Cooper and Hadley ended up roommates through their mutual friend but ended up because best friends. But under that friends status there was always more lingering in the background. Once they finally let their guards down they realize they don’t want to be friend zoned any more.

This one was pretty cute and little low drama.
Hadley and Cooper have been friends and roommates for almost a year or so and Cooper has always saw Hadley as his just never went for it, we see Hadley change her feelings for her friend/roommate when she's fired. Their relationship was so cute and I enjoyed it. But Hadley did try to pull back with the "last night was a mistake" line.. ouch not many would wanna hear that.

Hadley and Cooper had been roommates for a while, but were destined to be soulmates forever. After a very bad day at work (Hadley was fired), she wanted nothing more than to forget what a failure she felt like after losing her job. Cooper automatically knows Hadley is upset when he came home with dinner and set out to figure out the problem and make it better for Hadley. One thing turned into another and before she knows it, Hadley is seeing Cooper in a whole new light. Cooper is seeing Hadley in the same light he's always seen her--as his! Loved meeting Cooper's parents and Hadley's brother-boss Tyler (whose book will be epic). I blew through this book in a couple of hours--once I started I could not put it down! Always love an alpha male and a HEA.

We got another great story here. No details whatsoever about eithers past and I greatly appreciate that. Just a lovely story about friends who fall in love and their journey to finding their HEA. No talk about others after meeting, no OM/OW drama, epilogues at 3 months and 5 years.

Hadley and Cooper are soooo wonderful! I love how Cooper takes care of Hadley, even within the confines of their friendship. He recognizes how entwined their lives have become, have they support one another, care for one another, and are in a relationship in every way except physically. Giving in to those feelings, Hadley is confused, happy, and terrified all at once - not having the family support that Cooper has enjoyed. I love that Cooper's family accepts Hadley with open arms, and has ever since their friendship formed. Being part of the Love Trap multi-author collection, Hadley and Cooper get trapped in an elevator, allowing them ample time to work out their feelings, get on the same page. And being trapped has never been so hot!!! A fun and sexy story, one not to be missed! Happy Reading!!

Hadley needed a place to stay, her best friend Tyler puts Cooper in a tough place, he doesn't need a roommate, but agrees, it turns out to be the best decision he's made. Hadley and Copper are now best friends, both hiding the secret affection and attraction. Then one night it happens and their wotld changes, turns around and Cooper isn't letting her go. This is forever for him and knows down deep its the same for her, she just neefs to take that leap. Loved tis story. Hoping for a fiesty woman to corner Tyler next.

Hadley and Cooper are room mates but they have an attraction to each other they fight. When Cooper finds Hadley upset and drinking one night on the balcony he pulls her inside. Cooper feeds Hadley while trying to comfort her and learn what's wrong. When she tells him that she was laid off he is upset for her but assures her that she has no worries that she isn't moving out. Its not long before things heat up between them but when Hadley wakes the next day she worries that she might have ruined their friendship and tries to pull away from Cooper. Will Cooper fight for Hadley? Can Hadley see that she isn't the failure her family seems to think she is?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Sometimes love is right under your nose.
I kind of loved this short friends to lovers story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Tyler was an awesome friend to both of them. Cooper was sweet and alpha. He was put together and accomplished. Hadley was sweet as well and had plans that weren’t currently going well. She was upset with herself and the situation. Cooper was supportive and caring when Hadley told him her news. Quite suddenly their relationship takes an unexpected twist that both of them had secretly wanted. There is some angst and a miscommunication between them but it resolves quickly. I loved Cooper and Hadley’s happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Some of the best romantic relationships start as strong and loving friendships. But some of the best friendships are have potential for more but the couple is stuck in the friend zone because one or the other friend wants more but does not think the feelings are reciprocated. Cooper and Hadley are roommates, then they become friends and then they get a chance to be more. They are there for one another and it is good to see a solid connection deepen as they work through their issues and move past the friend zone.

After Hadley hooked up with Cooper her fear had her running and making a quick retreat. She was definitely the messed up one in the friendship, being needy, out of work, unappreciated, and full of pride. I liked the way the story started with Hadley and Cooper living together for a year platonically, with Cooper helping her out for their mutual friend Tyler.
The intimate scenes were super steamy showing their chemistry and the way Cooper was so into Hadley. I especially liked the way Cooper never wavered after their hookup and was determined to make it more.

Hadley and Cooper are as cute as they can be. Hadley is Cooper roommate and have been for over a year thanks to Taylor family the owner of the bar Hadley was working in. Hadley gets fired from her job one day and decides to buy two bottles of the best cheap liquor she can. Cooper comes home with dinner and all he wants to do is comfort Hadley and boys does! So much so that Hadley wakes up the next morning and takes off running. This book is so good, I reads it while waiting for an oil change and all I kept thinking was “can this guy shut up so I can finish my book”

After my old boss so willingly sang my praises to his best friend, who although hesitant, took me in as a roommate. I had a home and the job I'd spent my entire college career working toward. However after being fired Hadley is afraid her roommate and now best friend is about to kick her to the curb. What she never saw coming was Cooper's reaction to her news and what takes place after.

I absolutely love this book!
I Definitely could not put it down.
This book kept me hooked from page 1 to the very end. Hadley and Cooper start out as friends, and that's all I'm saying you'll just have to read it to get "the rest of the story"! It's a love story, it's sexy as hell and I can't wait for the next book to come out!
Tory is rocking the Author gig! I wouldn't mind being Hadley for a day( or more,) this book rocked!!!!

Such a fun read! These two might have felt stuck in the friend zone for a while but by the time we meet them, the wall between them has started to crumble. This was all the sweet and sexiness you expect from Tory Baker. Hadley and Cooper are a great couple who already know each other's strengths and weaknesses. That is why I love this particular trope and this author depicts that beautifully. Another lovely escape from the real world, I cannot wait for the next one!

I have loved some of the recent books from this author, especially the Nighthawk series but this one just missed the mark for me.
Even though the main themes for these books are Insta-love/romance, I still enjoy them because there’s alot of depth to the main characters relationship but I just didn’t feel it with Cooper and Hadley.
The overall story was still sweet and safe with steamy scenes. So if thats what you’re looking for then this would be the book for you.

Tory Baker did a great job on Friend Zoned, the plot was strong, the story was written well. I enjoyed Hadley and Cooper's journey. Not only did they have a strong friendship but the feelings they had for each other were much stronger, they were drawn to each other. The chemistry between them was sexy and sweet. They may have had a few obstacles but they were great together.
This was a great story, I enjoyed it.

Cooper and Hadley are first acquaintances, then roommates which develops into friendship, now can they break in to much more. This was a steamy book written with humor, romance and support of friendship. I took pleasure in all these characters and how well they all interacted with each other. Loved the epilogue in how well they progressed.

I loved Friend Zoned by Tory Baker! Best friends Hadley and Cooper finally see what's been in front of them when Hadley gets fired and Cooper offers her a shoulder to cry on. Cooper was reluctant to let Hadley move in but she was a friend and she needed a place to stay. There is seriously hot chemistry between them. If you like friends to lovers romance, you will love this quick and steamy story.

Hannah and Cooper are roommates, have been for about a year, and both are fighting an attraction to the other. One night causes the walls to come down, things heat up and passion explodes. The next thing Cooper knows, Hannah is running after telling him it was a mistake. I love how the characters eventually come together to talk things out. There is a bit of drama but they don't let it drag out. Cooper and Hannah have wonderful chemistry and their story is well written.

I enjoyed Cooper and Hadley's story. It's a fairly short and quick read with some definite sexy but also such sweetness. Best friends and roommates until one night and to much wine later things change. Hadley is upset because she lost her job. Cooper comes home and finds her upset and things happen. Then their true feelings come out. This is such a cute friends to so much more story. I love the characters!

Absolutely amazing and I loved it! It is an engaging page turner that is emotionally deep, moves along at a brisk pace, well written, well-developed, steamy, consistent, drama-filled, LOL funny, witty, and exciting. The characters are likeable and relatable; the chemistry between them is intense and sizzling hot. Definitely recommended!

One heck of a bad day leads to one heck of a great night...
This story was not completely what I expected based on the synopsis. Don't get me wrong, I actually liked it better than I expected to. I loved Cooper, and thought he was wonderful. Hadley... she really needed to grow up. It actually surprised me when she turned around because I didn't think she had it in her. Enjoyable and quick read.

How to get out of the "friend zone"
This friends to more story about Hadley and Cooper was a roller-coaster ride for poor Cooper, and my heart if truth be told. I really loved this story though as it has a different twist on this trope which makes it a great read. Plus Tory Baker always knows how to write a smexy as all heck novella where you love the characters and there is a solid story-line.

The perfect short friends to lovers story! Cooper and Hadley have been roommates for over a year when their relationship takes a turn. They’ve both thought of the other in more than a friend-type way but never voiced their feelings or acted on them. Well that all changes one night and what a night it was! Very hot and lots of love in their story.
