesiness kept me cringing and laughing. So 3 stars.
Gina is fleeing an untenable situation, low on funds, and now her car has broken down in an isolated area. How much worse can things get? Fortune smiles on her, as three sexy protective men will share shelter and so much more with her. Gina in some ways is a relatable character, having slowly had her self esteem eroded away my a despicable man. Demonstrating that isolation takes many forms, even as support and love come from other avenues. I found some of her initial responses upon first meeting Nico, Mitch, and Jeb, odd IMHO. I liked this story overall.
I enjoyed this book more than the others because I finally got to read the book from the POV of the heroes. I’ve never read a book like this before and I went about reading it with an open mind and I definitely enjoyed it. Now I’ll be giving books with men who like to share a fair chance. Thanks Theodora for that. The Quarantales series is a must read. You wouldn’t be disappointed ( at least I wasn’t)
Gina, former beauty queen, loses her mom to cancer and is all alone in the world except her two friends Cynda and Billie who'd competed with her. To finish college, she gets a job stripping where she meets Tony, a cop. Soon she finds herself on the wrong end of a domestic violence abuse situation. Gathering up enough courage, she runs, headed to Canada to start a new life, but the cheap car she bought for cash breaks down and she has to break in a house for shelter. Here, she finds more than she bargained for and the love she'd been searching for from the most unlikely of sources. I loved this retelling of Goldilocks.
OMG! Just OMG! I was super excited for this third installation in pagaent friends finding love during the quarantine. And OH Boy, I was not ready for Goldie (Gina) and the 3 Bears ( Jeb, Mitch, and Nico). LAWD, this book was HOT🔥🔥. Gina ditches her abusive boyfriend and decides to go on the run. She meets these men, and wow does the story get good. If you loved the first two like I did, you will defintely enjoy this third book. And like anything that Theodora Taylor rights, this was GOOD! Great drama, character development, and HEA. Will i recommend this book to my friends,.....Yes, Daddy.🔥🔥🔥🔥
To say that Goldie leveled up would be the understatement of the longest year in history hahaha!!!
I love a good heroine that isn't annoying in anyway.
Now, about them three bears...
What I wouldn't give to be Goldie for one night lmaooo! Honestly, I love how they all had something different to bring to the relationship. It felt as natural as any monogamous 2 party relationship and honestly, I loved this so much!! The dynamic of their relationship really was something I was skeptical about going in but it quickly turned out to be my favorite story of the 3 beauty queens!!
This was fire!! I mean fiyyaaaahhhh!!! This was such a great story and I enjoyed every single second of it. To be honest I always worry if these types of stories will be believable but TT did the darn thang. There was growth, out of this world sexy, and a believable HEA. I’m just sad this had to end. I mean I jumped the hubs on this one so he’s like read it everyday!!! But we seriously if you haven’t already read this series go on ahead and do it you won’t regret it.
Goldie and the three bears This is a story of a woman running from one man and finds three very different men that brings out her sexual nature and through that emotional healing. I didn’t know what to expect but found myself enjoying it. Another hit for Theodora Taylor Sexual awakening Emotional healing
This felt like instalust and not much else. Aside from it being difficult to write a book with 4 people in a relationship, it’s so short that, by the time the declarations come, I didn’t quite buy it. I think they all moderately liked each other but love was a stretch.
The entire story takes place in this cabin, so there’s no real world building. It also seemed like the men waited like a month to buy Goldie clothes. That was odd. .
Not really for me, but someone else might enjoy this one.
Multiple partner books are not something I go for ordinarily I just think they are messy, so it's very hard to get me to read let alone complete one but I liked this one, each partner connects with the heroine in their own way and you can tell what she in turn likes about each of them and there's a buildup, what was meant to be just short interlude turns into something much more.
This book was really good. Personally, I couldn't do a quad relationship and it's not really my jam to read along with being a little taboo. But damn if it ain't intriguing on some level of my freak meter 😊. If this is your jam or if your open-minded I think you would enjoy this book.
I have to say Ms. Taylor did well with this story. It's always the young one, lol. I was clutching my visible pearls! The sex scenes were five-alarm fire hot!
Super hot reverse harem with a biracial heroine; one hero was Latino, not sure about the ethnicities of the other two men. I loved the set-up that had the heroine breaking into the house of, making herself a meal and falling asleep in the bed of one of the heroes. After that... well, it's not a story for children.
Disclaimer: I'm acquainted with the author on social media.
This included lots of erotic scenes, but each character was well drawn, and there was a true romance between them and Gina, aka, Goldie. It's set in the Wisconsin woods, and the guys play football for a fictional "Bears" team (oh, the irony! The Chicago Bears & the Green Bay Packers from Wisconsin, big rivals IRL). So, the cabin is very nice, and there are piles of money.
It ends with the bad guys getting his just deserts, and a happily ever after.
I will admit I was a bit skeptical about this book, 3 guys , 1 girl but I did liked it. The story was well written and I like the romance between Goldie, Mitch, Nico and Jeb. It was hawt and very sweet. My only complain was how super weak Gina was. I get being nervous and scared but, the way she keep saying I'm sorry bother me. it didn't bother be so much that I did not enjoy the book, I did it just that bother me a little. Overall, a good read
This book was the best out of all the quarantales series. And my God it was steamy🔥.Goldie was a wonderful heroine, and the guys were pure perfection.Growly Jeb,the sweetness of Nico, and Mitch with his fine self lol. Please read this book you will love it.
I can never understand why someone would stay in a relationship with someone who was abusing them. Especially those who has physically put there hands on them. But that's not what I didn't understand. What I didn't understand is how someone cannot fight for themselves. How they could allow someone else to hit them and not hit that person back.
Now I know that everyone can fight back, but for me I can never allow anyone to put there hands on me and not hit them right back. Maybe a big part of it is how I was raise, and who I grew up with. I think having brother who was rough with me a kid, had a lot to do with it, or maybe it the fact that my mother taught me to defend myself when someone put there hands on you.
So to me reading the beginning of this book was hard for me, since I literally kept yelling to hit him back. Don't allow anyone to put their hands on you and not defend yourself. At the very least fight back or get the heck out of there.
But what I enjoy reading the most is how she FINALLY fights back and stand up for herself... well for those she loves. I love that she is one of the lucky ones that figures out that she needs to get out of there, and protect herself and her baby. I love the fact that she was down and low and allow someone else in to help her see that she deserve better.
Out of the 3 books I think this one is my favorite and more meaningful to me. This one made me really cheer on Gina. It really touch me since I know there are a lot of people out there who needs to get out of a bad relationship. Hopefully they're able to get there like she has.
But on another note let talk about the 3 sexy man in this book, Nico, Jeb, and Mitch. Then men are something else. Each has their own personality and likes and I love them all. Talk about a bish being lucky. She got a strong, mean, resourceful one, Jeb. Then she has the put all together, businessman, with great leadership skills, Mitch. Then the sweet, kind, amazing cook, and attentive, Nico. And all three are some dominate males who knows how to put it down.
Talk about lucky bish, and some yummy delicious men. And again I say Lucky Bish.
I really love this book and if your like me and a big fan of Theodora Taylor, and even if this is your first time reading her books. Your in for a treat. Enjoy. :)
Though I prefer my menage books to have sexual / romantic interaction between all the parties, I do enjoy a well done menage (or reverse harem) story where only the woman is the focal point of sexual / romantic interaction. "Goldie and the Three Bears" is a well done romance featuring a woman on the run meeting the three men who will love her and change her life.
Those who've read the author's other Quarantales book have been introduced to Gina. She's a gorgeous woman who met the wrong man and whose quality of life is poorer due to that. He's crushed her until she's a ball of insecurity and fear. When she finally decides to escape him, it's an attempt made with limited funds and a lemon car. Her car breaking down in Wisconsin turns out to be the best thing to ever happen to her.
Nico, Mitch, and Jeb are three football players living in the Wisconsin wilderness. After Gina breaks in to their cabin and is caught, she strikes a deal with them that will forever change their lives.
This is an entertaining read. I like Gina. She's flawed but she's a character trying to overcome her recent history to make a better life for herself. In finding those three men, she not only finds strength to grow as an individual but to also learn to trust and love again. It's a slow build development I appreciated reading in Gina rather than a quick fix. Aside from the emotional bonds, the chemistry between Gina and the men is all very good. The men are very different so each individual bond works well and is believable within the group bond dynamics.
Fun, hot book that I think readers will enjoy with a heroine to root for and the three men who love her.
Off the charts, super hot reverse harem novella. I really enjoyed this! Gina suffered severe mental and physical abuse from her fiance who also happens to be a cop. She finds out she's pregnant with his baby and gets out of dodge en route to stay with her aunt in Canada but she's driving this old car that ends up breaking down on her in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin. She lucks out and finds a cabin where she gets some food and is able to bathe. Only to be met with Three Bears who own the cabin. Yes, three football players from the Wisconsin Bears who are foster brothers and only engage in relationships where they share women. Nina finds herself in a bind with very little money and can't afford to get her car fixed, they make her an unusual proposition. Stay with them for two weeks, they'll pay her $50,000 and all she has to do is sleep with all of them for the duration. Sometimes together, sometimes not, but always sharing. What develops is a really interesting dynamic between all four of them. How in the hell can one woman--pregnant one at that-- satisfy 3 hot-blooded, sex fiend, athletes. Oh, the yumminess of it all. Theodora Taylor does it yet again. This was so steamy but also unique love story at the same time. It's surprisingly believable that they'd all have this collective relationship together. Read this, but beware there are really explicit sex scenes including anal play, BDSM and Gina aka Goldie being with all three men at the same time! Enjoy!
3.00 Stars. (BW/ 2 WM+1 LM). Kindle Edition e-book $4.99. Fairytale revision. Reverse harem. The writing is good; but the constant "I'm not worthy." by the heroine is tiresome and overwhelmed every other element of the story. All the caring and romantic gestures and sexual desire demonstrated by the heroes and her physical responses to them felled to produce any romantic chemistry on the part of the heroine. The heroine, Gina Bryant/ "Goldie", has recently found out that she is pregnant by her mentally and physically abusive and controlling boyfriend and she is trying to get to Canada to get away from him. On route to Canada, her car breaks down in a wooded secluded area, seeking help she finds and enters the large ultra modern log cabin of the hero, Mitch, Nico and Jeb, the three bears, who play football for the Wisconsin Bears. The three Bears, all products of broken homes and the foster care system are looking to marry and share a wife. Gina offers to have sex with them and ride out the Covid-19 shout-n for a price. The story revolves around the Bears coming to the conclusion that she is the woman for them and with Gina getting over her feelings of worthlessness and being undeserving of the three heroes. It all ends well.
Hmm I was gonna give this 4 stars till I got to the end and saw the only way I can read reina's story was to sign up for TT's newsletter and now im furious. What a goddamn fucking cheat and way to treat loyal readers!
NO I DONT WANT TO SIGN UP TO YET ANOTHER AUTHOR NEWSLETTER THANKYOU!!!!
The book itself was great, mc's and storyline though I had to suspend disbelief regarding the mammoth sex sessions when she's pregnant, I mean really? A pregnant woman can fuck 3 guys so many times a night every day? Sorry I've never met a single woman who could do that with one guy much less 3. And I've had 2 children myself. You just wouldn't have the energy much less all that pounding every night against her cervix cos of course they've got big dicks and she's not seriously struggling? Nope
I dont know whats happened to TT in this series, which bar far is her weakest yet. Almost unrecognisable as her tbh.
Disappointed again n pretty pissed about book 4. Not good TT, infact how goddamn insulting and ive read every single book of yours!! Way to reward loyal readers!!!
