The poor little thing, woke up very upset, “how much worse can it get?” But mom was in a hurry and made it “We have to go now, there’s no time, my dear.” That morning, mom had to say everything “Please brush your teeth and wear something nice. Where are your shoes, you’re not ready at all…? Why did you pour so much milk in that bowl?”
Review ♥ I LOVE YOU ANYWAY ♥ Sigal Adler, just keeps adding to her impressive number of books for children. Each of her books was written in Hebrew and as they became best sellers in Israel she decided to have them translated into English to benefit an even broader range of children. As always Sigal's rhyming style is delightful. The stories are not only entertaining but they also carry some subtle messages to those children fortunate enough to read them - or have them read to them. The books are enhanced by illustrators from Pixel Ink Studios. In this book, GOOD DAY OR BAD DAY - I LOVE YOU ANYWAY!, the youngster monster is having a bad day and even his mother has to remind (and correct) him about habits and tardiness. He goes to school and that is bad, too, He returns home and talks with sass, has accidents, refuses to eat the right things until his mom tries not to get angry, and just needs to rest. 'He suddenly saw his mom on the couch and felt terribly sad for being such a grouch. The grouchy monster was wild and impolite, he was rude to his mom and that wasn't right.' He hugs his mom, 'He wanted to tell her why things went bad, sometimes he's happy, and sometimes he's sad. Sometimes he's strong, and at times he felt weak, He liked to be quiet, but he also likes to speak.' He asks his mom if she rather has a different son - but his forgiving mom loves him and returns his question 'Would you want another mom?' Of course, love is expressed by both, little monster tidies up and sleeps with his mother's love assured. 'Monsters and people can feel down and sad, but luckily most days, we're cheery and glad.' This is another wonderful children's book, beautifully written in magical rhyme and related with terrific illustrations, and of course with a valuable lesson! - Very Highly Recommended. Grady Harp,
When your day starts out lousy and you just don't don't know what to do, you might want to take it out on the ones you love, then worry later. That's what the lil monster did, but mom teaches him that it's okay to have a bad day. The illustrations match the storyline well and have nice bright colors that children will like.
Mother monster woke up son monster. He was not having a good day already. Mom was on him to hurry up they had to leave. He made it to school on time. When he got home son monster was not in a good mood. Did he finally calm down?
I do not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing free books from publishers & authors. Therefore, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.
An awesome book cover, great hand drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (emotions), movie, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

Sigal Adler’s “Good Day or Bad Day” with attractive colorful, child-friendly drawings by Pixel Inc Studio, written in clever poetry, is a lovely story that will delight children and teach them the value of love and the value of their moms. The little likeable monster, as many human kids, awakes feeling that today is a terrible day. He isn’t satisfied with anything. His mom needs to tell him what to do more than once. But then he feels bad for the way he acted and how he treated mom. Children will feel good when they hear how mom reacts. Love wins!
Thanks so very much Ms Adler for this well illustrated and colorful book. My granddaughter and I enjoyed it very much, it was an easy read for her and a great bedtime story. I recommend this book to parents who love to read bedtime stories are have your children read to you. It’s a great way to increase their vocabulary and reading skills. I gave this book five stars because we enjoyed the story about having bad days and apologizes with hugs and kisses! Be blessed and thanks again! ❤️❤️🙌🙌🙏🙏👏👏👍👍
I like it a lot how bright colors and it called good story but I did kind of wish there was a daddy in the story and not just the mommy because I have a daddy and I feel like mommy gonna lot more help if there is a daddy there and it went and made her back mommy just getting me to help you know
This is a wonderful story about Little Monster who has a terrible day. Anyone can have a bad day. Monster woke up not feeling good about the day. The day had more downs than ups that day. The illustrations are bright and lovely. This Sweet story shows the affection of mom and son even on a pretty bad day. "I Love You Anyway!"
We loved the rhyming and the illustrations. Mama monster's facial expressions were on point! We had fun recreating her faces. The relationship between she and her son and the portrayal of a typical bad day and it's resolution was relatable and true to life.
We thought this book would be great for anyone who is having a bad day, because you can relate to the character. It might help the kid feel like someone understands. Say my 6 and 9 year olds.
A book written using a monster to relay a message that it’s okay to have a bad day. The best thing is that the author had a resolve for the bad day. Some of the illustrations didn’t match the words. However, the illustrations were very cute and well done.
Sigal’s books are just a pure delight to read! They rhyme, are about real things that happen with astounding characters – brings out all the motions and have happy endings! Her books are so good you never want them to end! Love always wins!
I love this book and I want to read the other books in this series. I liked the flowers in the vase. I am not happy the monster boy broke the vase. This story made me feel better about my life. The monster is like me.
My four year old granddaughter and I were having a bad day and this just put it into perspective for both of us. The rhythm read nice .the pictures captured her attention.
It follows a little "monster" who has a rough morning, tardiness, mess-ups, and moodiness, but receives unwavering love from mom. Ultimately, empathy and connection prevail.

I absolutely loved the illustrations and vibrancy of the colors. I thought the monsters were very cute and cuddling looking. I found the story enjoyable. I felt it was more for parents than kids in all honesty. This would be a good reminder for parents to read for themselves.
