The delightfully romantic story of Pretty Beach continues as the sweet, little coastal town is covered in a blanket of snow.
Sallie Broadchurch upped sticks from the drudge of her old life, was swept off her feet by a dashing pilot and is undoubtedly living the dream with her own wedding business, a gorgeous old boat house by the sea and a vintage orangery she’s bought all ready to host events.
Then, when luck comes her way she finds herself creating a winter wonderland at the Orangery on the beach. But not everything is quite as dreamy as she thought… and real life throws up a few problems.
Will Sallie and Ben get what they really want for Christmas or will fate deal a blow that will overturn all their plans?
It’s wonderful being back at Pretty Beach catching up with Sallie, Ben and their friends. Snow and Christmas preparations make for such a magical setting and I bet it’s a fabulous place to get snowed in. As always Polly Babbington has written a brilliantly captivating story which makes you want to book a stay at Pretty Beach.
Winter at Pretty Beach is a ‘pleasant’ story I would say. It ambled through with the characters from the previous titles appearing throughout.
I did find that it rambles almost at times. I say this because sometimes you wonder what was the point in some of the things been told as some of the story doesn’t go anywhere but fills pages.
All in all its an OK read and if you like the characters from the other books you may like this one.
I not sure I will carry on with the others? If I find I want a really light read I may.
I absolutely love this series. I really feel like I know Sallie and Ben, I’d love to live at Pretty Beach and become part of their friendship circle. Yet again Polly Babbington reduced me to tears (happy ones obviously!) which leave me wanting even more from this superb series. I’m really looking forward to reading Christmas at Pretty Beach. In the meantime I need a book to occupy me until it’s available. Highly recommended.
It's winter and Sallie decides to buy and renovate the orangery, she finds someone to rent one of the cottages and between them they host a surprise wedding, with the help of the locals and Lucian. He hosts a podcast "where the hell is Pretty Beach" they pull off the wedding of the year. Nina is in trouble though, it's full of turmoil and lots of snow.
I read this whole series in 2 days, just could not put it down. It feels like you are there with them all ,living in the village.I had mistakenly read the other series first what I loved just as much, now want more the new baby, weddings and more lives of petty beach. Please bring us more about the residents and their lives.
Again, Sallie and Ben have enthralled me. I’m lost in their world in Pretty Beach, but now I’ve finished this book it’s back to the housework and my ‘real’ life. Thank you for such a lovely bit of escapism.
Really had hoped sally would be pregnant and find her dream house, just hope Nina will be 100% fit in the next book and maybe Juliette can find love as well as David Please hahaha
What a beautiful story of romance by the sea, this was a lovely read with all the twists and turns, fabulous, it is so well written, I certainly hope there is a follow up, many many thanks 👏👏👏👏👏👍😍

Another wonderful book by Polly. She puts in so much detail and it's almost like seeing a film as you read! Great storyline again. Really love her books!
A very enjoyable read, with lots of things happening in Pretty Reach. The characters come to life with the clever writing of Polly Babbingtons creation. Recommend you read this series.
