In the last book, Frankie and Derek come to the mutual understanding that there is no possibility of a relationship between them. That one night in the hotel would be all that they could share. Their relationship would be strictly professional, but things change when Frankie runs into Hayden at Derek's house the next day. Frankie is devastated. Hayden is the woman she caught Reed in bed with when she was in a relationship with him. Frankie runs off and is avoiding Derek. This has Derek going out of his mind. They're both realizing that there may just be more than a physical attraction between them.
Now Derek is determined to get the girl and he will use his skillful ways of seduction to make it happen. I thought that the last book was pretty freaking HAWT, but this one blew book two out of the water in the STEAM department.
He's determined to own every piece of Frankie, including her behind, and ladies he definitely owned that ass by the end of this installment!! Let's just say Derek shouldn't be kissing his mother with that mouth of his, and he definitely shouldn't be kissing Frankie!!
The story seemed to be all about the sex and at times I kind of was annoyed with Frankie and a little bored, but towards the end things get crazy. We find out what really happened that day Frankie caught Reed and Hayden in bed together, and let me just say it's heartbreaking. Also Frankie leaves Derek a cryptic text after she goes to Brea and Anna for advice on making a serious life changing decision. Then Derek gets another text from the last person he was expecting! We're all trying to figure out what the hell is happening. What a freaking mind blowing cliffy!!!

5 OMG! STARS
In hindsight...it might have been a bad idea to start this series before all the parts were published. I'm a mess right now. OMG! That ending.
But let's start at the beginning.
Episode Three picks up right where we left off with Episode Two. Frankie didn't go into Derek's house because of a certain someone she didn't expect to see anywhere near him. And yes...I KNEW IT! I totally called the identity of mystery woman hanging out on Derek's front steps. Still, it is an interesting development. And it opens up a whole world of possibilities.
What does it all mean and how are those people intertwined and WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE? Yeah, I am a bit frustrated...but in a good way. The mystery and the plot thickens.
I really enjoy the pacing of this whole series. Ms. Mann established the main characters, their relationship and now she sets their world on fire. Both personal and professional changes make it all so hard and almost impossible to continue, but who can escape this connection and such blissful satisfaction?
Frankie and Derek are combustible together. The sex scenes truly set my kindle on fire. At this point they really are in a class of their own. Very well developed, strong bond and a ton of issues that threaten everything.
Until the ending it was a 4 or maybe 4.5 Star read, but then there was the 'WOW moment' and I just had to give this one 5 Stars. What a revelation. Hit me right in the feels. I was so overwhelmed with hurt and anger. Let's just say my anxiety level is really high right now and I'm dying to read the next Episode, which should be published on 07/07/2015, as far as I can tell. *fingers crossed*
Until then I'll be a torn mess.

Episode three of a five part serial showcases a story about trust, moving on and finding the one person whom you can't resist, no matter how hard you may try. Frankie has to decide how far her trust levels can go with Derek. The increasing development of the story arc and the protagonists made me fall in love with Unblocked even more, I’m completely invested and eager to continue.

4.5 "Please...Derek..." STARS
I can't believe I'm done with the third book already and now I have to wait weeks for book 4...
I read this in one sitting. Marni's writing, character and plot development is so riveting and her words just wrapped me up in the world of Frankie Jordan and Derek Block.
This picks up where the last book ended with Frankie, who may like to be submissive between the sheets, asserting her dominance and control by showing Derek what she will and will not tolerate. Loved it! And so did Derek!
No surprise but this one HOT read...
...with lots of Frankie and Derek exploring each other...
A LOT.
And OMG, Derek loves to feast on Frankie, like I mean LOVES!! What a lucky girl!
This book was mainly about Frankie and Derek trying to figure out what they have and learning to trust and open up to each other. While these two grapple with the boundaries of their new relationship, their undeniable attraction and their mounting feelings -
"Shivers exploded through my body as my eyes wandered over him. That beard, the one that made my folds pucker, and the mouth that made me scream, and the flannel that shackled my wrists to submission.”
- external forces start bearing down on them from all sides: Randy, Hayden, Mr. Jordan and Reed.
It ends with two cliffhangers of sorts. One where both Frankie and Derek are each within sights of their ultimate dream; a reason to celebrate...
...but now because of that, they are each forced to decide if the other can fit into their lives.
The other cliffhanger sort of came out of nowhere (IMO) , which has Derek bringing out the big guns...
I feel a storm coming...all of this is building and it has to give at some point. I can't wait!!

Frankie has tried. She's tried to keep it professional between her and Derek Block and failed miserably.
Derek has tried. He's tried to keep it professional between him and Frankie Jordan and failed miserably.
Now it's not impossible to stay away. But with all the secrets between them, is it possible to hold on to something...MORE?

OVERALL: This series is going STRONG! Derek is as perfect as before and I have to admit I really like Frankie as well! Oh and DAYUM....the sexual charge between these two is ever-present and painfully intense! Have I told you how much I'm impressed by Derek's...hum...oral skills by the way?

5 "Hot Damn" Stars
So I received episode 3 and I gobbled it up. Derek and Frankie are a couple that I have gotten completely invested in. I love that they were two people who when they met were on their own steadfast course until their instant connection derailed their plans. They tried to fight their connection, their lust, their need.... but instead found that the desire they each had for one another was greater than the fight.
This episode pulls back the layers somewhat. They open up to one another but still not completely. I like that Frankie makes Derek work for the relationship. He is commanding, charming and sincere but his strength and dominance are qualities that Frankie cannot resist. Their give and take, their lust and desire, their needs and wants are all very passionate and downright combustible.
The sex scenes...
A*S*O*L*U*T*E*L*Y ** A*W*E*S*O*M*E (hot, hot, hot).
Besides being super sexy, they are rich in feeling and sensuality. You are able to connect to Frankie and Derek on a deep level and feel their commitment.
We get more insight into Derek’s sister, Hayden and Frankie’s ex, Reed. I love how the plot is thickening. Derek and Hayden’s plan to avenge their father is more exposed as well. The twist and turns in this episode are both daunting and compelling.
I loved how things were moving along, so why did I get all comfortable? This isn’t my first Marni rodeo!! I know she likes to pull the rug out from under me so of course at the end, I was like……..OMG, please tell me no and oh shit, I knew he wasn’t going to go away. So now I have to patiently wait for episode 4. (tapping my fingers and rolling my eyes cause waiting patiently is so not going to happen….. So Marni- Hurry Hurry Hurry, I need episode 4 like yesterday!!!

4.5 explosive stars****
I'm just loving this series, and we're starting to see pasts, live presents and wonder if they should risk each other for their futures. This series continues to blow me away and this one did just the same with one explosive ending where I literally was at the edge of my seat.
So what's it about?
Frankie ran away from Derek and where she thought he moved on from her pretty quickly, at the end of part two they both didn't believe they could continue with the one night they were explored except they somehow can't resist what's in front of them and how attracted they are to each other. So here in part three they continue to have an somewhat erotic delightful and passionate time together and start too see where what they have is going and can they enjoy what they are doing.
Except Frankie's past is creeping up on her and secrets are unfolding making her question the risk she is taking and how this will jeopardise her career and her goal in mind, to take over her fathers business. On a professional level she shouldn't be doing what she's doing except she can't stop the feelings she's got towards the dominant Derek and how he makes her FEEL.
Derek has secrets that are starting to surface but not fully yet and the last 30% I was at the edge of my seat. I would say in this instalment I enjoyed the more Angst feel and unknown as to where Marni is taking us as readers. I will say though the plot has intrigued me to where I was curling my toes, I was scared of the secondary characters and what involvement they all have to the past and how that will compromise their future and their happiness.
The Sex
Titillating and arousing and was such a pleasure to read, if you enjoy erotic reads like me then this is most definitely a delight and enjoyable one.
Final Thoughts.
I am really enjoying this intriguing and sexy series, it only took me a couple of hours to read and probably less for you (I'm a slow reader), but I read it pretty much in one sitting. I'm loving the secrets and what's coming to surface and also how much they both want to tell each other what's going on but not 100% sure if to. I'm also loving how much they are exploring each other and the erotic sensual read this is, this is for sure a great novella series that I'm loving every word and gripping me to my seat. I would say Marni is a great character building author that has me enjoying the depths of Derek and Frankie and who they are, what they want and in turn how they're Feeling. All in all this is one explosive episode and I can't wait for Part Four.

4 game on stars
Derek and Frankie have some misunderstandings to work through, but it requires them going back to the past they both so desperately try to keep from each other. But if they truly want to make something of this, they need to let go and trust in the other with their secrets and thoughts ...
What they have together is more than they have ever experienced before, and is more than what they are prepared to accept ... but it seems their past has something else planned for them, and deciding their fate for them both. Only Derek plays by his own rules and he's not about to give up, not now or ever...
Unblocked Episode 3 takes us one step forward and three steps back, shit just got real in every aspect of their life and while I applaud Frankie for sticking to her guns, I wan to smack her all the same for running away. Derek is a man who protects what's his and while his focus has been on revenge, Frankie has taken a piece for herself and now he has to fight two battles instead of one. Reed is an ass you want to kick over and over again, I seriously cannot wait to see what's coming his way. This series just gets better and better, the heat, the heart, the sex and the emotion, and I can't wait to see where their story is headed.

And that is an important part of this series.
No, for real, because Frankie and Derek communicate the best when they are in the throes of passion...with the Dick... and his mouth, tongue, hands, and all the other working parts Frankie loves. Because in these moments, Frankie and Derek seem to be their most honest and real.
It is all the other times when they are away from each other, the drama happens... and it is not pretty.
Things are ramping up with the scheme Derek and his sister Hayden have been working on to destroy Randy. Frankie is posed to take over her father's company but he is pushed to make a difficult choice. Past lovers are forcing themselves into the picture whether they are wanted or not.
So much was squeezed into the last part of this installment, you could almost say it was a tight fit...like Derek's Dick....(oh, come on...I couldn't resist).
This is a fun, sexy serial series that has a little bit for everyone. This installment was no different; lots of sex and more intrigue to keep this story going. Bring on Part Four.

However, the longer they tried to stay away from each other, they harder it was for them to accept there was nothing between them. But personal and professional secrets may prove to be a roadblock to something that has just began.
Marni Mann never failed to deliver a panty-dropping red hot read. For something short, she managed to pack a whole lot of hotness!
So Frankie and Derek decided, they couldn’t stay away from each other. They were trying to maintain and not mess up both their personal and professional relationships.
However, as soon as they decided it all could work, external circumstances were threatening to blow it all apart. Frankie was finally getting what she really wanted in her professional life, but something dark from her past was slowly brewing. And for Derek, a new development in his vendetta against Randy forced him to re-think if what he wanted was the right thing at the right time.
What I love about this episode is I finally got my wish of more Reed involvement in the story. I know I’m probably the only one who wanted more of him but from the first book, I felt he hold a huge leverage in the development of Frankie and Derek’s relationship. I’m dying to see how all of that will unfold.
Story-wise, I felt the first half was a little too slow for my liking. Considering it’s a novella, I was hoping for more things to happen more quickly. I’m intrigued and confused at the same time when it comes to Randy. I felt his “involvement” was too secretive because we hardly know anything about the why and how.
The story did pick up as the book progress and I have to say, the author definitely mastered the art of writing a good cliffhanger ending. I have no idea which direction the story would go in the next episode and it left me wanting more without making me want to pull my hair out.

At this point in the series I'm pretty obsessed with Derek Block. The sexy bearded, flannel-wearing, real estate mogul is even more sexy and dirty talking this time around.
The story picks up from book two and a big secret is revealed about Frankie. This is the middle of the series and now we're getting a little deeper into what drives Derek and I loved seeing another side of him that he reveals to Frankie. Both of their walls start to come down, but will it last.
Once again the writing is superb and the story flows well. This Unblocked Series is becoming one of my favorite erotic serials. And the sex scenes do not disappoint! They were scorching, soak your panties, you-will-need-to-fan-yourself hot!
The cliffy has me on the edge of my seat...and I want MORE!

In the 3rd book Frankie finally has the contract every realtor in Boston wanted. Frankie wanted to play it safe with Derek to avoid getting hurt & to make sure she didn't lose his contract, but she couldn't help the way she craved his touch. Derek only ever has one night with a woman & then moves on, but with Frankie he gets attached. Lines get blurred and they both have trouble keeping things casual. They both know it makes more sense to end things before it gets complicated, but they can't fight how they feel. They are both realizing they have real feelings developing and they want more than just a physical relationship. We get a bit of drama with some misunderstandings involving Derek's sister, and Derek clearly still has secrets he's keeping about something. Hello Episode 3...thank you for the emotional uproar you created in so little pages! Marni Mann is killing it with this series! While she intrigued me with Episode 1 and hooked me completely by Episode 2, she has made me a full believer in her craft with this third installment. Each page is opening up the story and turning up the heat.
Welcome back Mr. Block and Ms. Jordan...
Still in the dark as the what is really going on...still uncertain as to the "real" behind each character...still on the fence about mixing business with pleasure...still completely unable to get one another out of their systems.
While Frankie is doing her best to move forward she is consumed with the dominance of Derek. No one has ever taken over her thoughts or her body the way he does, but she is in no way looking to get hurt...her past while still somewhat a mystery has pain written all over it. Moving forward for Derek is not going so well either as he is rocked by his want...no his need for Frankie! Will they give in to their desires? Will they be able to "unblock" the mystery of their connection?
So much progression and development. So much MORE to the whole story! Finally the pieces are falling together. While the pure erotic nature of Frankie and Derek is taking an emotional turn it is unclear as to what will happen in the next episode with new threats...pasts connected...life changing decisions in the fold...so many potential BLOCKS to happiness. This is an absolute must read series that will leave you on edge and over the top turned on! While still not complete, it is easy to see that the conclusion will be amazing!

I've been helpless to Derek Block's charms and sex appeal from episode one and after reading this third book not only am I addicted to him but a willing submissive of his sultry Alpha male ways. I simply can't get enough!!!
Who were Derek and Frankie trying to fool? After that one scorching- hot encounter, did they really think they could just stop and simply have a professional relationship? Of course not and guess what? things between them only get hotter and more interesting.
Her past and his future collide and both Frankie and Derek have big decisions to make. When you are as driven as these two are and have had one solid goal in mind for so long is hard to make room for anything else but what will happen when they realize that the only thing standing in their way, blocking the ultimate prize is this powerful thing between them?
More secrets are revealed and the puzzle is starting to make perfect sense. I was shocked and a little sad to find out what really happened between Frankie and her ex but I must admit in this third book I had a lot mixed emotions towards her. In one hand I was impressed by her resilience but some of her reactions did annoyed me as well but in the end I have to attribute her behavior to the way Derek makes her feel and act, she's constantly battling against her strong willed nature and the need to submit to Derek completely.
Like i've said before, I'm completely enamored with this story and the more I read, the more I crave. I have no doubt that Derek Block will be the main character in my dreams until I get my next dosage of Unblocked deliciousness.

Once again, Derek & Frankie's hotness melted my Kindle. Marni Mann writes brilliant erotica! Unblocked - Episode Three starts where Episode Two left us hanging as Ms. Mann flawlessly executes the continuation of Derek & Frankie's plot. Her words and the flow of her story provide vivid depictions of what's happening with her plots. It's easy to feel the EXPLOSIVE chemistry between these two characters thanks to Marni's excellent writing.
As Episode Three progresses layers of depth become increasingly uncovered with both characters. I liked this Episode especially because we're seeing more of a vulnerability in Derek when it comes to his feelings for Frankie. As he becomes more self aware of his true feelings regarding Frankie, Derek's secrets cause more of a problem for him. While likewise, Frankie who's ever uber-confident professionally juggles her emotions of confidence versus those of submission she elicits only for Derek Block. Lines really begin to blur as their personal relationship heats up becoming more important than their professional one.
Episode Three leaves us slightly hanging at the end. There's not a major WTF moment but a moment that none the less makes us want to have the next installment RIGHT NOW. I can't wait to see where Marni Mann takes us with these two next.

Unblocked episode 3 will keep you wondering how everything will finish and even if it's a little more than the half of the series questions keeps arising.

This part has a lot of revelations with both Derek and Frankie being more open, they are some shocking truth that are revealed.
The other important part was how Derek and Frankie relationship will evolve; will it continue?

Both of them didn't expect to feel more than lust. Yet feelings are there and start to develop

Special mention Brea! I never mentioned her in my reviews before but she might be my fav' secondary character ever. Everyone should be friend with someone like her! Can't wait for her books ^^

3.5 Hot and Cold Stars
UNBLOCKED Episode Three continues with the storyline of Frankie and Derek. They've both given in to their cravings for each other (many times, I might add) but outside pressures continue to mount against them. Frankie still has her family business at the forefront of her mind- well, it's forefront when Derek isn't in f@ckable distance from her. Derek still has hidden agendas apparently.
In this episode, we get more drama/conflict surrounding Hayden and Reed. After the cliffy from book two, there's damage control to be done on Derek's part.
I do have to admit Frankie is beginning to get on my nerves. She seems to forget he's still her biggest client and her behavior at times is immature at best- much less professional. I don't care how miffed she is at the man- he's still her biggest client FFS! She completely ignores him and refuses to answers calls or texts. Sometimes it's almost justified if I was in her shoes but sometimes it's fairly immature.
The steam factor in this episode is pretty smoking. Derek doesn't leave much left to do between them. He continues to be uber Dominant and strangely averse to her touching him. I'd really like to understand that reasoning. She's been allowed to touch his chest and tattoos sometimes then not others. That's a bit odd to me. It's either a trigger or it's not.
One sex scene kind of made me cringe. Maybe it's the nurse in me but...
UNBLOCKED Episode Three, once again, ends in a mother of a cliffy. I'm hoping we start to get some concrete answers soon as I feel like this cyclical stuff is getting old. We get a cliffy at the end...then it's resolved fairly early on...then lots of sex sex sex in the middle...followed by another cliffy. Repeat. Answers need to start coming or this storyline is not going to hold my interest much longer, unfortunately. Give me something to bite into please. I hope this doesn't sound more negative than positive. I enjoyed the book- I just need answers trickle fed for me to keep my book ADD at bay...
Hoping the next installment will give me the answers or clarifications I need...

I'm loving the "Unblocked" series Marni Mann has created. Episode three picks right up where the second book ended. I loved how strong of a character Frankie is and how in the second book she took charge of her relationship with Derek. One night was all it was supposed to be. Have some amazing sex, get each other out of their systems and move on with their professional relationships. But in this episode we get to see how that idea basically blows up in both of their faces. Frankie has gotten under Derek's skin and how he's not letting her have the last word.
Frankie is slowly chipping away at the mysterious facade that Derek puts up. She gets him to open up about some things that he would normally not share with someone he was just sleeping with. Yet she does this with the promise of more sex, anal to be exact and boy was it HOT! We learn more about Frankie's past relationship with Reed and discover a connection with Derek's sister. And then of course Reed decides he wants to challenge Derek for Frankie's affection.
I'm looking forward to the next installment. I really can't stand Reed's arrogance and think I'm going to enjoy watching Derek take him down. I want to know more about this vendetta Derek and Hayden have against Randy. And of course I want more of Derek's dominant behavior. This series is a must read!

Not only does this series keep getting better, it grows increasingly more addictive! This episode manages to ratchet up the steamy sexy times while slowly revealing pieces of Frankie’s and Derek’s past. It is especially gratifying given that the last installment, although enjoyable, was heavy on the sex and light on substance. Frankie and Derek decide they want more than a one-night stand, and with Derek completely clueless as to what a relationship entails there are some bumps along the way.
Both main characters appeal to me. Derek is this dominant alpha male but he occasionally submits to Frankie (which somehow makes him sexier) and begins to open up to her. He also has a humorous side. His interactions with Will are particularly funny. Is he capable of picking out a gift on his own?? There seems to be a dichotomy between the highly sexual Frankie we see now and the career driven woman we met in episode one that I find fascinating. The secondary characters are also highly enjoyable and do a good job propelling the plot. I can see a couple of them having spin-offs of their own.
Marni Mann’s writing is flawless and although I’m not a huge fan of serials I’m hooked. She certainly knows how to write a jaw-dropping cliffhanger and this book is no exception. Bring on the next installment!

The secondary characters are also highly enjoyable and do a good job propelling the plot. I can see a couple of them having spin-offs of their own.
Marni Mann’s writing is flawless and although I’m not a huge fan of serials I’m hooked. She certainly knows how to write a jaw-dropping cliffhanger and this book is no exception. Bring on the next installment!

Holy Hotness!!! Derek can leave his flannel on my floor or his boots under my bed any ‘ol time!
Each episode just keeps getting better! In episode 3, the heat between Frankie and Derek continues to rise and Derek’s oral skills deserve to be in the Hall of Fame!
“Ahhhhh, she moaned, her thighs closing in on my cheeks. Derek, your tongue… I looked up at her, my lapping coming to a stop. What about my tongue? Don’t …fucking…stop.”
Besides all the panty melting action, the plot takes an interesting path revealing more about the circumstances surrounding Frankie’s break-up with Reed. With this reveal, you can better understand Frankie’s reluctance to commit to Derek. Additionally, Reed’s appearance is much more frequent adding more dimension to his character and creating more questions. As for Derek, he is finally willing take commitment baby-steps with Frankie, but his plan of vengeance against Randy seems to take precedence. Lastly, the mystery clouding Hayden’s character is still lingering. I still have so many questions about her!!
I loved the interactions between Derek and Frankie. There were times when I wished she didn’t ignore Derek and confront the issue, but you can also understand the cause of Frankie’s slightly irrational behavior. Oh, I do not want to omit Brea from this review because I adore her friendship with Frankie. Brea is the perfect balance for Frankie and likes to rattle her a bit with humor and straightforwardness.

So this episode picks up right where the previous one ended. Seriously, I read this so fast, I was finished in a blink of an eye; which goes to show you how vested I was in the story.
We now have more information as to how tangled the lives of Derek and Frankie are even before they realized it, what with someone in Derek’s life playing a part in Frankie’s past. Factor that in with what’s going on presently with their relationship in and out of the boardroom that makes for one complicated situation. Then there’s the ex- too!
Additionally, Derek has his demons to slay and Frankie has her ladder to climb. I’m actually kinda worried how things will play out in Episode 4 given those things as well. But what I’m not worried about is the heat factor between them 2, hawt indeed! *g*
I’m really liking how Derek is not your typical suited bajillionaire yet just as smokin’ hot. And Frankie, I understand her. I’m concerned about some of her thought process but like I said, I get it.
The way this ended, and how fast I finished it, I seriously cannot wait for bk 4!

Derek and Frankie have a few misunderstandings, but soon figure that their desire for each other only increases with each conjugal contact they have. Derek dominates and Frankie explores her submissive and adventurous side, doing things she's never done before or with anyone else.
But soon familial obligations on both sides become obstacles in what they are starting to feel for each other. Machinations from outside forces feel like there will be an explosive collision in a future episode. We have Randy who both Hayden and Derek are still after, but seems to have his own cards up his sleeve. Reed who is pursuing Frankie relentlessly, showing some fang in his desire to get what he wants. Even if Frankie doesn't want him anymore. Finally, there's Frankie's father who's impersonal expectations of his daughter are weighing her down like a barnacle on her neck.
I feel things coming to a head. I'm buzzing in anticipation for it to happen. Marni gives you just enough to make you hungry for more.
I like Frankie and Derek together. They've both been so driven to carry out a path they've been on for so long that they've neglected themselves. Together they are what they could and should be. This one will be short.
I was in an orgasmic high during Episode #2, but in Episode 3 I was feeling less aroused and more annoyed. I'm not gonna deny that I like everything that Derek said and his TONGUE...God! The things he can do with it sounds so humanely impossible.
"... my tongue plunged so fucking deep she was able to ride it. And she did..."
Anyway, I'm not liking this one as much was mostly due to Frankie. Sometimes I think she is too much of a drama queen. Getting all bitchy and initiate a cold war just because he was late for date for twenty minutes. Instead of worrying he might have an accident and whatnot, she just ignore him altogether and make him grovel for it. I feel like asking Derek to forget about her. I'm sure he got a legion of female begging for his tongue.

Well..I did not see this coming!!
I was supposed to wait a while before I read this one because I knew the ending would make me want more but as soon as it landed in my kindle I dropped my current read and jumped on it.You can tell how patient I am but I don't regret it!
This is episode 3 of a 5 part serial and it one carries on from where we left off which was a cliffhanger.I'm not sure how I feel about Hayden I was quite skeptical of her and by the ending I still don't like her. I need to know more about Derek and Hayden's past because there are so many pieces missing and we still don't know what happened with Randy and why they are trying to destroy him.What we find out about Frankie at the end and omg Reed how I want to kill him. I really wasn't expecting anything like this, I need moree and I really don't want it to be all ruined.
This book was Derek and Frankie exploring each other, finding out that they care and what they have is much more than lust. They both want more and Frankie is trying to find her own role in this confusing relationship they have going on and making Derek work for it.She challenges him and he craves more.

Episode three in the Timber Towers series came off as a little lackluster for me, I am sad to say. Derek and Frankie have been great, but something was just a bit off center in this installment. It could be that I am getting a little tired of the wait or that I found out it has two more episodes to go. At least, I hope it’s only two more! I am beginning to find out that three is my limit for series novellas when the page count is this low. If I am to understand correctly, Timber Towers will be five episodes.
I also found the sexy times to be waaaaaaay into my ick zone. Again, I am no prude when it comes to erotica, but I do have issues with certain activities and their order. Keep it clean people, keep it clean.
Also I found Frankie to be somewhat annoying and a bit juvenile, which hadn’t been the case before.
Here’s hoping things pick back up in episode four.

Another fantastic installment of this series by Marni Mann! When Frankie tries to avoid Derek at all cost, the chase is on. Derek isn’t the kind to want more than one night with a woman. His goals have never allowed him the pleasure, but there is something different about Frankie. Both have been caught up in their pasts, one to escape and other seeking vengeance, but they never expected their pasts to be so intertwined.
Part three of this five part series was blistering hot. The writing was captivating, the story gripping and Derek Block is all alpha and hot as hell! I can’t wait to see what we have in store in the final two installments. I have a feeling this is going to have some twisty suspense thrown in and I am not sure if there is anyone outside of Derek and Frankie that I trust.

An ARC of Unblocked-Episode One by Marni Mann was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review. Unblocked is the third episode out of the five novella series by Marin Mann.
In order to read this novella you need to read the first two episodes. This is a cliffhanger but well worth it.

I can't believe I'm more then half way through the series, let alone done with the third episode already! This episode was just over the top. I got to find out a lot of my unanswered questions, not all, but most.
In this novella It takes off where the 2nd episode left off, Where Frankie finds out Derek has some sort of ties to Hayden. This is when Frankie really tries to brush off and avoid Derek's attention. Derek's not having any of that, for him he's never wanted a relationship. In fact he had a One night One morning rule. Having a relationship might get in the way of him seeking out revenge against one of his biggest competitors. Will Frankie be worth risking his life long goal of revenge? And when he's starting to realize that Frankie is not just like any other girl he's fooled around with, he just can't get enough of her. Will Derek change his rules for Frankie too? You'll have to find out for yourself.
Frankie on the other hand has been trying to work through her own demons , Which I can tell she is somewhat struggling with. She's trying to escape her past, but when her past keeps popping up in her present she's having a more difficult time coping. When she receives exciting news she realizes that her "relationship" with Derek is interfering with her work that she has built up since as long as she can remember. With all this stress going on in Frankie's life I can't wait to find out what she decides to do.
The ending part of the book just made my head spin, I was just so torn for the situation that Frankie was put through In the past. I was more intrigued then ever in this episode. And to think that I'll have to wait for the next installment?! Killing me! lol. I miss Derek's dirty mouth already and I can't get enough. I need the Fourth episode like YESTERDAY! Read this serious you will not be disappointed I promise you that, this serious is short sweet hot sexy witty and just UGH I can go on for days! As usual GOOD JOB MARNI MANN!!!! Can't wait for the next installment! I need to know what happens!
